Screw having to lock your diffs with a touch screen. Most likely if you can afford a raptor you can afford to install some arb lockers in it just saying 🤔🤔🤔
Keep screen for CarPlay, media buttons, make the colors nice and all. But off-road use and controls need to be simple buttons that don’t require a screen to function. I think the majority would agree.
Everything goes through the same computer..if AT LEAST there were separate computers..even your CEILING LIGHT OR A FLASHER is enough for it to no longer start or for a computer error to cause everything to bug out.

I wouldnt mind if it was even bigger and took over all the buttons. i also love all the tech with the exception if the governed items like radio turning itself down/up depending on how fast you are driving as well as things costing hp and economy. example, i dont like cats or huge mufflers for that matter. trucks should have a little rumble and shouldnt be silent. that kills hp and economy. Many others like that i dont like, but as far as the tech and drive modes go, i like it alot. I could go for an "unleashed mode" that removes all governers and assistance. it could go where the mud, sand, slippery and all that other bs goes. Most caars need this as an option. Im just ranting now... just saying mainly that lots of people do like the tech and i expect these screens will work great 15 or so years.... after that it prob wont matter anyways... I do understand your side and argument though. I can see myself in the distant future wishing my truck was a little less teched out when its time to replace te screen or replace or fix any of the computer issues.. honestly there will prob be an app or some way that will be pretty easy. its under warantee. breathers are only important if it spends a lot of time and long periods under water. a quick river crossing isnt an issue and wont be, unless he turns and decides to go down stream and stay in the water a long time. i get what you are saying though. they just arent necessary with most builds. @@billygames7107 I guess your don't know how diff/trans breathers holes work. Once the diff/trans heat up, the breather ports open and stay open until the diff/trans cool down. So going through water and since they are open water gets in.
yall forget that it’s a ELECTRONIC locking differential. No matter if it’s a touchscreen or a button it’s going through a computer then a motor. A button is no more connected or redundant to the system

This might be a dumb question, why do you need to lock the front and rear diffs when you put it into 4WD? Can you normally just put into 4WD without locking the front/rear differentials?
