I can't tell how much I appreciate your generous gift of TEACHING this kind of cooking. Many people eat out or eat processed food because they have not been taught the art of cooking nutritiously and thoughtfully. My husband used to ask me to create a NGO to teach impoverished populations how to cook and get them out of the cycle of processed foods and metabolic disease.
Love your cooking comment about not eating processed and canned foods as many people in the US UK and modern society eat. Always excessive fat, salt, sugar, sodium nitrates everywhere !! 🥶
Tip for not Crying: Always refrigerate the onion prior to chopping it, this inhibits the gases to escape and will not make you cry. What I usually do is I always keep ONE onion in the refrigerator and the rest I store in my pantry in a cool dry place. Once I use the one in the refrigerator, I immediately replace it with a new one. This works for me every time. I hope it works for you. Thank you for this video and congratulations on your new book.

This absolutely exceeded my expectations. I never learned to cook so I am always overwhelmed by most recipes and give up before trying, on top of that I am a picky eater and usually can't find anything I like. Everything you presented here is extremely easy to prepare, the meals are varied enough that I can just leave out ingredients I don't like, and there is so much choice. Thank you!

White potatoes actually have about the same nutritional value as sweet potatoes. White potatoes have a bit more potassium, protein, and carbs, while sweet potatoes have more vitamins A and C, and have slightly fewer calories. The differences are pretty minor, so just go based on taste, budget, and dietary needs

Your methods have improved my quality of life 100%! I eat healthier and fresher. There’s almost zero food waste at home…by focusing on foundational ingredients every meal is like a fun ‘Chopped episode’. Ok I got tuna, sweet potatoes, crepes-let me see what can be made with those 😅 I also eat way less processed foods and the inflammation and stress has decreased considerably. I Just wanted to stop and let you know that this video was amazing and I was so anxious about how to do this myself that I would get anxiety and would just normally throw chicken and a vegetable with just water salt and pepper and garlic seasoning into a small crock pot and that was what I ate the entire week. But you truly made me understand this prep lesson in a way that clicked. Thank you so much for teaching me how to live a genuinely better life.
I must eat gluten free due to medical reasons late in life. The transition was hard. I now highly enjoy eating healthy foods and I feel healthier and stronger. It was god sent to find your channel. Got to use those broccoli stalks girl!! Shave the outside fibrous part off and cut into rounds about 1/8thin thick so they'll cook at the same speed as the florets. 💯
What a blessing you are! I am 5 days into my 40 day fast with no sugar, grains, or dairy and these recipes are perfect. I am so excited to try them out! you mentioned in this video that you cry while cutting onions. I have a trick for you that someone taught me last year. if you fill a bowl with water and set it right next to the cutting board while you cut the onion you wo t cry. There is some sort of reaction that happens when you cut the onion and if you have water close by it seems to be attracted to that instead of your eyes. Thanks again for your amazing videos!

I now own your New Healthy Meal Prep Cookbook, I love how you set up the different foods and then add some of your favorite Meal recipes but of course I've chosen to get creative with my recipes which is so easy to do with your cookbook. I think this has the capacity to change my life. I have ADHD and have trouble following recipe videos and healthy lifestyles because they never really show how to create all the recipes at once in a way that seems feasible for busy people, or people who have a hard time visualizing things and prepping, but i could see myself making these things. I work very long hours Mon-Fri and these ideas are brilliant. I was happy to buy a crepe pan to enjoy these meals and I even sourced new containers because I saw the great benefits.
I use frozen blueberries for my chia jam! Frozen is fresher and they break down easier when heated. Love this meal prep video for keeping on a budget 💖

I made the maple mustard tahini dressing last night, and once again, you are correct that this is to be drizzled, poured, and dipped on EVERYTHING😂 After dressing a huge "kitchen sink" salad, there was not a drop left as this bowl of heaven was then used as a dip for the fish. First of all- about 3 months ago I nearly cut the entire tip of my finger off with a mandolin when my kids were fighting and I was distracted! Like- the whole tip at an angle! So be safe they are sharp! Also- your meal prep series are my absolute favorite. Really appreciate them!

I always find it such a shame when people chuck it out, as it's perfectly edible! I like to trim the tough outer edge, then slice them really thinly. Tastes perfectly tender this way!

Congrats on your book, well deserved, been following you for almost two years, found you during the pandemic and have done a few of your simple recipes, not difficult at all, and most of all, great recipes for my tummy problems. Amazing presentations and detailed videos. I'm glad about the dressings you've made, I've been buying store bought but get so turned off with all the extra added unnecessary ingredients. Create a few more please and I've not checked but I'm sure you have videos on desserts, which I'd like to have a few of those recipes also.

But crepes look better than tortillas I’ve used and I look forward to try all you’ve shown here and more. 4’11” was 165 HBP. Now at 132.4 -134 bk n forth for months. Eliminating gluten really demands planning. I find that when I get too tired, too rushed, or have a fridge full of healthy food -- but it all still needs to be washed, cut up and prepared -- it is too tempting to grab something less desirable and satisfying. Advance prepping is essential to stay the course especially when you have food sensitivities and gluten intolerance. It is a joy to open the fridge and see all those choices neatly organized and ready to go. 🙏❤️

This absolutely exceeded my expectations. I never learned to cook so I am always overwhelmed by most recipes and give up before trying, on top of that I am a picky eater and usually can't find anything I like. Everything you presented here is extremely easy to prepare, the meals are varied enough that I can just leave out ingredients I don't like, and there is so much choice. Thank you!

White potatoes actually have about the same nutritional value as sweet potatoes. White potatoes have a bit more potassium, protein, and carbs, while sweet potatoes have more vitamins A and C, and have slightly fewer calories. The differences are pretty minor, so just go based on taste, budget, and dietary needs

I Just wanted to stop and let you know that this video was amazing and I was so anxious about how to do this myself that I would get anxiety and would just normally throw chicken and a vegetable with just water salt and pepper and garlic seasoning into a small crock pot and that was what I ate the entire week. But you truly made me understand this prep lesson in a way that clicked. Thank you so much for teaching me how to live a genuinely better life.

Got to use those broccoli stalks girl!! Shave the outside fibrous part off and cut into rounds about 1/8thin thick so they'll cook at the same speed as the florets. 💯

you mentioned in this video that you cry while cutting onions. I have a trick for you that someone taught me last year. if you fill a bowl with water and set it right next to the cutting board while you cut the onion you wo t cry. There is some sort of reaction that happens when you cut the onion and if you have water close by it seems to be attracted to that instead of your eyes.

A great tip for cutting onions: put your cutting board on the stove top and turn on the fume hood/ventilator. It helps me a lot with not crying.

I work very long hours Mon-Fri and these ideas are brilliant. I was happy to buy a crepe pan to enjoy these meals and I even sourced new containers because I saw the great benefits.
I use frozen blueberries for my chia jam! Frozen is fresher and they break down easier when heated. Love this meal prep video for keeping on a budget 💖

I made the maple mustard tahini dressing last night, and once again, you are correct that this is to be drizzled, poured, and dipped on EVERYTHING😂 After dressing a huge "kitchen sink" salad, there was not a drop left as this bowl of heaven was then used as a dip for the fish. First of all- about 3 months ago I nearly cut the entire tip of my finger off with a mandolin when my kids were fighting and I was distracted! Like- the whole tip at an angle! So be safe they are sharp!

Love these meal prep videos! I appreciate the way you present everything - it's is so clearly laid out and methodicial. I'm wondering what you did with those broccoli stalks? I always find it such a shame when people chuck it out, as it's perfectly edible! I like to trim the tough outer edge, then slice them really thinly. Tastes perfectly tender this way!

Congrats on your book, well deserved, been following you for almost two years, found you during the pandemic and have done a few of your simple recipes, not difficult at all, and most of all, great recipes for my tummy problems. Amazing presentations and detailed videos. I'm glad about the dressings you've made, I've been buying store bought but get so turned off with all the extra added unnecessary ingredients. Create a few more please and I've not checked but I'm sure you have videos on desserts, which I'd like to have a few of those recipes also.

Outstanding meal prep. I just LOVE your inspiring meal preps. THANK YOU! It is truly necessary to do some weekly preps when you are committed to a healthy diet. Eliminating gluten really demands planning. I find that when I get too tired, too rushed, or have a fridge full of healthy food -- but it all still needs to be washed, cut up and prepared -- it is too tempting to grab something less desirable and satisfying. Advance prepping is essential to stay the course especially when you have food sensitivities and gluten intolerance. It is a joy to open the fridge and see all those choices neatly organized and ready to go. 🙏❤️

I just have to say that I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL! I found you a few months back and since then I have been sharing your recipes and videos with my mom, sisters and friends! You are such an inspiration!
