I can relate to ALL of this! Please continue to share your journey. For me, music and writing are helpful tools in rebuilding after a setback. I hope you know that I consider you my friend. If you ever need to talk to someone removed from the situation. I am happy to listen!¹

Music is definitely my top go to for almost anything in life, it expresses everything I'm unable to. Thank you for the continuous support and happy to know you're available to listen 😊

I actually relate a lot. Granted I don't live abroad so it's easier? to access my support system. But the feeling of running away and the fear of continuing a cycle.... It's very real. Hope to keep hearing from you!

@@Will_ly it truly do be like that!! I like to think of it like seasons-- it's not forever, but it can take a while for the weather to change.

I’ve been journaling a a lot recently as well! I’ve had a lot of similar feelings and writing about them certainly helps me to get them out of my head.
I love what you said about wanting to be someone who is growing. I think that is very important.
I love seeing your videos and getting updates on your life and all the things you’re up to. I hope you keep making them and I hope you know there are people back home who are listening and wishing you the best!
I hope the new year brings you another year of growth and happiness! Keep being awesome Will!

Yes something about writing out your thoughts is extremely therapeutic so I'm glad we are both doing that now too!
Actually really comforting to know that people back home are still supporting me. Thanks for the support Alex, wishing you the best as well as the new year approaches 😊

Thank you for your courage in sharing your story - and the feelings you're experiencing while facing Life. So many people face similar worries and challenges. Your sharing holds value.
Keep living life on your own terms. Be clear about what you want for your future. Then be fully present to the moments every day - and leave tomorrow to unfold on its own. You might be pleasantly surprised at the amazing things that will come your way, naturally.

Thank you for listening! I’ll try to remember to keep myself open to my surroundings as to not miss the good things that come naturally 😊

I think it's always ok if you feel that you are running away from your problems. It's pretty normal, don't feel bad about it.🤗

Hi Will! I've heard people describe themselves as "works in progress" and I think this can be a useful image to have in mind. It's human nature to focus on the negatives, all the bad things and what isn't going right. As an outsider, I'd say you have a lot to be proud of. I hope your community on TH-cam is also a bit of a safe space for you (to use the term that you used in the podcast). Greetings from Australia. 😊

You'll move on. The first breakup in Korea is always hard. Once you establish your own stable life in Korea with work, hobbies, and friends., It wont be as hard. Youre young. Meet other girls when youre ready. Enjoy your youth. Wishing you the best.

You need to stop running. (Sorry for being so blunt)
Just put your heartbreak aside for a moment and think about how happy you are as a teacher and with your life outside of what your relationship brought to you. Do you enjoy teaching? Do you like working where you are? Do you think going home or to another country is the right thing for you, or do you feel that you're going to lose more than you would gain?
It's hard but you need to separate your emotions from your decisions about your future.
Bottling stuff up makes it fester and it infects other parts of your life, you're doing the right thing letting it out.
You will heal, there will be scars, but that isn't a bad thing; they're called lessons. The more you learn about yourself, your life, and the way you need to deal with things, the easier it gets. It takes time, just be patient.
