I have an 06. ABS fault came on after replacing sensors. The sensors was not the issue it was the bearing located in the hub. The hub and sensor come in a comb, it’s not worth just buying the sensors. After replacing the hub and taking the truck for a ride the ABS Fault light came off.
I have the same issue on my 2006 it comes on and off and it last a couple days or so. You will still have brakes except you won't have control braking so if you step on the brakes too hard your wheels could or will lock up, the ABS is for control braking so your wheels don't lock up and go into a skid. The ABS pumps your brakes evenly to all four wheels the way to fix that is you have to either clean the sensors or replace them. I haven't gotten around to do it but there are videos on TH-cam that shows you more detail check them out. How to fix the ABS brakes sensors on 2007 Chevy Colorado.
Is it alright to still drive until I can get it fixed, my warning lights came on all at once before I put my truck in gear and it had never happened before
Check and see if your sensors are connected I had to replace my rotors and brakes and I left my 05 on idle so my oil could cycle the next day the light was off

I changed the hubs and abs light still on any suggestions
Shut your truck off put key to on don’t start hit gas peddle 3 times then start truck put it in drive and roll

Replace your faulty abs sensors. I have it on my 2005, fault code says both front abs sensors are bad
