Pulling back for gear up and pushing forward for gear down with a sequential shifter makes sense. It matches the g-force you would feel in a real car when accelerating and braking. This is always my preferred setup with a sequential shifter.
I have one that I bought in 2001. It works for PS2 games and most PS3 games that support a wheel. It was $160 new back then, so not cheap and very high quality and response. I love it! It does have 900 deg turn which most games I've played have the option to turn off/on.
This was my first FFB wheel back in 2003 I think (launched along with GT4 Prologue iirc). I only sold it a couple of years ago as it had been sat unused in my loft for about 5 years. I did fire it up to test it before I sold it. It still worked perfectly in iRacing but man the speed of the motor shocked me - it was sooooo slow in comparison what I'm used to today (Direct Drive).
Nice just pulled my old Logitech Driving Force Pro wheel out the storage shed it's been sitting in a plastic bin in the heat for maybe close to 10 years lol, I hope it still works. Hoping I can run some Forza and American Truck Simulator on it!
I am trying to play Need For Speed Heat and i've got two major problems. I'm working with the Logitech profiler to allocate the controls. The first problem is, that the pedals are only responding if I fully press it. What setting would I have to change? I hope i'm not overwhelming anyone xD
Take note that you will need to mess with settings and it's gamble with games. Project Cars works perfectly don't know if this will be for every single game you want to play.
Main problem is these old wheels have no support for next gen. Brook does have converter you can try only they are expensive. I tested it on my pc with project cars because the game supports the wheel itself.
SELECT + R3 + RIGHT SHIFT PADDLE. this puts it in 900 degree mode
Thank youuu mannn I’ve had this for ages and it wasn’t working thank youuu
thanks
not working for me why?
Select + R3 + Left Paddle for 100% force feedback as the wheel defaults to 60% feedback. The left LED will flash twice to indicate this change.
Thank you man you are a hero
I have the same wheel and mine spins 180 degrees too, but I often see videos where the same wheel spins 3 times
W
you are a king!!!
Have you used this with Asetto Corsa? I don't get the feedback part, just an increasing resistance as I turn the wheel from center.

Thanks for your comment never thought about that 😅
It's also how most sequential shifters in rally cars and the like work
I just bought one today for $100, it works as soon as I plug it into my Win10 PC! it also works perfectly for Truck Simulator without any hassle.

I've moved on from handhelds to sim racing so I'm super happy that you have a channel for everything 🤘🤓🤘 Nerdcore Hardcore
Lmaoo "nerdcore hardcore" I love that term bro😂
Thanks for reviewing that like it 👍🍺🍻
This wheel indeed has 900 degree rotation; I believe it was even the first to offer this feature.

Any idea how to calibrate PC games with this steering wheel?

I have the same wheel and mine spins 180 degrees too, but I often see videos where the same wheel spins 3 times
Select+r3+right shift paddle for 900° mode
@@binarhassan no its kaputt
You need to enable 900 degree mode.
What the sofware for sterring ?
Is tbis works with xbox one?
Can you use it for ps4?
Sadly it’s not compatible with ps4. Only ps2, ps3 and pc.
Can I use it on my ps4? It used to work a few years ago but I can't seem to get it to work now 😢😢😢 please help

What about on pc
@@tervinmatamangira3070 same , just dont buy this wheel , I already cancel my order , this wheel is from 2004
@@tervinmatamangira3070 same what the guy said , this is very cheap and old
Sorry but software in win11 no working 😱 , how to install now ???
I just installed windows 10 software and it works fine 👍
Is this compatible with ps4 ?
I shoud've bought this instead of cheap crap wheels, the price is the same.
Hi .do you have link dowload software driver in pc?
You need to find the right game.
For PC project cars works great.
Otherwise use it for PS2 itself.
how do you connect it into your pc?
Main problem is finding a game that works with it. Project cars was the only game that full y uses the wheel and feedback function 😅
@@wickedracing euro truck simulator 2 supports it too
@@wickedracing FH4 AND FH5 works fine
does it work without the drivers?
I'm using old Logitech driver ... the best thing to do is get and converter or just use a game that supports this wheel like in the video.
@@wickedracing do you have driver download link?
Mine doesn’t calibrate when I plug it into my pc
MAKE SURE THE POWER CABLE IS PLUGGED IN
@@Poopbagsteve thank you I figured it out
mine is not working on windows 11 anyone knows?
it isnt supported i dont think
Just use the windows 10 software it still works on windows 11
Get a driving force gt its way better but its way louder or just get a used g25 or g27
work in windows 11 ??
This is more a question what game does it support. This wheel was great with project cars. Beside that is it a gamble 😅
@@wickedracing works with Win 11.
works with Win 11.
What's the game name?
Project Cars 1
please play assetto corsa or forza horizon 5
I pulled mine out of the box to see if it still worked. Logitech says it won't. (with windows 11) Everything works except the pedals.
