I have an e-373 for my gig. Love it so much i bought the 76 key version, the ew-310 for my studio. Then i bought a e-373 for my daughter to learn on. The piano sound is impeccable, especially in stereo.
I can now play over 100 hymns on this fabulous machine. I dont even read music! i play with two hands, two notes with each hand, and have an over 90% correct note flowrate. my hubby always knows immediately what song im playing, and thats impressive bc hes used to only professional level piano, as his mom taught top level piano lessons for decades. I LOVE this machine, I got it used, but it was never used bc the lady also couldnt read music, came with a stand and i bought a little padded bench and made a cover for it. unavailable in any store i looked at, in person or online. I LOVE MINE!!
Sounds like a fun instrument. I just bought the same model. I understand this is an entry level keyboard and a good one at that, But it will do until I save up for a full 88 key midi workstation. That's my goal. Hopefully the price will not go up much or they stop making it in the meantime. I'm an absolute beginner. No nothing about piano or any instrument. I am looking forward to the challenge I am facing to learn to play piano. I'm retired and have a lot of time to learn. I'm 66 now. Maybe in 5 years I will be able to play fairly well. That's my goal. Just be able to play any music I want. I'm doing this for me. I can lie, I would like to share the music just for the pleasure. Kind of like celebrating my future hard work. Wish me luck😊
Man, as much as I wanted to have the PSR-E373 as my new keyboard I just went ahead and had the CT-S400 as an alternative, the only problem I would have for the E373 is it's size, it's depth is just to big for my set up, tho I hope Yamaha would develope a slimmer keyboard in the future too
this is a great instrument but buying it from the yamaha music london store was a disaster. their website said it was in stock but when we arrived in the store it was not available at all. so we ordered a delivery but the ups driver just left it in front of the door, did not even bother to knock/ring the bell and left. we were waiting for the delivery as arranged. fortunately we found it (and its accessories in separate parcels) before thieves did. its really hard to understand that the great Yamaha folks develop such a great product, get it all over the planet from china to england but then cannot hire staff competent enough to update their website properly or at least deliver the product in a reasonable manner.
I watched this for one reason .... to find out how to use the smart chord option with one finger to get a whole chord and to add the rhythm at the same time. I need this option to teach beginners how to play songs and to help them understand chord grouping. I want to make a children's church amateur band for fun, with easy instruments. Do you have this information on another video?
Jeremy See rates Casio CT-X700 best value for money, and Yamaha PSR-E273 best for sound and features. See his helpful TH-cam reviews. I have just ordered the Yamaha PSR-E273.
Can you remove or mute sounds that are unwanted from the song play by muteing a certain channel ? I have an old Yamaha PSR 550 where each channel can be muted.
Thanks for this video one more time. I wonder what's the meaning of the #3 sound piano called "Brite Piano" is it a Bright Piano or Bright Lite Piano? What does "Brite Piano" stand for?
On the PSR EW310 how came say for instance I play Brit Rock under style with accompanment on. I cant get an A, All it does is give me Am. I cant seem to get just a regular A Chord. Thanks
Dear ... firstly I want to say thank you for all sharing about piano... nearly 20 days ... I watch your videos... I write from Turkey ..I want to buy starting keyboard for compose working.. I play Guitar but a lot of time ı want to start piano and keyboard... ı checked a lot of video at your channel.. I need your advise.. If you help me to selection correct keyboard , I will be happy... Roland EX 50 , Korg EK 50 , Yamaha psr 373 or psr 473... I will not use it at consert
good day ! I would like to inquire, this type is good for a start, it can be a good choice, this is the yamaha psr E 373 ???! korg ek 50, another type I like, Roland bk3! Yamaha sounds better! what do you teach? Does this Yamaha handle midi and MP3, Waw files?! Learning function ?? Has??? Yamaha psr E 373?? does it have a microphone connection? greetings, Joseph Hungary 🇭🇺
Want to buy a keyboard but stuck between the E373 and the EZ-300. On paper both look the same with the EZ-300 having additional learning features. Can someone please confirm this to be true.
Great demo, thank you. Someone who actually plays music to demo the sounds, rhythms, as they explain the different functions. Not such a difficult concept for a "demo." (one would think.) Way too many demo videos with idiots playing each sound from the bottom note to the top. Or shuffling through the rhythms one at a time, and not playing anything. Useless uploads that should be monitored and taken down. I guess Ytube is a platform where morons can feel important and knowledgeable, but it's a waste of everyone's time, and it's damn annoying. Refreshing to see an intelligent, informative upload.
This is the video that makes me the most excited for my E373! Can"t wait to get it delivered! Great video, you show it with such passion!
Did u buy if so do you recommend it?
how did it go? how good is it?
SAME MAN my friend has one and it's very high quality compared to my Kawai FS2000 and that's why I wanted it badly

I'm just curious but what do you do run it through a PA? The Yamaha doesn't have any outputs though does it?
@williamlanier9 I plug a splitter into the head phone jack. Then left goes into one rumble amp and the right goes into another.

I just got one of these today; wanting better sound quality that my previous PK. the arpeggio 264 voice completely SOLD ME!! I feel like such a DIVA!!
I thought there was a dude sitting behind him with the same expression for the entire video 😂
🤦♂️
and i didn't realize it was only a poster until you mentioned it.. ahaha
Get off drugs
Lmao
What is the brand of your liquor 😂
You're a great presenter, Sir. Thank you, Barry. 🌹🌹🌹🌹
Brilliant Barry - I've just ordered after viewing your brilliant video ( I'm a complete and utter novice now retired wanting to learn )
This keyboard is amazing. This would have probably been worth thousands of $ back when I grew up. Sure beats the Acrosonic I grew up with!
I am expecting mine in two days to come, I thank God 🙌🏾
I think to use it professionally it only needed a. left/right stereo connection for a louder sound. It's sold as beginner keyboard.

This was such a great demo, I'm a beginner looking to buy my first piano to play around with and learn. Trying to get one of these currently used.

My dream keyboard I will buy in 2024 🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤❤
That one where he said..."..You'll know this one"...I didn't know that one!!...
Barry, you Rock!

I just cant decide 373 or 400. What i can easily hear and that is annoying, yamaha seems to have noisy touch sound on white keys.

Amazing presentation!

Awesome, I'm getting mine in a few days. Thanks for the demo
Great Tutorial. I enjoyed the demo.
Thank you for sharing this video ❤️

@@HelloHello-zv6qb i own a Yamaha e383 since almost 1 year now and its great. It has a great Sound.
Oops! I meant PSR-E373. The 273 not recommended.
I tried one of these but was not impressed after having a Tyros. I decided to get a Genos2. More variations.
That's like saying "having a Lamborghini is better than a Toyota".
Nice sounds..ill buy this model

Does this keyboard have weighted keys? like a piano feel?
It doesn’t have weighted keys, it just has touch sensitivity.
Now thats how you sell products

yes it also has beginner tutorials and lessons + chord display on front led. so its perfect if ur a beginner

Wow this is crazy piano 😅❤
Does it link to an amplifier?
Hello, All products have at least a headphone socket, so you can use at least this to connect to an amp if you want to. Kindest regards Graham
Please can any one tell me ,which was the song when player Guitar
Classical Gas
Legend, take my money :)
Are you running through the keyboard speakers?
I split the signal from the headphones jack and run into 2 rumble amps
You are the best 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
NO SUPPORT FOR LINUX !
Only MS Widower is supported.

It IS cheesy but for a portable rehearsal keyboard and $199 are you expecting a Steinway?
