I've been thinking the same thing. but I startedto find myself cheering for the “old guy” that was no longer needed. And realized I had never actually researched his past history. The past two years have been my favorite of watching the NFL and I really wish I would have noticed it earlier. It's Next year is gonna suck! Never thought I'd say that.. But I'm a Tom Brady fan for life now. Watching documentaries about this guy for the past two years has taught me more about winning in life than anything. I don't need to wish him good luck in retirement because I know he’ll win that too!!

He wasn’t retiring from the Patriots, he was retiring from the Buccaneers. When you leave a company and retired another company, you don’t mention the last company I worked with. Tom always showed a lot of respect to the fans of New England’s and the organization.

I'm absolutely sure when Tom Brady does his HoF speech in Canton he will most definitely place a lot of his speech towards the Patriots and the Pats organization.
But on "his day" to announce his retirement. That was "his day" to bid goodbye to what he wanted to say closing out his season. I think he already has given Patriot Fans in Foxboro a thank you for time spent there. He moved on to Tampa, and has retired a Bucs player.
But his HoF speech will be dedicated to all those that helped him throughout his long career which obviously includes the Pats.

The final QB from my childhood has retired. Watched Brady, Brees, Manning brothers, Rothlesburger, Rivers, and a couple others play the past twenty years.
*Edit* I do agree with what Colin said at the end. He could've easily got paid for signing with the Bucs. Especially after re-signing with them after winning the Super Bowl.

I own one Jersey. Bucs/Brady. My 2 year old has a Gronk/Bucs jersey. Next up Burrow/Chase. Brady was a good role model. Not perfect, but our kids could learn a lot from watching how hard he worked and how he was as a teammate and how he didn’t cry about his problems. My guy. Do you young man. On to the next chapter

Tom Brady won his 1ST superbowl against the Rams. The Rams were also the LAST team he played before retiring. The irony.
