I would say 74-79. The whole Bon era was the best. Saw AC/DC in 79 with UFO and to this day it"s one of my all time favorite concerts. Saw AC/DC in 80 and 81 and although those shows were great, they were not as good as the 79 show IMO. RIP- Bon and Malcolm

As someone old enough to have been an actual eye witness at the gig... I can safely say that it’s still one of the best performances I’ve ever seen. By anyone. AC/DC always had a particular connection with Glasgow, and the Apollo was our best venue. Sadly long gone. They seriously cranked it up when playing here. Quite the most incredible r’n’b band ever to have graced the earth. And to have seen them on my doorstep - I was 16 - was something for which I shall be forever grateful. These guys shaped my love of music forever.

Bons voice live was legendary. He was one of those rare cases where he sounded better live than he did on the album, and his voice on the album's still sounded insane.

Dog Eat Dog is equally subversive. Don't let anyone tell you AC/DC wasn't political. Dog Eat Dog was written and first performed in Australia. It's a blistering critique of a so-called egalitarian society that was - and remains - inherently corrupt and brutal towards so-called 'losers' at the bottom of the heap. And Bon belts it out with every fibre of his being. I don't buy into the Scots v Australian thing re AC/DC because I have the great good fortune of being an Australian of Scottish heritage on both sides of my family - best of both worlds :).
