Methinks by the end of this epic, sweaty, sleazy distillation of pure rock n' roll, the punters walked away that nite with a pretty good idea that they'd seen something almost religiously transcendent. This show rock n' roll at its finest; a religious epiphany for the Godless rebels & misfits everywhere. It's a thing of rare Beauty. 🦃⚡🎸💥😵🦃
Bon had a voice and a singing style that will never be duplicated again. He greatly complimented those screaming guitars on every song he sang. It's an absolute shame that the world will never ever know just how much great music he was destined to make if that terrible night had never happened
Laying in bed, having just been put on oxygen 24/7 for copd...watchinhg all these live AcDc performances.. Mesmerized by them! Even more now than in 1978. I am 63 now. I never realized what a tiny powder keg Bon Scott was! Tiny in staure HUGE in vocals.

Cliff is just perfect for AC/DC. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate Mark Evans but Cliff is just way more technical and tight. Even Mark himself has said that Williams was the right guy for the band.
Mark played on their best stuff...in my opinion... nothing against Cliff...he played on some great stuff too....I'm only talking about songs with Bon ...not interested in anything he did with Brian...😐
@@philipholmes5884 Just fucking accept the fact that Bon is gone and that AC/DC continued to pump out brilliant songs 44 years after his death, Brian was the best for them after Bon`s death

I saw these cats live shortly after this video in New Jersey! Wildest show I've ever seen. Deff Leppard opened for them. To this day my ears still ring👍🏼
they didnt miss a beat at all, thats the power of rock n roll man it puts you in a sort of high that you dont want to lose, I used to play for an acdc tribute kinda band back home where im from and i know what its like playing these songs this tight
Angus was LITERALLY smoking during this performance. Awesome band, awesome memories. Once you like AC/DC, you'll love them forever. I started listening to this band when I was around 9 years old, and I'm still going.
I was born in '76, so I missed the Bon years sadly. When I saw AC/DC live for the first time, on The Razor's Edge tour, it was a religious experience. I was literally in ecstasy from the start of the show until the very end. Then, for my 15th birthday I got this concert film on VHS. I would watch it over and over in awe. It still blows me away. Best live band ever. They were pure electricity.
Unlucky you,I saw them in 1978 in Glasgow one of two nights where they recorded their live album if you want blood. The Raw sound, the timing, the fan's were captivated and engaged.I went on to see them another 4 times in the Bon era.
This is one of the greatest things I've ever seen. Like seriously, what the hell happened to bands like this? There needs to be a rock band that kicks this much ass again.
@1:03 I mean really. Who struts like this anymore? Who gets out there and get's a groove on. I hope Rock is in just a hibernation. And when it awakes..Oh! look out!!
This for me is pure raw heavy rock n roll it doesn't get any better and nothing today can touch it......AC/DC ....rocker....1978.... Colchester..England ....⚡👹🤟
Takes me back to being 16 again, getting my first electric guitar, cherry red SG and seeing these unknown guys as a back up band when they came to DC touring with a large act. When Angus disappeared and then re-appeared on Bon's shoulders way off stage we were awed. Saw them every time they came to town and learned to play guitar listening to their music and figuring it out.
This was on Wednesday 25 Oct, the band were flown in from Paris to do the gig.... XTC played on the 28th. Met the bands, still got the autographs. One of the best gigs I've ever been to.
There never be anyone like bon again..... impossible....he would still be rocking at 73 yrs old....people realizing just how great he was....40 yrs later he is still huge.....rocknroll exemplified!!!

11 years before I was born….. I can’t wait til they make the time machine, I’m going to EVERY concert, show, radio broadcast, their basement, sister room, etc
Disagree. We knew. I saw them first in 1978 and can still remember the thrill of being deaf for a few days, the sight of Angus in Bon's shoulders and the unbelievable power of the rhythm. It’s stayed with me ever since.
I saw them in this era I was 8 years old. My uncle Robert (plug) usher was roadie guitar tech for Angus. Been to loads of gigs since and still the greatest one I have ever been to.
Now that is the shit right there. I can see my young self listening to the radio in the south island of NZ when the news came through that Bon had died of Rock n Roll. Now I'm old and I still miss him. Rock on everyone..
Man, I wish I could have seen AC/DC with Bon Scott!
If you'r tired of life and its sacrifices, just listen this song with a cool beer in hand. Rock On, Ride On, ACDC FOREVER
I did and I kept spilling my beer all over as I jumped all around and played the air guitar 🎸
Absolutely.
Like the stage setup, just a wall of amplifiers and drums, no thrills or pompus crap. Rock n roll in it's purest form by these guys
A proper gig.Loud and small venue.
These kids had no idea who they were watching....had no idea how LUCKY they were to see ACDC in the beginning w/Bon
I agree. I have a friend who said she watched AC/DC when they were the pub band in Geelong.
Totalmente, ahora que si lo escuchan y los ven saben que llevan un tesoro en su corazón
I was fortunate to see them in 79, in Oakland. They were unbelievable.
