Love the way you use lots of basic ingredients that most of us have at home instead of hard to get crazy stuff or overpriced items at specialty supermarkets. Thank you for saving us time in the kitchen.
I accidentally stumbled on your channel and loved your video. I will be prepping your 15 meals in one 1 hr & will share my journey. Thanks so much for sharing.
I just love how they explain everything to us so we can understand them , and they make it fun so we don't get bored or distracted ( which happens to me very often) plus they are having fun to which is amazing. So thank you! You're amazing guys!
I just found your videos! I love your style of cooking! I've always thought it would be so complicated to meal prep; but you have made me so excited to try it! I showed my wife your videos and we both love how you explain everything and break it down so that it is very simple! We are going to try these and we definitly want more information about your meal prep program. Thank you so Much!
I am so happy to read you found the video useful :) I can't wait to hear how you liked the recipes. For more information on the program you can go here, make sure to watch the video on the page, it contains a lot of information: green-healthy-cooking.thrivecart.com/6-week-clean-eating-program/
Thank you very much! 🙏 Just come across your channel, will definitely try these recipes, they look so delicious and healthy. I’m Vegetarian so I’ll just replace the chicken part.
i just followed these recipes and everything turned out super great!!!! it took me way longer than an hour lol but now that i know how i can do it faster next time. thank you so much for the knowledge and step by steps💗💗💗💗💗
Great job! And I'm so happy you enjoyed it! Yes, it'll probably take you an hour when you know the steps by heart and you don't have to look up things in the written recipe.
First time on your channel, and I must say, I LOVE your personality and transparency! Not to mention, I definitely plan to step up meal prepping for our family using some of your suggestions. Thank you so much for the simple tips! Also, your dishes look delicious 🤗🎉🤩
You've always got such amazing meals 😋 👏 Thanks to one of your video, I learnt how to cook PURFECT quinoa. You explained everything sooo well. Thank you so much!😊
I have been wearing myself out cooking different things for family members who can’t eat this & don’t like that. Ugh! Yours is the easiest prep meal video I have ever watched. It’s the way I like to cook; fast. 😊
😱 omg amazing. I’m going to try it for sure. It saves so much time and we can stick to the dieting routine. Plus, we don’t have to worry about thinking what to make for lunch or dinner. Thank you so much 🙏🙏🙏🙏👏👏👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍😍
I really love this as I like to do lunch prep but never thought of doing dinner prep. A small request for you. Can you also include Kid friendly meal plan to this? No one ever did this or I never came across one in the youtube.
My kids eat the exact same I do. They eat any and all of these meals. I strongly discourage cooking children separate meals, unless the meals are spicy. These meals are super nutrient dense and exactly what children need for their development. Don't get them used to eating non-nutrient dense food.
Thank you. I really wanted to link to the jars but I couldn't find them anywhere online. I found them at my local hard-ware store. I found these on Amazon that look like they would work maybe: amzn.to/45gnDsV
unfortunately I couldn't find a link. I searched the whole internet and I couldn't even find a website for the brand :( I bought them at a local hard-ware store. I have no clue how or where they found them.
Very easy to prepare and to follow. Thank you so much! Definitely going to get the instapot insert for double cooking. The dishes are super tasty and healthy too!!! Perfect! What’s the name of the hot sauce you mentioned?
Just found you and love it! Great presentation- simple, clear and informative. The "pressure cooker thingy" is no longer available on Amazon. No worries. Question- the smoothies- do you freeze them and then take them out the night before you want to eat them? I found stainless steel ones on Amazon that would work well in freezer and with a hand blender.
Prepare smoothies by adding 1 banana, 1 cup frozen mango, 1 Tbsp flax seeds, and 1 handful of baby spinach to a freezer-friendly container and put in the freezer. The morning of, when you want to have the smoothie, you just add the milk to the frozen ingredients and blend. Done.
I am not a meal prepper but I enjoyed the video. Thank you for showing reality of dirty ovens and dishes to wash. I might make the chicken veggie pan dinner. I try to make extra of my meals so my family has leftovers to take for lunches. So I guess that’s sorta meal prep.
The food will not go bad on day 4 and day 5?? Usually the prepared food last for 3 days, any idea or tips how to keep the prepped meals fresh on day 4 and 5?
the most "dangerous" food to go bad is protein and most properly cooked protein lasts up to 4 days in the fridge with close to no risk. This does not mean it becomes poisonous on day 5 but simply that there is a small risk attached. In the blog post I wrote a full paragraph concerning your questions. The link is in the description.
Just a quick question, if i try and cook the 1 cup of rice to 1 cup of water in a saucepan with a tight lid how long should i simmer the rice for? And how long should it steam for? If you could please let me know id really appreciate it
If you’re making this on the stove I recommend adding an extra 1/3 cup water to account for evaporation. Bring to a boil uncovered and immediately as soon as it’s boiling reduce the heat to low and put on the lid. It’s crucial that the kid is tight fitting and has no holes in it. It’s also crucial that you immediately lower the heat to low and cover so not too much water evaporates. Leave it on low for 15 minutes, then remove from the heat but don’t lift the lid. Just let it finish steaming until you’re ready to serve it.
Overnight oats are delicious but are a sugar spiking bus crash if u are pre diabetic. Get a blood glucose tester and see if this seemingly harmless meal puts u in the danger zone
More important than the spikes (I said “more” important, not that spikes aren’t important) is if the blood sugar comes back down to normal levels in a reasonable amount of time. I say this as a pre-diabetic myself! But yeah, totally agree that it might be better to limit oats, or at least decrease the amount and add in some hemp and flax seeds to help blunt the spike!
Yes, follow the same directions but depending on how tight your pot's lid fits you'll want to add 1/3 to 1/2 cup more liquid. If it's not super tight or has a little hole in the lid then add 1/2 cup extra liquid and if it's a tight-fitting lid without holes 1/3 cup should be enough. Bring to a boil and once boiling immediately reduce heat to low and let simmer for 15 minutes, then remove from heat but don't lift off the lid. Let it steam for another 10 minutes off the heat. And yes, snap peas work perfectly.
I live in Dar es Salaam Tanzania a coastal city very humid and hot all year round! The best would be 3 days for food to be fresh in the fridge unless i store them in the freezer then have to take it through thawing heating before eating!!!the cost benefit of this is not adding up. Obviously weather is a critical factor!!
As long as you keep your meal prep containers in a well-functioning refrigerator at 7°C or colder the food stays fresh for 4 days. Temperature and humidity outside of the fridge are irrelevant.
your channel is surprisingly hard to find. all I get is giant buff dudes when I google this topic LOL. I like the no BS healthy recipes thanks :) I was so depressed and couldn't feed myself a healthy meal before, but I surprisingly started loving cooking again after buying myself a Japanese knife (A gyuto, saving for a nakiri on christmas!) I love meat so much but it makes me feel so guilty to eat so I'm trying to find some vegan recipes too :)
The recipes look good and I would do for my family, but I don't think I can eat the same things for that long. That's been my biggest issue in prepping just for myself.

I only ever cook my boiled eggs for 6 mins and run cold water over them then leave in the water until cool then pop in the fridge. Delish!
I love soft eggs, too.

My oven is dirty too. You don’t have to clean it every time. Yours is not that bad
I don’t have an Instant Pot. Do I just follow pkg directions for the quinoa and veggies? Also can I substitute snap peas for green beans?
Oh and a substitute for that seasoning?
Yes, follow the same directions but depending on how tight your pot's lid fits you'll want to add 1/3 to 1/2 cup more liquid.
