I'm glad you showed me all the trouble it takes to access the battery. All the more reason to attach a battery tender wire with easy access without having to remove the seat! Git-R-Done. You would think that Honda would include a battery tender with a tough battery access like this one.
@@sharetvph I bought a 2023 Honda Rebel 500 on 9/4/23. I love it. I see their is a kit that will put the controls forward.... I might go for that - I'm 6'00 tall. I received the jump seat and the passenger back rest/luggage rack today. It looks like the windshield (small one) will not arrive for 3-4 weeks (bummer). I'm 62 years old. I have a Honda Monkey too. Love it. I live in Florida where I can use them all year. I need to find foot pegs for the jump seat. Everything I see is outrageously priced. Any suggestions?
@@MorinJay Hi Sir! Actually when it comes accessories you can also check aliexpress but be sure to check the company and reviews before ordering. But again these are oem only for accessories I think they are good enough. Enjoy your new bike ! Ride safe!:)
I got so frustrated changing this battery that i stripped the phillip screws putting it on the new one XD. Hope it doesnt come loose and i hope i dont need to get access to it anytime soon. Thank god for the easy access battery tender tho

poor video. So how do you remove the reed clip does it come out by going up or back. Keep your fingers out of the way.
