Another great one! This one is timely, as I just learned to rope climb a few months ago. On a different note, I first came across your channel some years ago when I was looking up double under tutorials. Had no idea who you were at the time, just that your tips (ex. imagine a string being pulled from your head when jumping) and way of explaining things resonated and worked. Many of your videos have since have helped. Sorry for the kiss-ass post, but thought you might appreciate the positive feedback. Thanks for putting your tutorials out there! I think they're among the best, if not THE best.
Will accept this "kiss-ass" post any time! LOL! That means a lot seriously and makes me want to keep doing them. I have so much fun doing them, so when I hear that they are helping a lot of you guys out there it gets me extra excited. That double under video cracks me up because so many people thought I was crazy when explaining that cue... which isn't wrong! Is there something you want to see next?
@@rebecca-fuselier Thank you! You have covered so much already, including what I'm currently working on (HSPU, bar muscle ups) and I'm putting your videos to good use! FWIW, what I liked about this video in particular is that you covered something most videos don't. There are so many how-to-rope-climb videos out there already but none that I have seen have gone over different descents. Makes it stand out while being really helpful. Thanks for all you do!
How would you use the third (fire pole) technique with a regular rope climb? Are you switching your foot grip at the top or just widening your feet and letting go? 😅
That's exactly right. You'd hang on and change your feet to slide on down! Sometimes I'll do that and other I might just inchworm it down. It depend on what I'm feeling
And make sure you don't forget and accidentally do your climbs in your good running shoes! I ground an awesome rope shaped groove in the side of my Brooks the other day. Oops 😬🤫

Do you have a video that talks about fixing lats for thrusters?

YOOOO!!!! I've seen some shoes get shredded by the ropes before. It crazyyyyyyy!
I just let gravity do most of the work😂 Let go and pray you catch yourself
This is another strategy...
