- I think this Panda touch is an interesting product. For someone who don't like the stock screen on P1P/P1S, this would be a great upgrade. Also, if you are running printing farm or mutiple Bambu Lab machines, this device will help you with your workflow.
But when you have different modes like I did, you might be very easy to make mistakes. As it is curretly fresh to the market, BigTreeTech is still updating the firmware and adding more features in.
They have also mentioned about the potential issue for compatibility with Bambu Lab machines in the future, after they disable the MQTT protocol.

Is this wifi only? I don't have my printer on wifi so I was curious if this would still work.
they have LAN only mode
ya this has to use the Wifi to talk to the other printers on the network, not internet but just your local wifi network. Same way you would manage a Klipper printer, only this does it for you all in one place for multiple bambu printers.
After two days, Panda Touch failed to connect to my P1S, an IP address issue! The Bambu apps never loose connectivity, therefore BigTreeTech needs to do some work to fix this issue!
did you try to change the 2.4Ghz wifi setting to assigned specific address for printer? Sometime default setting will alternate ip address once in a while and that will cause issue similar to you mentioned.
Few downsides are that you must use LAN only mode and no AMS support :/

we will have to see next move of Bambu Lab.
nah...its using their api it looks like. Same way things like home assistant connect to it. Why would they make it and let you use it if they were gonna block all of it?
