Nice to see BTH back. I must get mine out again.
I use white pipe cleaners to denote damaged planes requiring to test next move & black (painted) ones for crashing planes just requiring a Bale Out test. These have the advantage of being able to hook over the end of the wing without being blown away by a passing cat & can be bent to represent a diving plane, etc. 🐱
Also, split pins stuck on to a small base & painted white look good as parachute markers.

Great video, I'm just starting to look into BTH, and I'm wondering 1) where to find a mat like this, and 2) if the scale would work for Blood Red Skies minis?

Thank you, the matt came from DeepCut studio and has a 1" sized hex overlaid. I'm not sure what scale the BRS planes are (1/144th?), but they would work, however, there might be a bit of a squeeze on the hexes, so they would probably have to be made bigger.

Just starting the video - What are you using for bases and what hex size is on your mat?

3d printed bases from Sabotag3d and 1" hexes
