- In this video, Jesse from Level 7 Motorsports is walking us through the benefits of upgrading to a quick ratio Borgeson steering box in conjunction with his collapsible steering shaft and joints. I must admit: THIS IS THE BEST STEERING SET-UP I'VE HAD.

Have that steering box on my c10. Def worth every penny!
Cool to see quality parts for the non-hardcore guys that make real improvements.
That’s what it’s all about
Every time you come out with a video like this, I add stuff to my “to do” list for my K5 build.
Right on! 🤘🏼
I’ve really enjoyed seeing what y’all are doing with Mud and this was a really good episode, with good info on steering boxes! This is one bad C-10 and an awesome stance and motor sounds great! Thanks
Definitely something to consider for my '71 Sierra! Great info as always!😎
Borgeson makes an Anti-Vibe U-Joint which they recommend be at the last coupling to the column. I have one on my 37 Chev PU. It's not as sloppy as a Rag joint.
Awesome!
Heck yea Robbie, I want a ride in it man..!
I FRIGG'N LOVE THE WAY THAT TRUCK SOUNDS!
THANK YOU!
thanks for the review im gonna add that to the list of mods to get!🤘
Right on!
Awsome stuff 👌
Thanks for watching!
I have that box on my 68 short bed. Really can’t wait for warm weather to try it out.
I’ve been very impressed
I was just on their site looking at this stuff for my 87. Hoping to start making some progress on it this fall
Awesome!
So you should find a big difference in the steering in that from Teddy. Gotta say; I LOVE those wheels, they suit the truck so well!
Had one installed on my 72 long Box C10 last week and anxious to see how the will steer and feel compared to before.
Looks great. What was that steering column you mentioned?
im gonna be completely honest when i saw those rims in the parts video for Mississippi mud i thought to my self those cant look right on there but man seeing those rims on the truck make it look suu good 🤤 i hope you never put any other rims
I'm sure borgeson makes good stuff, but if I had a Saginaw box, I would get a quick ratio from Lee Power Steering. They are the leaders in Saginaw boxes. Fully rollerized. They even have their own formula of fluid.
Again this is a box for guys wanting a sporty street truck. I do agree with you that a Lee box is very good! I actually had a fast, variable ratio Lee box on my yellow truck years ago. It was great but these guys are not looking for a $1500 box.
Prob a stupid question, but will that steer box and shaft work on the stock column for an 87 R10? Trying to just bolt on something better, not a great mechanic, but cheaper to do it myself. Thank you
Would it fit , 1989 gmc sierra, k2500 ...I need to replace mind ...or would it be to much
What style and size are the fittings for the steering box lines? I’m trying to convert mine to AN line
Will this steering box work for a 82 c30?
Did you ever figure out what the hole ontop of the cab was for?
I’ve got an 87 with the same hole.
Would this be the same application for K10?
Will this work on a 79 c30?
I need to find someone who has one of these installed so I can feel the difference. My '72 Monte turns way too easy for the amount of HP. Not the most comfortable feeling.
Will it work for a 77 c20 truck
Seeing Jesse on their got me, wondering where the part two is to his yellow truck rebuild
It's coming! We have something special coming on it. Coordinating schedules now so we can finish filming it all. :)
@@UNITEDBYTRUCKS loved the first one, watched it from start to finish. You killed it on the first one I’ve been looking forward to seeing the second one for a long time. Keep it up.
Where can I meet the UBT guys?
U got one for a 75 K10?
So.... did we make it to Dino's three months ago or nah? Lol I'm ready see the trip!! 🤣
Just relax. Lol everything is real-time on Instagram if you wanna jump over there. Can’t edit and build fast enough to keep up.
@@UNITEDBYTRUCKS awesome! Thanks for all of the good content. It inspires me to work on my junk.
Where did you get that column from?
My friend Scott Stivers makes them.
My shaft is collapsible as well but not as impressive. Sorry im stupid and immature. Good shit boys
Bahaha
need more info on that steering column
Check the final assembly video. All details there!
@@UNITEDBYTRUCKSsame question I have? What’s the title of the video didn’t see one called finally assembly and the few I picked didn’t cover the steering column
Still not able to find contact information on the shorten steering column?
Can you provide a contact for Scott Stivers ? I think you said he was located in Florida. You mentioned he provided your steering column.
Any word on contacting him for a column?
No contact information provided!
Way over-priced
You should see their 300 dollar battery box
Go 9:1!
Do you have that steering for for the 88-98 chevy C1500 trucks?
Jesse has them listed on their site: www.levelsevenmotorsports.com
@@UNITEDBYTRUCKS awesome thanks!!
