    The Envy X360 boasts a robust design that has remained unchanged for two years, proving its durability even under heavy use. However, accessing its internals can be a bit complicated. Its performance, driven by the Ryzen 7 7730U, has seen only marginal improvements since the previous iteration, especially in Photoshop benchmarks. Opting for the i7-1355U might be a smarter choice if you need better performance.
    The laptop's display offers accurate color representation, making it an excellent choice for creative professionals on a budget. Its battery life is impressive, providing around 10 hours of streaming and solid performance in various scenarios. The trackpad is spacious and responsive, and the audio quality is surprisingly good despite the speakers not being where they appear. The pen touch sensitivity is on point, making it a valuable tool for creative tasks.
    In conclusion, the HP Envy X360 combines a sturdy build, color-accurate display, and decent performance, making it a solid choice for a wide range of users. While it may not be the fastest laptop in its category, its reliability and versatility are standout features. Love the channel, the insights and opinions have been very useful. I'm interested in your thoughts on the ASUS Flow X16 being a 2 in 1 have you checked it out yet? Do you think it will be getting an AMD version?
    Would you be up for reviewing the Flow X16 on your channel? and how it compares. I trust your opinions and think your viewers would appreciate your take.
    keep up the great work!

    I have this laptop (2022 model) and not very happy with the build quality. The aluminium panels are really thin and it already detached in one place from the underlying thin plastic. The hinges also lost some stiffness.

    ⚠HEADS UP⚠
    The HP ENVY X360, Pavillion X360 and Spectre X360 are all known for having chronic hinge failure.
    I can personally attest to this as I just replaced the lid on my 2020 ENVY X360 model. This repair was about 60 dollars and not bad for someone confident with technology. Just be advised BEFORE purchase that this is a known issue and there is a class action lawsuit against HP for this.
    Would I recommend? The wild thing is, I still really like my laptop. Even if HP did manufacture the hinge solution poorly, the value for the $800 price tag I paid is actually quite astounding.
    TLDR: Hinge known to break but still not a horrible option for the price.

    My HP Envy i7 from 10 years ago was pretty much dead barely 5 years later. Takes half an hour to boot up even after I uninstalled virtually everything. I have a 2020 ENVY X360 15 inch and the hinge just broke last week. (technically its not the hinge that broke its actually the plastic that the inside of the lid is made out of that failed) It was a 60 dollar at home fix. Annoying but not terrible if you are familiar with technology like me. I still quite like the laptop but I am disappointed with the hinge issue.

    • @fahimfaisal5576
      @fahimfaisal5576 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    • @joeschratz9360
      @joeschratz9360 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@fahimfaisal5576 I had to replace the whole lid. Since the lid is only metal on the outside, the plastic on the inside fails. If you look up videos you will be better able to understand what happens. The plastic that the metal hinge is screwed into broke away, leaving the hinge useless as it is no longer joined on that side. You must remove the display and switch everything over to a new lid to fix the issue.

    • @joeschratz9360
      @joeschratz9360 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      It was only one side and in my case, it did not damage any other components nor detach from the base of the laptop. In extreme cases, people have had their display shatter as a result.

      @@zentono8932 I know. I just finished highschool and I needed a Chromebook for everything. He said his kid was 5. It’s ridiculous for him to have a windows pc for school. I can see him needing a tablet or iPad though. A windows pc is way to complex and it’s just overkill for anything a 5 year old would need to do
      When I was in kindergarten my schooling was fingerpaint, coloring in the lines, tracing letters, learning to write my name etc.
      I have newest version of this laptop and it’s not fit for a 5 year old. It’s full aluminum and it’s huge. Giant display that could easily crack by the careless hands of a child.
      I don’t care what anyone says. Giving a 5 year old a 1400ish dollar laptop is ridiculous.

    • @devonlangeofficial7305
      @devonlangeofficial7305 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      I think a tablet is a reasonable option for a 5 year old. A kindergartener does not need anything more than that. I don’t even think they should need a tablet for school.
      I will say this again, a FIVE year old does not need a windows laptop for school. It’s overkill. Period and end of story.

      @devonlangeofficial7305 My nephew had to do cyber school for kindergarten during covid ; he had to use my MIL laptop to do his school work. He couldn't use a tablet. Every district/school has different requirements. I agree that in many cases, kids that young shouldn't have a laptop or even a tablet, but if it is required for school, then you can't do much about it.

    Bruh, why'd anyone get their 5yr old an expenisve laptop like that?
    Sure you could say longevity, but they sure as hell aint gonna be using photoshop or something at that age. An i3 or the same ryzen equivalent would have sufficed, with at the maximum, 8gb ram with upgrable ram in the future. If build quality is another point to consider then perhaps dont give a 5yr old their own laptop. They aint gonna be doing conference calls with Tim Cook or something. They really don't need to have a laptop at that age for anything. At the bare minimum, a used iPad or something when they're like 9-10 yrs is more than enough. I ain't tryna give parental advice to anyone here. But I am confident that no 5yr old should have their own piece of tech at that age.
