What a beautiful quilt design! It's such a modern take on simple blocks. The colors really make it stunning. Thanks to both you, Angela, and to Chloe, too! See you again soon!
What a pretty quilt! And hugs to Cloe for her wonderful math skills and helping Mom! The quilting is just great on this too. A very unique quilt. Thanks Angela! Enjoy your break, you deserve it! I know all of us will anxiously be waiting for your return and more fun again. Take care and many hugs to you.....Claudia
You just helped her see how the math that she is learning is part of real life. You provided the real world example many kids need to see why the not so interesting math is important to learn.
The time and energy you put into all your quilts it’s no wonder all are amazing! So glad you are designing such modern patterns, I want to make one of your quilts for my daughter who is your age plus so many of your designs go so well with the farmhouse look. Win-win! Any shades of grays, blues, etc. perfect! Thanks, xoxo
Oh, how I am going to miss your "midnight quilt show" videos. Have a great time off and with your family. You probably need the break although we will ALL miss you so much!!! Looking forward to more videos when you get back, my "fellow" wine drinker and popcorn eater!!!
You make quilting fun. I absolutely love the colors in this quilt and the fact that you so make this look like something I could do. Your voice is so pleasant to listen to and you don't drag on and on and on like some do. Keep posting, you inspire me to push myself.
Wonderful quilt. Enjoy your break. I think I will make this one next but make it King sized for my son and his wife. I bought some lovely Shannon yesterday. Thanks for all your hard work and cheerful teaching.
Thank you for going over how to just hide and move on from less than perfect piecing. It's so easy to be critical of your own work when you are first starting and comparing to those with decades of experience... I'm thankful for designers who remind us to just have fun and create. :)
I have been saving 2 jelly rolls to make my daughter a quilt. I was looking for the perfect pattern and I think you just gave it to me! Love this pattern! Thank you!
I really like this quilt - the pattern and the fabric choice. I love that it uses only 1 jelly roll. I think I will be putting this one on my list (I have already downloaded it). Perhaps I will start this one when my littlest starts preschool in the fall - I think this quilt will need 100% focus.
Thank Cloe for the beautiful math!! I am a math lover, and when I hear about girls being good at it, it makes my heart happy! I suppose I _should_ thank Angela, too, for her gorgeous pattern and beautiful quilting... Really loved this quilt!
PS - I hope I spelled her name correctly! I can't recall where I saw it spelled this way, but I hope it's correct (if not, let me know and I'll edit it and pretend I knew all along!).
Angela, this totally made my day!!! I so appreciate all you do for us! This show has completely changed my quilting - it has made me a much happier, saner quilter. Your humor and engagement draw us all in; beyond that, you're such an excellent teacher, and a crazy-amazing quilter! Thank you for taking the time to not only read my silly comments, but to respond. I hope your break is luxuriously restful!
Love this pattern! Quilting in negative space is intimidating but extending the rows makes it look do-able!! Thank you so much for all your hard work with these patterns and videos. We appreciate it so much! Enjoy time off with your family :)
Wow! Love the jelly roll colors, the piecing designs, the quilting pattern choices you quilted and the dynamics how the angles interact between the stripes and squares❣️‼️👍. Matching the seams looked challenging ( not one of my strengths) ...it would take me much longer to get that done LOL! I prefer piecing to quilting, but your tutorials have me encouraged ~ the designs you quilted are relaxing and fun. The parameters the strip piecing creates for quilting the designs really flowed. Looking forward to incorporating that with other geometric themes too. Kudos to you and Cloe for a successful collaboration with the geometry!! Impressive and so cool Cloe is into math ~ gotta luv it 📐. Perhaps there will be future collaborations, just imagine with your talents what fantastic designs you’d create 🤔💜. Thank you for all the time and effort you devote to share your knowledge with everyone. Keeping your family in my 🙏🏻 s.
I really like that design. I can see how to use those stripy blocks in a total different way. and, even better, I don't have to do the math !! Thank you Angela
I am so glad Cloe helped you with the math... not my favorite, either. I am more of an advanced beginner - but willing to have a go at this one. Looks like a fun project! Thank you so much for your encouraging videos, they give me a little push when I get stuck on my current projects. :D
Wonderful quilt AGAIN! You are amazing. Thank you for sharing your talent so generously. I don’t know the story about your husband but I will pray for peace, health and restoration. God Bless.
Love it! Think that I might just give it a try. After I finish a couple of other quilts I'm doing. Thank you so much for all you do. You are amazing lady.
I have that exact jelly roll. I think I want to make the quilt as well. Thank you for all your work developing the pattern, and especially for giving it to us...and the quilting designs. Can’t wait to start.
This is great! Thanks for the extra effort in doing the math and figuring out how it all goes together. Sending all the best wishes to you and your family, and we look forward to seeing you back.
Thank you so much Angela, that quilt is really really stunning and gorgeous.....I’m going to download the pattern, for just in case I get the time to make it.....xxx Mags
Currently making this in a print color way, it looks amazing so far...one discrepancy (actually 3) in the pattern...see photo. Just an FYI and it may have been corrected already. Well I can’t figure out how to attach a photo atm, but the “V” blocks are all supposed to point inward, but the pattern shows 3 of the 4 pointing outward. Regardless its easy to figure out and all I have left to do is piece all the blocks together! I love this pattern! Thanks so much Angela!
Wow this one is quilted brilliantly, I love the pattern but you have out done yourself with the quilting this time. Thinking of you and your family, sending positive thoughts and energy for the 20th ❤️❤️❤️
SOOOO pretty! I'm thinking how gorgeous it would be with my vast assortment of purple fabrics I have laying around! This might be a summer project for me! :-)
Just found you and can't wait to start this quilt. How is your husband? Will be praying for the whole family. Blessings to you as you have blessed others.
Well done. I could never have figured those angles out on my own. Thank you for that amazing bit of mathmatical patchwork. And as always your quilting is superb.
Love the pattern and the colors. Thanks for sharing the pattern. Enjoy your time away and looking forward to your return. I watch you quilt and I do some practicing but have only quilted one so far, nothing elaborate, mostly straight lines. I need a bit more practice and watching you do it before I will let myself loose on a pretty quilt.
I really enjoy your approach to the construction and design plus your amazing quilting!! On one show you said you had music playing in the background while you quilt, well, I have you playing, so I don't feel so bad about occassionally unseeing!!! Have a great time off and looking forward to the new season!
Hi Angela. Love your show. If you fold your 2"strip sets in half RST and divided your length needed (18.25) by 2 and then made one cut at 45 degrees you eliminate the risk of making an error. It's the same technique used when you make mitred borders by measuring exact length needed.
That's a great idea, although it could be difficult to get an accurate measurement of 9 1/8" (half of 18.25) on rulers and mats that may not go down to the 1/8" marking...
Good thing you didn’t drink your wine ‘while’ making this beachy quilt! I’m working on other projects right now but would definitely have a go at it. Great job, enjoy! 🍷
Love the psttern. I will definitely be giving this a try. My granddaughter lives it and she wants one done in pinks! ! Girls. Gotta love them. I may make this a project to do together with her.
You do such a great job with teaching us and adding humor. I loved your math humor. Not sure if I'll tackle this one - maybe someday. It's a great quilt though.
Angela I'm from Wellsville Kansas, love your show. Your perfect at this. This quilt is beautiful. I have never used a pattern yet. I design my own. However I believe I will need to this one. Thank you for saving us so much work. Best wishes
My goodness. . thanks for the pattern. .this may need some extra material bought. I see myself cutting something wrong. . thanks for the challenge. .Hope you can enjoy your time off!.I'm off to Paducah, Ky Saturday

Enjoy your much deserved little break. How did you know that I would be sad? So many of us enjoy your videos. Keep it up!
You make quilting fun. I absolutely love the colors in this quilt and the fact that you so make this look like something I could do. Your voice is so pleasant to listen to and you don't drag on and on and on like some do. Keep posting, you inspire me to push myself.
OMG! That was amazing. That is what I call quilting like a PRO. God job. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

It looks like a lot of fun & will be so different
It's a stunning quilt design! Thank you and your daughter for doing all the math and instructions. God bless! Have a wonderful break!
Definitely will make this quilt and try the quilting that you've been teaching. Thank you for designing this pattern for us and then making it free!
Thanks for sharing the uses of the mystery lines on the ruler. Specifics are the hard parts to learn from skilled artisans.

Very nice design! I like it enough to tackle it, but not right away. I am glad you got all the math worked out.
This is going to be a personally challenging quilt pattern, but worth it (and all your hard work designing it).
I love the different blocks in the quilt. Thanks for doing all that math!
I love the colors of this quilt and the 36 patch blocks, that looks like a lot of fun! I'd love to see you do a watermelon quilt!
Enjoy your break. This quilt looks great and I am enjoying watching your shows and reading your books.
Stunning.!!! Ima tackle after my cast comes off in 12 weeks. Love it Angela. 💕💞💗💓💞😍

I am just learning to quilt and enjoy your show.
I love watching you create and sew you quilts> you are so much fun.

Beautiful! I love this quilt pattern. I’m a beginner quilter, just working on my second one. I try try this one some day🤗 Thank you!
