Sometimes those Skip bursts are great, and if I can say myself I’ve always seen Shannon use his experience. The biggest problem with Unsiputed has always been topic selection IMO. I get they want to always have Brady, LeBron, and Cowboys but they can't make that most of the show at the expense of more interesting topics. It leads to more redundant conversations.
My favorite comedic era was their 2019 season commentary because the cowboys were horrendous and Skip’s reactions were hilarious. However, I’ve appreciated the insight from last year and this year from Shannon and skip when he ain’t joking.
Imagine winning 6 rings and your coach saying he don’t want you anymore 😂. If there was anyone that shoulda got to stay as long as he wanted it shoulda been Brady. It’s not even like he wasn’t still a great player either.
@Michael Darcy maaaaan, I'm old enough to remember the Matt Cassell fiasco. Had them calling Brady a "system quarterback" & had Bill thinking he could win with anybody back there. Brady was constantly having to prove himself(and always did)
I hope Skip gets a sit down interview with Tom Brady before his career is over. That would be amazing, and I think we'll get to see some good journalism.

That was my big takeaway checking his post as well, not a single word about the Pats. The goat took that extremely personally and he probably thought about them every game on the way to his super bowl championship.
This is so sad… I grew up watching Tom Brady win Super Bowls over and over again… Brady has more Super Bowl Rings than Any FRANCHISE in the league… Truly the Greatest Football Player to ever play this game…
@@stardestroyer44 The Green Packers have the most NFL championships in history. 13. Thirteen. Yes, the NFL existed before Super Bowl era. I think he'll have a special post or announcement separately, he's probably still working on what he'll say I mean he did play 20 years there so it's probably a lot to say.
One thing’s certain w/ today’s news: the Tom Brady haters lost-& they lost huge. He not only didn’t fall off the cliff, he walked away w/ a strongest case for MVP at 44. He never declined. It’s time for the Brady haters to find a new QB to hate on, and maybe they’ll win this time
Tom Brady is the greatest Quarterback of all time and he's the greatest Winner in NFL history, His will to win was unmatched, The Number #12 should be retired and never worn by any player ever again, The NFL is Losing the greatest winner that we have ever seen
I wouldn't agree with that. This is not the same was when people wanted to retire 23 in basketball. He won a lot, but people will still debate if guys with less titles are better
The fact that you said NFL HISTORY yeah you are going back all the way if you wanted to say it then you should have said in the SUPER BOWL ERA not NFL HISTORY
Tom proved the ultimate point. If you give me unconditional love, respect, and loyalty, I will give you all I have and we will be happier together. But, the minute you turn your back on me, I will never forget it. Tom was forced out after 20 years of unconditional love, respect, and support, but he had the last laugh and showed that he can be better without bellecheck. I’m not the biggest Brady fan, but what he accomplished career wise is unparalleled. But the ultimate lesson he taught bellecheck, “Appreciate and respect those who made you who you are” is the one thing I will always respect him most for.
I agree. But Tom also wanted to show everyone he could win without bill. He did that. Bill is struggling without Tom and I seriously doubt he'll ever get another ring. He'll retire before that happens. Mac Jones ain't gonna get him one so what is he gonna do?
Never forget, you cannot hold onto resentment. You will only find yourself permanently being angry at whatever it is. You can’t heal that way. Life is about growth and change, don’t let your own mind keep you from appreciating all this world has to offer. Positivity is a choice. anger is a choice.
As a Pats fan, I was a bit hurt that he didn't at least mention the fan base that loved watching him play and grow. But I get it, and I hope he has a great future
He’s saving it. I don’t think he’s even all the way there yet, he just walked away from 20 years I’m sure he’s retiring a Patriot and will give an amazing speech to those fans. Tom IS New England.
Nah Tom ain't retiring a pat. He's too butthurt. He'd rather retire as a 2 year buc than a 20 year patriot. It's sad he feels this way but it is what it is. He probably wouldn't turn up for his Patriots Hof. Maybe in future he wouldn't be so emotional and actually listen to his dad who said as much 10 years ago. He wanted out, got out and is upset he's out lol.
Shannon. You were so eloquent and real in this conversation. Thank you for your hard-earned perspective and giving us insight into Tom’s situation. Your wisdom is so valuable. I’ve copied your quotes about 10 years of greatness... and crying- will reflect on them, quote them when apropos and always give you credit for them God bless
I think he just felt the Bucs deserved their own appreciation post. There didn’t look to be any bad blood when he went back to foxborough earlier this season, and I think he even said New England will always be apart of him and he looks forward to coming back at some point. Plus if I remember correctly he already did an appreciation type post for New England fans when he signed with Tampa
I fully agree with Mr. Hartman here. He paid his respect to Pat fans and organization when he left for Tampa. Now he did the same for Tampa. I don't see any reason for having mentioned Pats now. They were the past and that phase had been closed.
Shannon is amazing 👏. I always loved him as a player and I am a giant fan. Fantastic hall of fame player,a great guy and a good man with fabulous insight. I hope Tom listens to him because 20 years is tough to erase.

Probably the best segment of Undisputed! This show has improved DRASTICALLY since Skip mellowed out and Shannon has used his experience more.
To be fair soemtimes you have to put a little spice or extra stuff to make it watchable, I love undisputed but a lot of their content is something they’ve already talked about. Sometimes those Skip bursts are great, and if I can say myself I’ve always seen Shannon use his experience. Always has the humble approach to thing, uses his wisdom see through situations that people outside the sport wouldn’t understand. Also gives some damn good quotes from his grandparents that resonate with many people, not just sport heads.
The biggest problem with Unsiputed has always been topic selection IMO. I get they want to always have Brady, LeBron, and Cowboys but they can't make that most of the show at the expense of more interesting topics. It leads to more redundant conversations.
This show would be the best if there was no Skip. Ok, maybe that's a bit drastic. I should have said Skip can Skip some of his narrative.
You bugging! Skip and Shannon is the that magical formula!!! It wouldn’t be near the same without one or the other!
Belichick wanted to start Jimmy G before they even won their 5th.
@@lycanthropic1122 dudes wild lol
@Michael Darcy maaaaan, I'm old enough to remember the Matt Cassell fiasco. Had them calling Brady a "system quarterback"
& had Bill thinking he could win with anybody back there. Brady was constantly having to prove himself(and always did)
@@NotoriousSSV I mean bill did go 11-5 wit Matt. And just made the playoffs with Mac.

Nice to see Shannon pay his respect, which is long overdue. There will never be another Tom Brady 🐐
I hope Skip gets a sit down interview with Tom Brady before his career is over. That would be amazing, and I think we'll get to see some good journalism.
I respect his decision but he really should do one more year. Dude is nearly 45 and is leading the nfl in passing yards, he’s obviously still able to compete at a high level. He’s been better than he was the last couple years
I think he’s up for it, but he’s probably doing it for his wife
Whatever status you achieved, whatever heartaches and failures you endured. Whatever misunderstandings you had with your previous team/employer. You always look back and thank the ones that gave you the opportunity. Anyways as a pats fan. Thank you brady for your contribution to the pats success. You are the GOAT qb of all time!
Brady is like MJ, when you don’t believe in him, He takes it personal.
Brady isn’t a coke head who got his father killed, also Brady didn’t play in a weak era on a stacked team
@@dadillonful everyone’s got flaws, that doesn’t discredit the fact that MJ is the Goat of the NBA and Tom is the NFL goat. You gotta learn to separate on and off the court issues

i mean he also did thank them tremendously when when left. obviously there's a deeper issue there but this was his next chapter and he thanked those people in that chapter.
Shannon dropping truth 💣! Amazing how he can share his experiences and equate those to current nfl issues.
I’ll cry if this show ever goes off the air I love them two together
These two might be the best 1-2 sports analysis punch. Love listening to their takes and insight.
Coach Belichick didn’t act hands off with Jimmy G. He was sending him encouraging text messages before his first play off game when he was on a whole other damn team. This is just pure jealousy. Brady made it happen for 20 damn years. You can’t replicateTom Brady or Michael Jordan.
I’m a huge Mac Jones fan and I see him having a lot of success but with that being said I truly believe when Brady left New England it’s more than likely belichick will never reach another super bowl. I think belichick time with the pats will come to an end in 5 years or less
@@rmurray819 Yeah, Damien Harris had a great season as well. If he keeps developing and they get some more receivers, that offense will be scary. Not to mention, Bill has always been great at building a good defense. Underestimating Bellichek is like when people would say Brady ain’t winning ever again in 2016 and he won 2 more.
I was a pats fan until the organization sh-t on Brady... Now I rejoice when the pats lose....
@@rmurray819 to ignore the positive attributes Brady brought to the defense is ridiculous. 1 the offense was neglected to support defense. That offense only works with Brady. 2 good offense equals great field position and top. Both significant factors in defense quality

I never comment. But I felt Shannon really in on this topic. Great to see that from him. A person that feels what the GOAT might felt/feel during these past 2-3 years. Props 👌🏾
Why does Skip have to say this man whole name everytime 😂
To make it seem like he knows him
@@patelaakash267 right
I was thinking the same thing…😁
Shannon is correct 100%. In due time, Brady will go back for a great celebration in New England. It also highlights why Brady is successful, he is living in the present & not yesteryear.
When they’re not trolling each other and arguing about Lebron/Aaron Rodgers/Cowboys, etc, this show is amazing
Started watching football in 1996. Patriots fan my entire life. Tom was my hero growing up second to my father and grandfather. It will always bother me that it ended the way it did.
Bill Belichick's career coaching record was 41-57 the day Tom Brady took over as starting quarterback in September of 2001
He was the coach of the Browns. What’d you expect?
@@KleinpeterHank you do realize the browns were in the afc championship game in 1986 1987 and 1989, and Bill Belichick became browns coach in 1991, don't you..Also, If the browns were so bad, which they weren't, don't you think the great Bill Belichick would have turned the team around

It’ll never happen but I wish we could get a press conference/speech from coach Belichick just detailing his appreciation for Brady. Don’t let the media hype fool you, him & Brady were as lock stepped as any duo in sports ever
i think it can happen. maybe not right after a postgame conference but in the nfl 100 list, he spoke really highly of him

Highly unlikely..... Belicheck didn't mention him when he left

That was my big takeaway checking his post as well, not a single word about the Pats. The goat took that extremely personally and he probably thought about them every game on the way to his super bowl championship.
22 seasons..7 Super Bowl championships and 10 Super Bowl appearances...not to mention all the other records...well done Mr. Brady 🏈
That's insane
Mr. Sharpe, you speak truth. Time heals most (though not all) wounds.
This is so sad… I grew up watching Tom Brady win Super Bowls over and over again… Brady has more Super Bowl Rings than Any FRANCHISE in the league… Truly the Greatest Football Player to ever play this game…

I think he'll have a special post or announcement separately, he's probably still working on what he'll say I mean he did play 20 years there so it's probably a lot to say.
Yeah keep dreaming
One thing’s certain w/ today’s news: the Tom Brady haters lost-& they lost huge. He not only didn’t fall off the cliff, he walked away w/ a strongest case for MVP at 44. He never declined. It’s time for the Brady haters to find a new QB to hate on, and maybe they’ll win this time

Wow Shannon fighting tears relating to Tom. Incredibly powerful stuff.
Tom Brady is the greatest Quarterback of all time and he's the greatest Winner in NFL history, His will to win was unmatched, The Number #12 should be retired and never worn by any player ever again, The NFL is Losing the greatest winner that we have ever seen

He already said his goodbyes to NE two years ago
Tom proved the ultimate point. If you give me unconditional love, respect, and loyalty, I will give you all I have and we will be happier together. But, the minute you turn your back on me, I will never forget it. Tom was forced out after 20 years of unconditional love, respect, and support, but he had the last laugh and showed that he can be better without bellecheck. I’m not the biggest Brady fan, but what he accomplished career wise is unparalleled. But the ultimate lesson he taught bellecheck, “Appreciate and respect those who made you who you are” is the one thing I will always respect him most for.
As a Patriots fan I say he has every right to be bitter. They did him dirty. Should have never went to Tampa in the first place….
They did him dirty dirty
I agree. But Tom also wanted to show everyone he could win without bill. He did that. Bill is struggling without Tom and I seriously doubt he'll ever get another ring. He'll retire before that happens. Mac Jones ain't gonna get him one so what is he gonna do?
I love this show. Shay and Skip are so good together. You can tel they respect each other and have real chemistry.
Never forget, you cannot hold onto resentment. You will only find yourself permanently being angry at whatever it is. You can’t heal that way. Life is about growth and change, don’t let your own mind keep you from appreciating all this world has to offer. Positivity is a choice. anger is a choice.
Shannon opened up with facts 💯
As a Pats fan, I was a bit hurt that he didn't at least mention the fan base that loved watching him play and grow. But I get it, and I hope he has a great future
Bruh.....don't be a skip, he was obviously going to thank the Patriots separately
It's not an official goodbye..I think more to come..maybe even a video
"Some things can only be seen through eyes that have cried"

He’s saving it. I don’t think he’s even all the way there yet, he just walked away from 20 years I’m sure he’s retiring a Patriot and will give an amazing speech to those fans. Tom IS New England.
Nah

Nah Tom ain't retiring a pat. He's too butthurt. He'd rather retire as a 2 year buc than a 20 year patriot. It's sad he feels this way but it is what it is. He probably wouldn't turn up for his Patriots Hof. Maybe in future he wouldn't be so emotional and actually listen to his dad who said as much 10 years ago. He wanted out, got out and is upset he's out lol.
Apparently not. 😂😂🤣 didn’t even get a mention. Just like Peyton isn’t the Colts. He’s a Bronco, he hates the Colts.
Nope, he is done with New England.
You just know Skip will be talking about Brady for at least two years after this.

BB said it best, Players win games, coaches lose games. Those Patriots and Tampa Bay wins belong to the players.
