Great tip I learned from Eric the Car Guy... If you want to get the tie rod end out of the drag link or a ball joint out of a steering knuckle... Hit the thing it goes through. It works most of the time...
Wow. Excellent instructional video. Will be helpful when I put the new suspension on My Camaro subframe. I plan to put it together off the car which may pose a problem with compression the coil spring to get the spindle on. we'll see. Thanks for the vid.
Gibson watching you work on that steering on that 63, reminds me when I rebuilt mine on my 61 Apache! Lemme tell ya something, that stuff is pretty stubborn when it been on there for 55 years!!

I just put together my steering on my 63 stepside, but the idler arm bolts that came with the kit were too long. if you know what dimensions of the bolts are can you let me know?

How did you get the lower control arm bumper pads in? I used some WD40 and a big C clamp and slid right in. Brakes are going on today! Great videos! Keep them coming.
Hey Steve, what was the torque spec on the idler, pitman arm to the drag link? Also what was the torque on the inner and outer tie rod ends? And, did you get to an alignment shop yet?
First time I've seen your parts cleaning setup. Have you considered the cheap Harbor Freight cabinet with the cheap self built upgrade options? Total investment ends up well under $300 and the shop vac added to it keeps all the dust to a minimum.

Question, any suggestion on how to find a Lower A-Arm for passenger side without breaking the bank. Carpart.com delivered one that had the wrong size Ball Joint. Thanks

Nice work. Probably not the best idea to bang on those tie rods ends like that though. Tie rod poppers are dirt cheap.

Pulled the torque specs off the Internet 67/ 72 truck forum I believe it was haven’t got an alignment yet
