Story 2: Gosh... He needs a chill pill. It's understandable he felt a little hurt about the Spanish, and personally I also find it a little weird why she wouldn't be upfront with him about it. Usually that's something to know when getting to know one another and becoming close.
Either way, he was TA for addressing the situation like that, and furthermore by trying to force his sister to cut the friendship with his ex, when she did nothing wrong. Entitled much...

I’ve actually had friends who were ashamed of it bc of some issues in their childhood. Maybe she was the same way and having a whole family proudly speaking the language brought out some confidence? Or he never asked and she never thought it was necessary to bring up? Idk OP sounds like one to jump to conclusions so I think his delusions are coming out into his text there a bit

The second story is hilarious, this guy is a fool. “I never wanted to learn Spanish”. He was okay with not speaking Spanish until his German GF spoke it better than he ever could. Now it’s embarrassing. He isn’t mad that she “lied”, he’s mad that she made him look bad. Now his family will have ammunition to make fun of him for being from a Spanish speaking family and not being able to speak it but having a German gf that does. That’s all. He’s mad that her intelligence made him look bad. And yes he’s the AH for the second part too.

Actually it's simple : he has identity problems because he can't speak spanish. He got triggered because his brain translated "she speak spanish, awesome accomplishment" as "I am shit". Pretty narcissistic logic.
Obviously he can't figure out this him self since the logic is : I am the victim, it's always the others.
So he lashes out on her and he trying to control his sister!
