  • Carriage Without a Driver from Philip Glass' score to the classic 1931 Universal monster film Dracula.
"Renfield is driven to the castle by Dracula's coach, with Dracula disguised as the driver. En route, Renfield sticks his head out the window to ask the driver to slow down but sees the driver has disappeared; a bat leads the horses."

Stuff like that is a lot easier than it looks!😅 what I found hard about this were those little quick loud outbursts in the first part. (0:12, 0:21, etc.) Thank you!

@@KB_piano I'll take your word for it. 🤣 I'm not sure if that has a technical term, but I do like when there's that continuous ascending/descending. I always thought it sounds really cool.
I bet those quick transitions have to be extremely hard too. Lot's of control/practice

The continuous ascending/descending, those are called arpeggios. And yes the quick transitions take a lot of control and energy!

      @@KB_piano Ah arpreggios. Very cool.
What would you say is your favorite composer/piano piece to play?
I've been trying to learn how to play Moonlight Sonata and Nocturne Op. 9, No. 2. Those are great pieces of music. I actually discovered Chopin from Muse sampling his song. 😂

That’s a tough question to answer! The composers I’ve enjoyed playing the most have been Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, and Philip Glass. I don’t think I have a favorite piece, though. Maybe the most fun piece I played was Ballade number 3 by Chopin.
Those are challenging pieces! Especially the third movement of the moonlight sonata is intense. I only know maybe one or two Muse songs. Thanks Guitar Hero😂 That’s cool they sampled Chopin! I think it’s great when modern artists can introduce more people to classical music!
