Good to see Bambu Lab enabling this ok, it saves them having to invest money etc plus keeps the P1S/P1P at cheaper competitive prices for their customers. I am planning to buy the P1S/AMS Combo here in NZ. Laurie NZ. Subscribed! 😊
Great overview of the BTT Panda touch. I especially like the ability to connect and control up to 10 printer with one device.

The correct Z jogging is that of the Panda display rather than the Bambu Handy because you have to think with the tool not with the plate.
We undestand all that, but the bambu came first and the panda needs to match their buttons so it's not confusing for the users.

IDK if BTT can (or how) they could correct the IP address issue, but... Pro Tip: It is a a good practice to assign devices on your network that are accessed regularly by other devices (ie your PC accessing the printer) fixed (reserved) IP addresses in your router. Depending on how your router is set up, IP DHCP lease times can very and will change if the device isn't powered on within (most commonly) a 24hr window. Doing this fixed IP address will solve this issue with the BTT Panda Touch. 🙂👍
When I assign fixed IP addresses to devices, I also put a sticker on them showing it's IP address for future reference.
Hi, yes, fixed IP address can be done on the router side, but not everyone knows how to do that. When the panda display scans for printers connected on the network, it can identify the type of printer and it's name. It might be easier for BTT to make an algorithm that... for everytime a saved printer is missing, the display can scan and if it searches the same type of printer and name, it could prompt the user to validate and correct the IP number automatically.
Cant you give your printer a dedicated IP so it never changes then the screen will always see and use the IP of the printer.

I don't understand. Use your cell phone. The app interface is just as good or better than a touchscreen on the printer.
