I have studied with Melissa and I have to agree, she rocks! I click on the same sort of things Melissa would, not so much on the sweeping, over generalized promises...
Thank you James and thank you Mellisa for this interview. There is a ton of learning in this. I have been tracking James for years and now I will track Mellisa's videos too. I highly appreciate your deep desire to make a meaningful change in the world and that resonates with what intend to do. I also highly appreciate your wish to forge new pathways apart from traditional methodologies. For more than 21 years I am using NLP & hypnosis to help people. I also study Yogsutra and Huna and use that knowledge to help people. It will be interesting to associate with you guys to learn from you and to exchange ideas and concepts.

Extraordinary. Having studied tons of NLP and ODA (+ I think I have bought EVERY book you ever mentioned James, Amazon should pay you) and I have studied a massive amount of Neuroscience. Even with all of that I still felt somewhat alone with the (to me) obvious realization that "you can change all of the memories to something more useful" The story about the caveman who ment to get food, but now there are lions there ... Indicates that we humans simply HAD to be good at changing or habits / behavious otherwise we would have died out I was also somewhat surprised at just how easy it actually is to change memories ... probably because of all the things I learned, especially from you.
Melissa is incredible… and so are you, James. I learn so much from both of you and let me say that as a confirmed input junkie, I delight in the quality of the information and analysis. Thank you! X
Both of you are been hypnotic to each other, melody also has a special area on brain. A different accent tag, a speech issues like mispealing S or R, are good hyonosis inductors.
Sometimes we need address the solution like Milton Erickson did. People have, sometimes, real problems, tangible problems. So even if you solve the internal structure still there is something "outside" that activate this condition. Telling stories with possibilities, implanting ideas in their mind or even creating curiosity and permission to them to explore their own way, it's the best therapy.
About her intentions in been part of a collective counscious, a group of changing.. We know it is political case. Here in Brazil they do this a lot of hypnotic stories, promises, telling what people want to hear.. and at least here in Brazil at the end they just got more rich and the people still poor and without hope. Here they did this to the teachers, because teachers are the ones who pass the knowledge to the next generation.
What your students need would be an independent modelling expert who could model the subjective processes of Melissa Tiers and JamesTripp. Both of you have much to offer, but can you really teach what you do subjectively when you are engaged in change work? NLP began with modelling subjective experience of Certain therapists and now it is required to model the behaviours of the NLP techniques informed therapists. What do you think about that?

Melissa looks like she's in a Wes Anderson movie...
