The cable was just a generic cable I bought from the dealer. There was no branding on it. I'm in the states so I can't comment on availability in France. Thanks for the comments!
@@californiahikebike Well difficult question. In general pretty good. Now many people protest against the noise of non original exhaust pipes. Coexistence between car drivers , cyclistes and bikers is obviously difficult in town, especially in Paris where the Mayor declares war to drivers and bikers 😡. In the country, life is cool and landscape beautiful. In Europe too. Fort me I drove bikes for 50 +years (I am 85 old}. I enjoyed 3 H&D { last one Dyna super low 😋} and the Rebel will be my last one. Tempus Fugit ! Take care !
@@yvesfarbos647 That's awesome! The 50 year part and glad to see you are still riding! Too bad about in the city but good reason to stay in the "wild!"
It's always a good idea to disconnect the negative from the battery before working on any electrical. Connect the positive for the trickle charger first then connect the negative trickle charger lead and negative lead to the battery post. Good luck. Don't forget to throw me a subscribe and help the channel!
Lost you when it's time to remove the screws for the leads. Still not sure how you physically got to those. Positive seems completely capped off by the red piece and inaccessible. Wish this was a step by step video with slightly better camera angles and more detailed explanations.
Yeah I did the vid after the fact. I'll try to take a look this weekend since it's been a while. I know I removed both side plates for easier access. Probably a good idea just to redo the whole thing.
How to videos are a lot more helpful when you show rather than tell someone how to do it, but thanks for trying to help
Thanks for posting this, i plan on doing the exact same installation to yours, are you using the optimate charger?
Yep sure am! Same one I use for my Beemer!
Hi ! Thanks for this useful vidéo. What is the model of waterproof cables you put on . Is this model available in france ?

Excellent! Thank you so much brother🙏🏽!!
You're welcome!
This is about what you did as opposed to how you do it instructional guide.
Be glad to answer any questions. But you're right. I made the video after the fact because it was pretty simple.
Does it matter if I put negative or positive side on first?

Why do you have to remove both panels?
It's easier to reach the battery posts which are on opposite sides.
where are the battery posts??
At 3:00 the positive post is under that red plastic cap. The negative is also on the top of the battery but on the opposite side.
The video explanation is 5 times more complicated that it should be!
😂🤣😂 And some say not enough. Gotta love youtube.
