  • We were driving the 2000 Integra Gsr, and it just shut off driving to back to the house, Integra wont start, we found out we are not getting any spark at the wires or the coil, so we did a test that you can do to determine if it's a bad coil or ignition switch inside your distrubtor. This will work on most cars, but this video was on a B-Series B18c1 out of a integra gsr. Hope this video helps, if so give me a like and subscribe and share. Thanks for watching and your support.

What’s up! Question, at the light test where it was supposed to flicker mine did not. You mentioned it being the ignition switch inside the distributor? Where exactly is it? Thanks!

So what does it mean if you have power to the negative and positive when cranked but no spark on the coil

Is the light on the test light flashing when you crank over the engine?

The test light doesn’t flash it’s just a steady light

Then your getting power to your coil then it’s the ignition switch in the distributor.

@@JCMotiveGarage why are you getting positive power on the negative?

    • @JCMotiveGarage

It wasn’t actually positive power it was lighting up my test light which meant that I was getting power to the coil.
