- Long time between drinks, my friends!
Check out this gorgeous ceramic dish I created for my son's amazing girlfriend 🥰
I used #copic in the colour: lipstick rose, and a little argyle purple, also with the old faithful: pinanta brass by #jacquard and 100% isopropyl alcohol.
I used all my usual air tools (air bulb, air brush and hairdryer) because they each serve their own purpose and strength for helping me to control the ink.
When you choose ceramic for your inks, you need to make sure it's glazed. Bisque will absorb the inks, and they won't flow the way you want them to.
Inks like to climb up the sides of ceramic dishes, so you'll need to clean those edges down so they're not too high for your resin coating. (Just something I've observed, and figure is noteworthy).
Even if you're using resin, the inks still need to be sealed with Krylon Kamar, because resin is a solvent and will reactivate or bleed your inks.
Ceramics are great because the ink doesn't stain the surface (99% of the time), so you can rework as much as you like without being bound to any staining hindering your designs.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE KEEP MAKING VIDEOS!!!!! Tutorials especially!
Ahh thank you! I love your enthusiasm! ❤️
@@CoolBreezeArtStudio I find there are a lot of "tutorials" on here but few that really hit home. Your videos do! I've even reached out to a few people asking if they do private lessons and either got a rude response or no response. I stopped asking!
@@littlesistersoaps7653 I'm so happy i can convey myself in ways that work for you!
It's such a bummer that you've had negative interactions, i really hope they're a rare occurrence 😕
I could talk about art all day 😅

Bree this was so cool to watch.
Thank you! ❤
This is amazing Bree, I’m just starting out and wondered how long you have to wait till you use the Kamar Varnish and then is there a waiting time until resining. Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful piece of art. 😊
Thanks so much! ❤
You can leave the art for a day before you use the kamar and it'll be fine. I have sealed it the same day when I've been in a time crunch though, and everything was fine. Give it a day before using resin after that as well. People say some things need to 'gas off' so I figure the 24 hours gives it some breathing time. 😊
@@CoolBreezeArtStudio thanks so much Bree. I wasn’t sure if it was like acrylic pouring where I usually wait 3-4 weeks. I really appreciate you getting back to me.
I love you ❤️
I love YOU! ❤️
WOW love this so pretty and love the colors 😍 can you tell me what your favorite brand of alcohol ink is and why ?
Thank you! Copic are my favourites, and Ranger are a close second. I like the colour range and thwy move well. There have been some cheap inks in the past that have moved a little oddly to me, so I have settled on those brands. Pinata is also very good, I just don't tend to reach for their colours, unless it's the brass. 😊
@@CoolBreezeArtStudio Thank you and more videos please 😁
