SMH... i will never understand the wasting good engines culture they have going on. makes my heart bleed to see that most of these sand dune climb cars for example didnt even last 2 seconds because all the sand is going directly into the turbos. i hate this beyond measure.

We use the term Dubai here very loosely because that's what people recognize. So when people say " we are in Dubai " It mostly just means " We are in the United Arab Emirates " in general which is a massive place by it self.

Years ago I lived in Nevada and every summer we would go to Sand Mountain for the sand drag nationals. It was a 3 day event. It's the only white sand mass in Nevada and the whole mountain and surrounding area of sand moves about one inch every year.

We also raced sand, here in San Diego, Ca [ASRA] about 25 years ago alcohol funny car ran 3.0 av and thought that was fast this is a different level.
When we used to race top fuel at the sand drags in California it was a 1000 ft. track in 3.3 to 4 seconds.
That 4000 hp samd monster was just MENTAL.

It's probably about the same as running a similar powered drag car in the states. Same motors, trans, chassis and so on.
