Yes, the travel expenses are way cheaper than an international flight, but round trip shinkansen tickets (¥10,000+) to Tokyo plus event ticket and that's if it's only me and not including the family(wife and 2 boys) . To justify the cost to wifey is a battle I don't need. Lol, so I can wait for the global or a bit longer for the non event releases.

I will be going to the Shibuya Event on the 12th and yeah its too fricking expensive, Im starting to think of just cancelling the travel. I'm sad that I can only attend to 1 of the 2 days for the event. So in general, too fricking expensive for a 1 day thing, not 2, 1 day, and you will get a virtual medal, a virtual layered equipment, and a bgm AFTER you kill the monster. Those are the exclusive stuff, everything else you get it at the global event. I'm not sure no more as to what to do.

But I am advocating for the global players as well as those who just want to play the game and play f2p. I most certainly will not be grateful when they double the price of the ticket from the last event with almost no additional features so essentially no reason to up the price. That for digital products that will eventually be gone when the game shuts down. We have a 1 year anniversary of a game where there is NO WAY to earn premium currency and has some of the most predatory micro transactions I've seen in a mobile game and they aren't giving us anything free for the anniversary 🤣 It's not a thank you, it's a "Thank you, give us more money now peasant." I am selling t-shirts for the lowest possible price I could find after hours of trying to balance comfort and quality so that people can enjoy wearing merch associated with the game they love to play. I make about $7 per sale of a shirt unless people donate extra, which they do sometimes. I tell them thank you in like, every video, and I'm using the money to buy things for the channel to improve the experience for my audience and support my family if there is extra. And these are PHYSICAL products that you can keep as long as you can keep them nice. This contrasted with paying a multi-billion dollar per year net revenue company for the permission to hunt a monster in which we will most likely have to pay more money to fight because they monetize healing. I see a big difference haha. I'm not going to simply be grateful. I still live the game, despite it's horrible monetization because I love monster hunter and I love AR games.
