I am a PSR-373 user. I watched the video, thank you! Compared to the PSR-373, Yamaha has not become any better by adding buttons to the PSR-383! I don't know about the Nochinka itself, I will compare, for fun. Big bow to the author and thanks for revealing the display defects in the PSR-473! And although he says they were fixed, I took the PSR-373 out of caution! I am happy! Good luck to you!
This is such a great video. The e383 recently became available in South Africa, and i purchased one. This video provides a concise overview of all the important components of the keyboard, in under 15 mins. Thank you 🎉
In the UK some Yamaha dealers are, as of 22nd Sept 2024 retailing the PSR-E383 for £249 though importantly the price of the PSR-EW320 has come right down to just £269. Only £20 more. I have no idea how long that will last or why they have done it. I am tempted to get the 76 key version, having almost purchased a 76 key PSR-EW310 for £229 when it was recently this year being phased out. The thing that puts me off though is the 48 note polyphony and the lack of muting each accompaniment instrument, such as bass, drums, chord etc. We do have six dedicated buttons to do this on the PSR-E473 and PSR-EW425 though those two models are soon due for replacement. (I suspect first 1/4 of 2025). Hopefully Yamaha will retain that useful function that turns those two models in to being almost a stand alone drum machine and a bass machine. Though having to use the 290 pre-sets. (accompaniment styles). Yamaha will blow it if they make it menu/screen based. The more expensive PSR-SX600, 700, 720, 900 and 920 also have that accompaniment mute function though it has to be accessed via the menu using the screen. If someone wanted to mute a part of the accompaniment then change a voice, then mute another part of the accompaniment then change a voice, they would be fiddling around with the menu and screen all day long. With the PSR-E473 and PSR-EW425 the corresponding mute buttons can be easily pressed whilst changing a voice almost at the same time. Far more spontaneous. The Yamaha PSR-E383 and PSR-EW320 are decent enough for what they are. Certainly price and vfm wise. I particularly like the accompaniment section. I do get along with the majority of the 260 auto accompaniment Styles. I find Yamaha compose the arrangement of most of them very well. Even musical genres that I'm usually not too keen on to me do seem pleasant enough to hear. Yamaha do have success in the home keyboard and arranger keyboard section, yes they certainly have got their act together there. In the ranges below the PSR-SX600 they are even these days struggling with the polyphony, even some cheapo £150 Chinese keyboards can have 128 note polyphony. That is where Yamaha are lagging. Hopefully the PSR-E473 and PSR-EW425 replacement get bumped up to 96 note polyphony. Even with just 64 note at present I would be inclined to get one. Paying just that tad bit extra can be a better buy. Even though we may not want to.
Yamaha now add more buttons for PSR E-383 than previous model: PSR PSR E-373. But they forget to add essential buttons for user: dedicated button for intro, ending, Main A/Fill-in A, Main B/Fill-in B, synchro start and synchro start stop.
Thank you for this review! I have the e373 and waiting for something like EW320 but with a pitch wheel and useful buttons like octave shift and intro/outro etc to upgrade, hope Yamaha will make something like that 🙏
Hi. I have E363, and I am new to using a keyboard. So, is there any option to build styles on PSR E363, or is there any place or software to download or build styles for E363? Thank You.
HELLO JEREMY !!! HOPE U DUIN GREAT I WUD LIKE TO KNO ABOUT THIS AUTOCHORD MEANING FOR... DO WE NEED TO PLAY CHORDS WHILE PLAYING A MELODY WITH OUR RIGHT HAND ?? OR LEFT HAND WILL B FREE
Hi! Is the 383 good for an 8 age begginer? I saw the 283 on internet, but I think sensitive keys from 383 are more important to learn. I'm new with this! Thank you from Spain😊
I was wondering if you are willing to help me. I wonder if the sound String that were found when pressing 77 on a PSR-EW310 is to be found on the new EW320 keyboard? I hope it is not a lot to ask for.
Hello sir thank you i like your videos alot it really helps me alot, but can you please do me a video how to play songs from memory card on my casio wk6500 keyboard, thank you
Hey, Jeremy. Recently, I started following your channel and found a lot of great content. Thank you! Today, I just received a brand new Yamaha PSR-EW320, which is a gift for my daughter (and also for myself;-). However, I haven’t purchased a stand yet. The owner manual mentions using the Yamaha L-2C stand. I’m not sure if this keyboard is compatible with any of the widely available double X stands or Z-style stands, such as the Z-style stands from Donner or Liquid Stands. I think that for ideal stability, the top support of the stand should fit perfectly into the grooves on the bottom of the keyboard. However, it seems that the groove length on the bottom of the Yamaha PSR-EW320 is around half the length of the top supports of common stands. So, in short, is the PSR-EW320 (76-keys keyboard) compatible with the common Z-style stands available on the market or not? I’m concerned about the hassle of returning and exchanging if I buy the wrong one. Thanks!
Yamaha should allow PSRE to play intro multiple times rather than only one time. I have a 473 and its ridiculous that you can't intro again because the absurdly limited style controls. A 10 year old Casio allows you to do that. With that said I am waiting for the E483. Yamaha should really set the bar higher for entry level keyboards and stop holding them back too much. There is no excuse for a terrible toyish PSRE keyboard at 2024.
I absolutely agree with you. Yamaha now add more buttons for PSR E-383 than previous model keyboard PSR PSR E-373. But they forget to add essential buttons for user: dedicated button for intro, ending, Main A/Fill-in A, Main B/Fill-in B, synchro start and synchro start stop.
Try and find a Rock Jam RJ 761 owner….. I’m sure they would be delighted to give it to you …. It would save the owner some time taking it to the rubbish tip and / or the recycling center. 👍

Glad I could help you choose a great keyboard!

Yes!!! Totally agree
It's almost like the Yamaha PSR e473
Except without the awesome mic input, which is great if you sing.
@@ShellyAnderson0624 I use it to plug my guitar in.
Hi Jeremy! I am taking free piano lessons & I cannot afford to buy a keyboard. Do you ever give away keyboards.
