Can someone explain/identify what that black piece of plastic at the top of the hatch/trunk door is that is sticking out and has a hole so the brake light is visible? What's its purpose?
Is the sport at least a lil faster than the regular ones or it’s the same just the badging. the 99 i have goes to 110 mpg. like i feel it lags when i put my foot on the gas pedal.
I just buy one today, for $1,850 same edition, same color, in good condition 2002 4x4 with 257,000 miles runs drives very good, do you thing its a good price??
@@MrTacoma Yeah. 2001-2002. some Sport models in black or green. where known as Highlanders. They were not labeled as such because the Highlander model would be released later as a more family oriented cross over type.

I just bought a 1997 red one for $1400. It has 4x4 and 229,000 miles. Needs a new muffler but still a great deal and not much rust.
