Woohoo!! Taj, Chevy and Elvira have finally arrived.. They are now happily homed in my sewing studio here in Australia. Thanks Angela they are fabulous.
My fabric stash is starting to take over the house! There are just so many beautiful fabrics, I can’t control myself! Have tried free motion quilting on a very small scale, but not been very successful. Unlike you, my favorite part of quilting is piecing the top; choosing the pattern, fabric and colors. Will continue to practice FMQ, to see if I can improve. Thanks for all the wonderful videos. Love your fun approach to quilting.
Dear Angela Walters, it's me, I purchased this quilt kit on July 5th after watching your tutorial. Tonight half a year later I have opened the package and begun- I just completed cutting the first piece of material by using the NASA Engineer cutting schematic - phew.... I'm on my way - yeah I think I need some of that "quilting juice" 😅 just wanted you to know so that someone in the world understands my current state😆 yours truly, Kristen
This quilt is gorgeous. I'd take this quilt as it is and keep it for myself. And that quilting !!! I really have to start getting into it and try it out, instead of only watching your videos and tutorials. :)
i love fabric. I have a stash more of fabric than threads. I love Tula’s fabric and how she has organize it. I’m new to quilting so I don’t have a stash of threads. I think when I do it more that I will have a stash of threads. I like that under pressure you able to quilt Tula’s quilt top. Again love watching both your shows.
I am not a quilter, but I do have my own stash. I crochet and I have a stash of yarn that I absolutely love. My friends call it my basement yarn market! I have really enjoyed this little show and quilting (although I haven't any experience with it), is on my crafty bucket list. This show has inspired me to consider getting going sooner than I thought I might. Thank you for all the Midnight fun!
I made myself promise that before I start another quilt I have to finish the quilt tops that are waiting. But this one broke my will. I have never bought a kit before, so it's even more exciting. It will be here between 3 to 5 days. :)
Hi, Angela. Thank God. I just ordered my Pathfinder quilt kit from blueprint with the lily and loom fabric. HALF OFF thanks to Cloe! I sew needed this show!
I was LITERALLY digging through all MSQ playlists last night trying to find one I hadn’t seen before! This is the perfect timing! Love seeing you back, Angela!!!
Love the big graphics and smart cutting. I'm a fabric "curator" while I learn to quilt like the Midnight Quilter ;-) Expect to be a thread curator too! Thanks for the show!
I plead guilty to bing a fabricologist! Started my "collection" when living full time at my mountain cabin. Now that I live in a larger city, I often want a certain flavor of fabric and don't want to wait for a trip to my cabin. So I now have quite a precut collection at home. There's probably a self help group I could join, but am happy with my guilds who support my addictions. Happy quilting.
I'm definitely a fabric collector (though I only have a baby stash because I'm very new to sewing/quilting) but I definitely feel like I'll love thread more once I'm skilled enough to get really creative with the machine quilting.
I am a fabric collector. I have 3 bookcases full of just Batiks and a walk-in closet full of all my other fabrics. But I really love Panels so I collect A lot of them!!
I love fabric. As a matter of fact, I traveled all day to go to QIMT and bought some Ombre confetti fabric from you! I have your black QIMT bag hanging on my wall of my sewing room!
I was hoping for some good old red, white, and blue quilting today. Happy Independence Day! 🇺🇸 I love designs with no waste. I'm currently working on designing one myself. As others have noted, please include a shot of the backs of your quilts in the future. We'd love to see them!
Gorgeous!! I hoard both Tula fabric (ok some others too lol), AND thread, so guilty on both counts, ROFL. I LOVE that this pattern uses ALL of a fat quarter. I wish there were more patterns like this. Maybe there are and I am just not aware of them. lol. Another awesome tutorial, thank you, Angela!
Saw Tula Pink’s collection and it’s quite impressive. She lives about 10 minutes south of where I’m from! I don’t have a stash at all! I live overseas where quilting fabric is scarce so I just order what I need for the project I’m working on. When we come back to the states I imagine I’ll do some splurging!
I love collecting fabric and have a huge stash, but recently, since I started free motion quilting with Angela, my thread stash is building and may soon catch up to or even surpass the fabric. So, I guess I'm a huge fan of collection both. Thank you, Angela, for all the inspiration and free videos.
Hi Angela! I am a fabric collector. I choose my threads as I complete my top. My “go to” thread color is a touch of blue from isachord but it certainly isn’t the only color in my thread arsenal. My current quilt has 5 different hues of purple and two hues of blue. I’m really enjoying the adventure in colors. Quilting the quilt layers is by far my favorite part of the process, but collecting fabric comes in at a close second! I’m trying desperately to use more of my stash and buy less. If I just keep myself busy enough I won’t have time to shop🤔. Well, in theory. 😬 Happy 4th of July! Thanks for all that you share! 🎉🇺🇸
Mainly a fabric hoarder here but I seem to be collecting a lot of thread recently ... oops. Also I loved seeing Tula’s “stash” it was so beautiful and unique
I hoard both! Whenever an intriguing thread line comes out, I tend to buy it in bulk. I love variegated threads.... which are challenging because you need to carefully chose the bobbin thread. My latest fave is Microquilter by Superior Threads. I've been collecting a bunch of Tula Pink, Kaffe Fassett and aboriginals looking for projects.... I'm also addicted to Jinny Beyer BOM's and working on The Quilt Show BOM concurrently. I need to get back to FMQ because I have so many quilt tops stashed up!!!
Neither a fabric or thread hoarder. But, I have a yarn stash to rival a small knitting shop 😝. Love this modern quilt! So many opportunities to experiment with different quilting designs.
Sadly, I can’t collect either. I’m 17, and broke. I love Love Love fabric, but can’t afford to buy it. My machine also can’t do free motion quilting, so I can’t do all of those beautiful designs that you do. Love watching your videos while I sew!! Hopefully some day I’ll be able to create beautiful quilts like yours!!
Omggg me too! All the colors and different patterns in the world, with no tools to complete them. Lol. So in the mean time I'll stick to watching her videos.
I love 💘too collect fabric when I go to shop's and quilt shows the first place I go to is were the fatquarters are and look for cat 🐱 fabric and Halloween fabric first then what ever strike me to buy it and take it to it's new house .👍👍👍xoxox
Love this video! I have a huge fabric stash (probably nowhere near Tula's), but alsO have a significant thread stash - some Superior and King Tut, lots and lots and lots of Aurifil (my very favorite piecing and quilting thread), lots of Isacord (does beautiful FMQ), and some Glide 40 wt, but looking forward to trying that 1 spool of 60 wt i acquired. and a dozen spools of 100 wt silk. And of course some poly thread for regular sewing and mending (it is old thread since I don't do much of that). I think I am technically a hoarder or both! And we won't mention the book shelves filled with yarn since I started knitting too... Yes, my name is Julie, and I am a fiber-holic.
Really pretty - me I am fabric hoarder but thread comes in a close second . Had your classes going while I finished quilting a baby quilt last night - keep me on track - not good but at least I keep trying
Why use fat quarters you already have when you can BUY NEW ONES?! YAY!!! PS: Tula Pink's house is IN-FLIPPING-CREDIBLE. She has the most gorgeous home, and her wall of quilts and fabrics was overwhelming... I wanted to cry because of the sheer beauty!
This is Nerve racking! I am trying to do this with the pattern and screen shots on my phone. I feel like I am messing it all up! And, OK, it's my first quilt but it's for my daughter and I want it to be beautiful! Oh My Gosh!
Angela, this is a beautiful quilt and I always love watching you quilt. I'm wondering how you baste the quilts that you use in the Midnight Quilt Show. Are they spray basted? Or is it fusible batting? ...As for your question, I think my collection of fabrics is still a little bit ahead of my collection of threads, but the threads are catching up! And now I'm off to watch the Tula Pink episode!
I miss the Midnight Quilt Show so much!!!!
I love watching the midnight quilt show. Angela, you are very personable. Ok, don't tell the hubby, but, I have stashes of material and thread.
Woohoo!! Taj, Chevy and Elvira have finally arrived.. They are now happily homed in my sewing studio here in Australia. Thanks Angela they are fabulous.
I think I found my next project...love this quilt!!!

My favourite candy shop is full of fabric and a splendid array of threads💕
i love fabric. I have a stash more of fabric than threads. I love Tula’s fabric and how she has organize it. I’m new to quilting so I don’t have a stash of threads. Beautiful, it almost looks like an Indian blanket. Loving your colors.
I love fabric! I’m not ashamed to admit it! I do have a lot of thread too, but fabric is where I have my stash ❤️
I am not a quilter, but I do have my own stash. I crochet and I have a stash of yarn that I absolutely love. My friends call it my basement yarn market! I wish I could make ALL the quilts from your tutorials, but this one is definitely a MUST. Love your shows! Thanks so much.

MQS (I know how letters work lol)
This was a cool quilt the design is easy but looks difficult. I like it
I'm a fabric collector. I don't yet know enough about machine quilting my own quilts. Hopefully someday! Love this pattern! It looks very intricate
I am definitely a fabric collector! Wonderful eye candy :)
Love the big graphics and smart cutting. I'm a fabric "curator" while I learn to quilt like the Midnight Quilter ;-) Expect to be a thread curator too! Thanks for the show!
Lovely colours and pattern xxx

It reminds me of a Pendleton blanket. I love it.

Looks great. Applause to you for the FMQing
Great video as usual, love the way your points don't always match. It makes me feel better when mine don't ;-))
VERY cool! Always bright cheerful colors you use. Can you do some Macho , manly man, cowboy, construction worker , leather (no lace) quilts?
Great show! I hoard...curate thread and fabric!
Love the colors, the layout, you are awesome. I love to shop threads and fabrics. Can't wait to get started.
eeeeek! just ordered this quilt kit - can't wait!
I’m a hoarder, ooops, curator of both!! I have to have thread to match the fabrics, it’s a must that I have several options 😂😂😍😊💖
Oh I am a collector of both fabric and thread! Lots and lots of colors.....I also have an embroidery machines so I need options😉❤️
So pretty!! I like threads too not a hoarder just a collector. Thanks for video!
Watched all the episodes. Tulas quilts are amazing and her stash is too!
I love collecting fabric and have a huge stash, but recently, since I started free motion quilting with Angela, my thread stash is building and may soon catch up to or even surpass the fabric. So, I guess I'm a huge fan of collection both. Thank you, Angela, for all the inspiration and free videos.
Beautiful quilt Angela! As soon as my leg heals and I can walk again from my blood clot surgery' I will make one of your quilts.
Very pretty. I think I collect it all. Haha.
You look so tanned!!! Love the quilt, I’m building my threat collection little by little
Hi Angela, great video, love them all. I think this would be a great one for FMQ challenges. Thank you for all that you do.
Love your work Angela keep up the great job and the 🍷
Oh I'm definitely a fabric hoarder!! I even save the selvage for a " someday project".
I love it!
Enjoed this video!

Thank you for another awesome quilt patter. I love fabric. My stash is on book cases.
I've never selected thread like you. And I LOVE thread too. So thank you for the tip. Love your videos!
Beautiful!!!! Thank you
This quilt is so brilliant! I love the idea of designing with no waste (or as little as possible) thinking if I can apply to some clothes 😜
Fantastic layout, so colorful and, as always, your quilting is what really makes it pop. I’m more of a fabric hoarder, no shame here. ☺️
I hoard both! Whenever an intriguing thread line comes out, I tend to buy it in bulk. I love variegated threads.... which are challenging because you need to carefully chose the bobbin thread. Definitely a fabric lover/curator/addict.

BEAUTIFUL TUTORIAL. THANK YOU. LIKE😀👍👍👍👍💕💕
I'm a fabric Horder for sure.
Definitely a fabric hoarder but I get new thread for like every project so I’ve got a decent thread stash as well
This is a great idea and I will be starting it soon. Could you do a vintage looking dark blue and white quilt I love them
I'm a bit of a hoarder for both fabric and thread!

Dawn Mason You stole my comment! I agree with everything you said cuz I was going to say the same thing. 😄
L8Dawn Mason m
Great minds think alike lol
I wish I had seen your post, I said the same thing.
Yasss! I thought of Pendeltons
I’m more of a thread stasher but I’ve got a great fabric stash too.
You are so pretty😍
oh I really like this! Is there a diagram of all the quilting? Off to see Tula's stash...
love cutting fat quarter with no waste
Fabric collector. However I love free motion quilting so I am starting to collect thread
Love fabric and I also have an addiction to variegated threads.....it to hard to choose between them.
Please teach us how to free motion a big quilt like that on that sewing machine you have we would appreciate it
Angela, this is a beautiful quilt and I always love watching you quilt. I'm wondering how you baste the quilts that you use in the Midnight Quilt Show. Are they spray basted?
