- Gente, he sabido de muchas personas que han tenido este u otros problemas con sus Logitech Driving Force pro y hasta GT. En fin, en este video no resuelvo nada mas que explicar en que consiste el problema que me surgio a mi y como se imaginan e pueden solucionarlo a como mejor les venga la mano.

Mine has the opposite problem. It's stuck in 200 degree rotation. Thanks for showing how easy that is to fix, now I just need a screwdriver long and thin enough to reach those screws. Time to run to the hardware store.

Hello, I know this is an old video, but I can see an easy way to get around this problem other than a lever like you suggested. So, the broken part moves the plastic piece, which then engages a switch. If it's activated the upper switch, it's in one mode, and the lower switch in another. You could solder some wires to the contacts of the switches and run them to a 2 way switch which you could mount on the outside casing of the wheel. Then, you just have the switch one way for 180, and the other way for 900.

i have this steering wheel while 15 years i didnt know that it has and 900 degree mode and i learn it now !! and this peace of crap is broken ! and the point is that it had never work before ...... but ty man i will try to do this to mine and i hope to work

I believe that you can help me with this: I want my DFP stop at 900 degrees .. because whenever I disconnect it .. it back to lock in 180 degrees .. I hate playing with 180 degree ... because I drift in LFS, it is impossible to drift with 180 º open play with the steering wheel is also impossible, as I switch gears?
I would like to know if someone knows how to fix this problem properly. I bought my DFP more than 10 years ago and on my first try I connected it on a 220v and the power supply was 110v. Logitech sent to me a new power supply but since that, I have to open the steering wheel to make it works. Someone, how understands electronics could help us? It's a pretty common problem from Logitech Driving Force Pro and I always look for a solution and I never got anything.

Amigo espero que me contestes yo tengo el driving force pero cuando lo conecto al PC y comienza el calibrado cuando se tiene que parar en el centro simplemente se queda 45 grados más hacia la derecha. Y el PC piensa que con el volante girado 45 grados está en el centro. Espero su ayuda :(
Please help me. Whenever i put usb in my pc my steering wheel wont calibrate i did the same thing you did step by step but my left green light always bling or dosent even blink at all. And my right green light stays on.

Use a hole saw (I used a 1") on the casing and leave the silver center support out. Then you can easily reach it without having to remove the casing each time.

Same problem. Pressnig select then r3 and then the right shifter turn just only 180 degree mode, but didnt turn 900 degree mode back. Did you fix your problem?

My wheel does this as well, the turning and the blinking lights after.
I could get around it by connecting the wheel, setting rotation to lower then 180. It locks the wheel. Comes up succesfully and then in software put the 900 or whatever back in.
No need for me to open the wheel.

you say setting the rotation lower than 180. where do i do that at? i know its been a year since you posted this but maybe you can help me because my wheel is turning all the way to the right in a 900 degree angle then after that it just stops and its just blinking lights and nothing works. not the buttons or the pedals.

hola, yo tengo el mismo steering wheel, y que pasa con mio es que es muy difícil para girar lo, si estaba encendido xD, pero es normal que no se gira facil o no?

Press select then r3 and then the right shifter on the back of the wheel but all at the same time. If you play a game and it goes back to 180 press them again until both light are on.

Mine is stuck at 180, the select R3 r1 combo doesnt work , the engine responds, it does a little *tuck* any solution?
+Bogs Binny me too, i opened the wheel and someway, with two wires, i made it work. I used one wire to let the cart inside move down so the wheel is free to rotate, and another wire to move back the cart to its original position. Hope you understood

take the volt meter , check the voltage on the motor pins , if there is voltage the motor is dead , the motor can only be dead if wires in side are brunet (i assume its a simple ac motor, anyways if u cant repair that u can make manual switches and take them out of the wheel , so if u press first one it will do 180 , second 900, so there are two ways u can fix this , non of them are very hard , but i assume u dont know how to fix the motor, or the problem isnt in the motor then u can go for the switching so u can assemble ur wheel and attache it to the table , i hope i helped cuz ive ordered the same wheel should be coming any moment or tomorrow, i just hope its working cuz its used one, anyways sinece i build my own wheel i doubt there is a thing in there i cant fix , other then plastic rotor's, i cant make those, but if that is broken im going to return it , save some money and go for GT one

Vuk Radevic ovaj lik nema pojma sta radi, a chim si ti njega poslusao znahci ni ti nisi znao sta radis.. ali bez brige, to su male struje, nedovoljne da se nesto sprzi,znachi nisi nista sprzio, Vrati sve kako je bilo, i vidi jel radi, najverovatnije si prespojio masu i + tako da nista unutra ne dobija struju, Tako da vrati sve kako je bilo, i opisi mi sta si radio da vidim sta bi moglo biti, i meni je brda puta volan ostao neregistrovan od strane rachunara dok sam ga pravio i skoro uvek je to bilo kad napravim kratki spoj, dovoljno da dotaknem lemilicom chuje se zvuk iz kompjutera da je iskljuchena sprava tako da 99 posto si to uradio , spojio si plus i minus, i sprava ne dobija struju, iskljuchi napajanje kad radis, treba da ga detektuje rachunar i bez napajanja ali onda ne radi force feedback, tako ces znati jesi posle samog chipa napravio spoj ili na izlazu iz chipa gde ide samo force feedback signal. probaj bez napajanja, ako nece ,vrati sve ko sto je bilo, ako nece zaborravio si kako je bilo, al opisi mi sta si i zasto radio

Vuk Radevic dodao sam te na FB, pa ako nista nisi dirao prelemljavao, probaj da vratis switch na svoje mesto, gde je bio i onda probaj , ako je isto odnesi volan kod druga il na drugi komp vidi st a se desava, ako ni tamo ne radi bar znas da nije do sistema, sto bi znachilo da ipaj jesi nesto unutra uradio makar i ne znajuci, znaci probaj kod druga ili vrati switch kojim god oces redom, pa cemo videti
