From Anker's website regarding this charging stand and power bank: "Note: If your Anker Prime Power Bank is fully drained, charge it through the USB-C port until it reaches at least 1%. After that, you can use the magnetic base to wirelessly charge the power bank." This isn't a malfunction, but an intended result of the equipment design specifications.
Ahhh you're a saviour 🎉 I thought mine came broken. It would't do anything when on top of the base, but when i plugged it it worked, is charging now. Haven't tried the base yet.
Nice power bank. I have one the same shape from Temu that didn't come with a charger. It's at 86 percent but need to order the USB charger cable. Nice power bank I'm going to order one. I got mine to mount to my electric bike to power the accessories that way my lights doesn't drain my bike motor. Thank you for the how to video. 👍
I am having the same issue. I unplugged the base and waited five minutes. Then I plugged the base back in, and the ring blinked faster than usual. I am now trying to drain the battery to see if it will start charging again wirelessly.
I just got my power bank with the charging dock. Literally just delivered this morning. It’s been plugged in and on the dock for about 30 min now and nothing. For how expensive this thing is, it should work without issue. Especially how common this seems to be.
Hello I think when they are shipped you need to start the Charing using the supplied usb c cable until it’s for some charge in it, then charge it from the base. I’ve found if the power bank is totally drained it does not charge from the docking station and you need to plug the cable in to start it off. However my fix for this is to only drain the power bank down to 1% then you know it will charge from the base fine.
Hey yall, if your base suddenly stopped charging, try plugging a usb C cable in one of the ports of the base and you should see the base light up. Wait a minute, unplug the usb c cable, then use the standard base cable again and it should work again. No idea why this happened, but mine is working again!

This really helped me, thanks!

Thank you for this video!! I swore I just got a dead device but I guess the brick needed a tad bit of power to register it can be charged?
Thabk you so much didnt think of this but after plugging it into the base for about 20 seconds it came alive

Youre my hero cheers 🥂
How you fixed it would have been nice.
My anker prime 12k 130w stop charging after 10 or 15 minuts nede to reconect to base. After willl charge to 100% . For 100% nede to reconect 2x .
Are you keeping the gold connectors clean !
Yes, I’ve not needed to clean then with alcohol yet, the docking station stays covered over when not charging a power bank.
My base came today, a used but good from Amazon. Well it flashed for 3 seconds then no power to the power bank. Returning asap. Disappointed 😞
Hello sorry to hear that, you might find buying from Anker site on eBay as they do refurnished items.
My power bank is at 35% but will not charge through the pins on the base station!
How do you solve the problem?
My base just pulses and that’s it. Is the base bad or the input cable?
The light on the base does pulse when you are charging. When there is nothing connected the light should not flash.
What was the point of posting this video?
