Honestly, Monster Hunter looks like it has the potential to be a far superior game. The problem is Pokemon is the biggest property in existence. It out earns Star Wars, Marvel, and anything else out there. Everyone is familiar with Pokemon and there is a heavy duty nostalgia factor going on with Pokemon Go. I'm hoping that enough players play Monster Hunter Now that it is worthwhile for Niantic to keep it running for years. The fact that Capcom was heavily involved with this game gives me hope.
Exactly my thoughts. That's one of the reasons I made this channel. Honestly playing alongside Nick from Trainer Tips made me keep playing pogo for a WHILE, so when I looked around and saw no other creators covering the game this extensively I went full Thanos mode and said "Fine, I'll do it myself" Because I really want this game to succeed.
It’s got a good chance of doing better than the others I think because of the quick hack slash gameplay It fits with playing while on the move where the problem with other failed titles imo was you really had stop and stand there to long, I think that a big part of why they failed and it didn’t hook people.
The 3 biggest differences is..... In one game you befriend the monster while in the other you behead the monster. In one you wear clothing resembling the monster while in the other you wear the skin of the monster to intimidate monsters and show of your friends. In one you use the monster to battle for you while in the other you consume numerous amounts of drugs so you can tear them apart with your trusty carving knife. Probably more differences people can point out but what I'm trying to get at is I want a crossover between these two with a Tinkaton palico cause c'mon that pink terror belongs in the MH World.

I LOVE your idea about having delivery quests be tied to walking distance, that would be awesome! Maybe there could even be armor pieces that could help shorten the distance needed for the quest too! I think that's one huge advantage Monster Hunter Now has over Pokemon Go, they have a LOT more interesting features they can implement over time. It's going to be so fun to watch this game grow. And thanks for being the best and most fun place for all our Monster Hunter Now news!
Your video formatting along with info & thought-sharing is great! I agree with the idea that Palico's should do more to support us such as healing players and placing traps during hunts. It'll be inevitable, but Niantic adding in more monsters like Rajang, Zinogre, Tigrex, and Elder Dragons. Lastly, I wonder about leveling up special combat skills & when additional skills will be added to the game. Combat variety for solo/group play adds more excitement to each hunt!

I live right next to a small park with about 9 rescources spots. Like today its 8 bonepiles and 1 minerals outcrop. At 8pm it will changes for 8 minerals and 1 herbs. It cycles like that everyday . I go there, every 3 hours, to check what spawned 😂

Leaving this for the algorithm. The game has one huge flaw, in that you kind of get punished for playing alot, since hp is your stamina, but i really hope niantic capcom do something about it. i am hyped for whichever elder comes first :D As a mountainbiker, that forest looks awesome
I may have put too much thought into he release date but is it possible the US gets the game on the 13th? Hear me out. The MHN Twitter account had a scheduled post that hit right on the hour to announce there was 3 days left. I feel like that tweet signified exactly 3 days, 72 hours before launch. Would the whole world get it at the same time or would it be staggered? If the whole world got it at the same time, that tweet could mean that it comes out at 4 pm pacific time on the 13. Just saying. Maybe I’m just too excited and trying to rationalize a potential early start to my hunting. Thanks for the videos. Please keep them coming. Please consider doing videos on the mechanics for special attacks for each weapon and strategies to level up the right gear so you don’t waste resources. It appears there is a lot to consider when choosing the proper gear and attributes for each monster and everything. Thanks
Haha I was wondering that myself. I was gonna check on the 13th anyway... haha. I'm working on a beginner's guide as we speak. I'll go more in depth on weapon paths etc when the game launches. :) But I will cover the basics including the special moves etc.

Also, I would be cool for proper items like traps, fishing, bombs, etc. I can imagine me fighting a(possible) plesioth and using a frog or lure to hunt it, and traps work like paintballs, but u can set a trap in a certain place/biome and leave, if something triggers the trap, not only can u hunt it by paintball menu, but u will get free damage hits cuz it's in the trap makes sense, right?

Im really hoping they change back the paintball group hunt mechanic. I get why a QR code option is nice, you can make sure you and your friends are hunting the monster so if one of you gets a monster the other needs for mats, theres no worry about a rando taking a spot. BUT, making it the ONLY way to group hunt a paintballed monster seems a bit excessive for no real reason. If they were worried about someone, I dunno, spoofing to paintball a monster and then bring it back to be hunted, why does a QR code stop that? You have a day to hunt the monster and if you're coordinating with people to spoof and grab monsters, you're probably near enough to QR into the hunting party.
9:44 actually good question, coz my phone... well, suck and play sometimes with 5-15 fps. It was frustrating, mainly when i cant dodge coz lags, but then i realise "Im playing in slow motion". I did not try multiplayer to test if it will affect other players when i or someone else will "host party"

as you just release the video and took u time to edit currently there is a so a monthly pass that is limited duration where u get 50 gems daily and ur palico paintball goes from 3 to 5(idk if they fixed it but u can buy the pass AFTER ur palico used 3 paintball and u buy the pass it refreshes to 5 :)

@@laugh8574 Yeah, the developers from capcom are true fans of their own games and one of them was talking about SOS flares during the showcase, but I don't see it happening unless maybe they need to expand it to promote player numbers or something. Doesn't matter to me much. Play Console/ PC with remote friends, and play MHNow with in person friends! That's my plan!

How do you record so many different takes? Carry the tripod in your backpack and use your cell phone to record in different places?

I think adding SOS flares would be amazing to increase this radius. It may not be relevant with the short fight times, but I can still hope
