15:20 The printer will fetch the IP address from the router's DHCP server. Your router can specify a static ip for your printer, or it can hand out a new one when the DHCP lease cycle ends (typically 24 hours). This is why your printer received a different IP after it rebooted. It is best to set a static IP in the router so that the router knows that IP is reserved by your printer. Instead of setting the static IP on the printer only, And then potentially having an IP address conflict in the future.

I'm completely new to 3D printing. If i have a file that is set up for PETG can I use PLA?

Seems like a solid printer for the money, might end up getting this when it hopefully goes on sale on black Friday. Likely by then most of the kinks will be worked out, or at least any issues it has will have remedies.
I'm curious if those underbed piezos work after the bed is heated to 120C. I've played around with underbed piezos, they stop working reliably above 50-60C which makes it hard to implement them on enclosed printers.

I was trying to decide between x-plus 3, Adventurer 5m pro and the P1S. Now i have this one to look at too. So I will be printing parts for RC airplanes and around the woodshop. I will need to print glass fiber nylon, abs cf, tpu, pet cf and petg. I don't want to tinker with it. I want to print parts for other hobbies, not get a 3ad printer hobby. Which do you recommend? Max budget for printer is $700 since i will need to by dryer and filament.

I still look at the Flashforge... it seems a great printer with excelent results, although this one is quite cheaper.

P1S is reliable. Chances are you may end up spending more fixing the other printers. Can’t go wrong with a Bambu.

In a different review video on this 3D printer I've seen on TH-cam, the Q1 Pro runs on Klipper firmware from 2 years ago and cannot be updated to the most recent. On top of that, there are concerns for how open source the printer is. I'd like to fix or do upgrades on my own without the whole proprietary stuff getting in the way.
Since this info is coming from one video I've seen, I'd like to know your experience using this 3D printer regarding the firmware and open source issue. I'm newer to 3D printing, but have had one before, and this does look promising. However, those two are my main concerns for the printer, especially with it just releasing.

Hi, they probably choose an older version so they could have a stable and issue free version. Nevertheless, it might be possible to update to newer versions. The downside is that it will loose warranty.

I would watch all the other reviews about it rather than just the Vector 3D review which is overly critical, his also seems to be coming from a place of wanting to tinker with the printer rather than considering it's designed to be set and forget. If you want 3D printing to become a hobby where you're always modifying your printer then maybe it's not the right one for you, this is designed to be good to go out of the box across the most common materials and just work.

Thanks for the good review. I would be interested in your evaluation of print quality using 95a TPU. Other reviews have exposed some TPU printing issues which may be due to a loose filament path that allows the TPU to bind. Seems like there should be a way using low friction materials to better guide the TPU filament.

The chamber heater and price are two big reasons over the K1C. Same with vanilla Klipper- although Vector3D seems to suggest that it's some weird forked version. If it can be uninstalled and Vanilla Klipper installed through Kiauh though, I don't see any reason why you would want the K1C.

Yeah, Why? My Q1 Pro can print just as well as a P1S. I've compared side by side prints. Plus, you get more/better features with the Q1 Pro. All for a fraction of the price.
