    You all folks are lucky to have these under 5k. So much that you folks can buy them with your pocket savings. Here in India, a good 90s RWD manual car ( a MB w140 v8 ) would fetch us 20k. And a used FWD sports hot hatch ( such as abarth punto) would cost around like 15k. We only have the option of a czech RS badged FWD sedan named the skoda octavia VRS which makes 180 horses, has 5 valves per cylinder and costs around 5k. Except they are money pits.

      @@krithikmaran5917 that was based on the avergae earningnof an Indian back then, 5 lakhs for those cars back then was the real price. And back then during the 90s, the 2000s and even the early 2010s, there wasn't high import duty and I remember when you could literally buy an Executive sedan for 25 lakhs. It's just today that our current ECONOMIST goverment have sky rocketed the import duty. I'm aiming to get a 350z but I'm only saving about £300 or £400 a month so I hope I can save up before they start properly appreciating otherwise I'm gonna be chasing the price because every time I almost have enough money the price would have gone up a bit lol. I feel like that would be good for my first car as it's a popular car with a fan base so it can still turn a few heads when you drive past, it's less than £10k so not too expensive, and due to the appreciation if I look after it I might be able to sell it for a bit of profit in the future.

I’ll have to save but I feel like it’d be something I’m more happy with. If not I might just get a 8th gen Honda Civic si

    For my one of my first vehicles as a new driver, I would rather go for a 2008 Volkswagen Jetta 2.5 sedan or a 2013 Scion tC, because the Jetta's with the 2.0T engine have a lot of problems and the older, 2005 to 2010 tC's have problems with excessive oil consumption (2.4 L four-cylinder engine). I can also go for a 2005 Mazda 3 sedan with the 2 L engine and the four-speed automatic transmission or a 2006 Mitsubishi Galant with the 2.4 L four-cylinder engine and the four-speed automatic transmission, as well.

    The 2nd gen Scion TC is the one you want. The one in this video is the first gen and the engine is the 2AZ-FE, one of Toyotas worst engines as far as reliability. They have had class action lawsuit for oil consumption issues. I'd recommend staying away form the 1st gen scion TC. The 2nd gen Scion tc 2011-2016 has a bullet proof drivetrain and is reliable as hell. Toyota fixed a lot of the issues and made one of the most reliable engines to date, the 2AR-FE. It is actually a great first car and can handle some autocross just fine in its stock form. This Ideal guy puts out a lot of content and doesn't know what he is talking about half the time. Unfortunately the TH-cam algorithms reward this kind of trash. If anything the TC is related to the Camry, not the corolla. It shares absolutely nothing with the corolla but has most of the same drive train as the Camry. The first gen actually got 160 hp 2.4L, not 180hp 2.5. Jeez, he messed up the first car so bad I can't watch the rest of the video. This guy likely does even know how to change his own oil yet he is parading around the internet as a "car guy". SMH

    I have a 2001 MUSTANG v6 with a 4.2L engine and out of all on my cars it is truly the best for younger drivers or someone new to tuning scene. It has just as much power as a GT but saves you money on insurance, I currently pay $5 a month to insure it. I also have a 2003 WRX and a 2013 Forester both subarus are great cars last few years it has Snowed a lot here in Washington and my fleet of Subaru's can't be stopped in the snow. While a lot of full size pickup truck struggle up the steep hills of Seattle. I can't praise Subaru enough we own 6 of them 2 GC8 and a 2006 Legacy GT round out our collection.

    Clean, lower mileage SN95 mustang are actually getting harder to find because they are going up in value. Especially clean 5 speed manual V8's. You can still find the V6's all day long. You can make a sleeper V6 though by dropping in a crank from a 4.2L from a F-150 😁

    • @KalaniBunda-Shimamoto
      @KalaniBunda-Shimamoto 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thats what I did to my 2001 Sn95 it has a completely custom built 4.2L V6 with a 28 spline T85 and rear end out of a 5.0 GT my mustang can fly and keeps up with my 300hp WRX 2.0L and saves money on insurance and gas too. Currently building a Eaton M90 supercharger setup for it to really make it a GT killer.

      @chasejones3456 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@KalaniBunda-Shimamoto heck yeah. Built my 95 SN95 V6 almost the same. I just did the crank from the 4.2L with a cam, bigger injectors, long tubes to true dual exhaust, cold air intake and a tune. Mine has the rear end out of 11-14 Mustang GT with 3.55 gears and a locker. It does the job for what it is and surprises a lot of people as well. 🍻

    Controversial opinion - The Kia Forte5 SX and Forte Koup SX can go this list. Sure they may 170-200 HP (depends on the year) but the weigh under 300lbs, and are probably one of the more reliable vehicles. Also the Optima SX, and SXL, which can go all the way to 270 HP.

    I was so excited when you mentioned the Tc, but then so annoyed when you said it's a 2 door corolla 😐 it's the spiritual succesor of the Celica, using the same chassis, a camry engine, sports tuned suspension, and extre.ely light! 1st gen had a supercharger option, 2nd gen fixed all the 1st gen's problems with burning oil, updated the look, and uses the same automatic transmission as in the Lotus Evora of the same years.
    YOU ALSO mixed video of the first and 2nd gen, as well as you said it's a 2.5L 6 speed, that's 2nd gen, 1st gen is 2.4L

    The 99-04 is considered a “New Edge” they have had a 5.0. However swapping a 5.0 from previous Generation Mustangs isn’t that difficult

    • @TxMx214
      @TxMx214 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      99-04 never came from factory with 5.0. Not even the newer ones which are the S197 only came with a 4.6 until the Coyote engine. If you swap a New Edge with a 5.0 it’s not stock.
