  • I applied for an Education Visa which allows me to study Thai and stay in the country for one year. I picked this up and we decided to head across to Koh Samui for a couple of months. As we've decided to stay in one place for a bit longer than usual we wanted to find a nice home.
Koh Samui has a great selection of properties to choose from to suit every budget. We found a great agency called Beyond Properties who have several properties available to rent. After viewing three properties we chose one of them to rent for two months. To be honest we liked them all.
Please leave us a comment and let us know which property you would have chosen. Thanks for watching. Your support means a lot to us. If you haven't done so already please hit the subscribe button as we will be posting a new video every Sunday.

Another great video, I would choose the Garden Villa if it was me, as it’s private with plenty of green space, and I love an outdoor bathroom. Both are great though I am sure you will be happy in either one. It must feel good to have stopped for a little while. Thanks again and I look forward to the next vlog.

Good choice Jacques. That's the one we chose for the exact reasons that you mentioned. I hope you're having a nice relaxing weekend. ;-)

We loved our stay in Koh Samui! We stay at the Conrad and it was fantastic! We also visited the local parts which is so fun! So lovely that you are showing us around. WOW those are some really amazing villas available with pools and such! It is just like Bali where everything is discounted and you can get some really amazing deals! Villa 2 for the win!?!?!? HAHA. Can't wait for the next episode!!!

We also love Bali and can't wait to visit again, hopefully soon. I love Balinese style properties. We are happy here for now though as we signed a two month contract on the second property. I will head over to your channel tonight as I've just noticed your new video. ;-)

Great video! Thanks for sharing. How did you select an agent to show you properties in Koh Samui?

Garden villa is amazing. Btw, your previous video in Skopje has started a bit of a trend. A number of Brits are using the Super8 hotel as a stopover between Turkey and UK.

Oh really? Thanks for letting me know that. I'm happy to hear that the video has been useful for other people. I love finding a good deal on hotels and other properties. ;-)

Amazing!! We are currently in ASQ in Bangkok with 5 nights left 🥳. We hope to stay in Thailand after our STV also, do you think an education visa is the way to go? I was under the impression you couldn't go from STV to another visa whilst in the country? All the best 🍀

Oh I'm not sure about that. I didn't enter on an STV. I came in on 45 day visa exemption. I'm sure you can extend the STV twice , giving you a total of a 9 month stay. I hope the next five days pass quickly for you. 😉
