I use to clean Waste Management buildings over 15yrs ago and said this would be a good entrepreneurial journey.
All good tips. Free advertising is always good and DEFINITELY investing money into some is good. Just watch your budget. .Cold calls always scare people but it can work.

I have found that cold calling works about 45% of the time. You aim for the new company's send emails as well as call and contact the person in charge. Your selling yourself. I say don't give up on a company right away keep trying up to 5 nos. Always go back differently and offer and know more each time. You could catch them right time.

I'm jus doing residential. It'll be great to do commerical for more money. I jus bought buisness cards to advertise. I have a partner i added on the card as well. I'm hoping this helps gain local leads . I plan to ask stores if i can leave my cards in the store.

Don't go with AJ...Horrible leads. They give you some shady leads.

Im at my lowest, seem like im doing everything i can to build my cleaning company, is it anyway i can get your help as a mentor . I spent most of my money and almost at 0 and uncertain if ill have a place to live in the near future
Ive Been there boss dont panic. Just know your story will be even greater because of this part. don't over complicate it if your at 0. Just work. Your just looking for work right now. just ask people if you can be of service. in my opinion if you take that approach with some humility you will be well on your way. i only say this because its exactly what i did.

Hey man, don't relent! Try having a business page and do regular postings. And if you have small funds, drive traffic to your page. Use smallest budget possible to start

I've been in business for seven months, i only have one small account, i have sent out hundreds of fliers but still no new customers or calls.
Don’t rely on one avenue of marketing. Remember each different style of marketing you try has a level of skill involved as well. Also dont think about yourself. Think of the customer. Do they even read flyers? Are your flyers appealing to them. Would they rather a company they saw on google? Get me?
Also, rather than just flyers, have you tried advertising?

Before Covid this was a $72Billion (yes with a B.) industry. It’s probably at least doubled if not tripled by now. Plenty of millionaires in the industry and plenty more or started and sold to go on to new businesses ventures. Yes. There’s plenty money here.

In short, i only do commercial, i dont do anything non scalable so I don’t ever personally make cold calls, and i have a very unconventional approach to marketing/branding & advertising. If i went all in on all platforms I wouldn’t be able to fulfill half the work. As i build systems and structure i can accept more and larger jobs. Video on this soon. Thanks for the comment.
