I have watched this video like 10-15 times with awe and respect until I finally gathered courage to do it all by myself today! And surprisingly I succeeded. It wasn't easy but I know I will get better! Thank you Mary and Amy! Love from India ❤️
mzgabbster Your rabbit is probably afraid of the clipper because it has been mishandled in the past and is traumatised. You have to make your rabbit trust you :) do somethinf that it likes or give it a treat while it is on the table. Try to make it feel good. Then, grab it like in this video and try with one nail. If it responds well. keep going. Take a break between each paw to pet it and give a treat. This technique really works wonders!
There is one treat my rabbit loves in unexplainable way, but after nail clipping he doesn't want to see me or that treat. I really care of my rabbit, I never cause him pain while clipping nail, but he hate to be picked up and not being able to move from me when he want to. He want to go out and I pet him until he stops for 2 seconds, then I do this press-press-clip and after I cut it and wanna take breath to pass on other nail he start jumping with his legs that he want to escape :D When I clip his nails it is all day process :D
Haha I used to clip my cat's claws when he was asleep (he was elderly and wasn't able to keep them short enough on his scratching-tree). I'd do 2 or 3 and he'd wake up and get grumpy, so then I'd have to wait for him to fall asleep again :D
I tried to do this but my rabbits would not let me. So I was searching on how to do it a different way that my bunny’s would let me do. So what I ended up do doing was put them on a table, wrapping a hand tail around them, and cut their nails like that. They were so calm that one of the two actually fell asleep! I was gave them little treats (lettuce) after each nail so they’d know they were doing a good job. But for two bunnies who HATE being picked up, this method really worked.
I have been absolutely terrified of clipping my rabbit's nails for months, because he hates being handled so much. Tonight I finally bit the bullet and tried this technique, and to my amazement my rabbit remained almost as calm as the one in this video. I cannot thank you enough for sharing this.
On behalf of me and my rabbit, I want to personally thank you for this video! Brownie's previous owners had never trimmed her nails before, and since she's 1.5 years old now, they were quite long. I had tried everything I could think of (distracting with treats, clipping the nails while petting her, gently holding her down while my mom coaxed her paws out enough to reach the nails) and nothing worked. My bunny is fairly aggressive (again, this was because her previous owners mistreating her), so I was worried this wouldn't work. But now her nails are at a safer length, and we'll continue using this method until they're trimmed to perfection. Again, thank you so much!
Thank you so much! I was so anxious about clipping Binky's (my bunny) nails. He's a rescue bunny and I worked so hard to develop the beautiful relationship we now have, but he hates to be picked up and would always run away from my bf, who's the only one that tried. I was scared that he would dislike me if I did, so I left my bf the job to get him used to handling him, but Binky would always just run away from him and get sheltered beside me. So today we've decided that the nail clipping had to be done, and we found your video. I was so anxious just trying to pick him up, so I was shocked because not only he let me...but he was so docile with me!! I followed your instructions and gave him lots of kisses and kept talking to him to reassure him, but I feel like he was actually the one that was reassuring me haha. Anyway, thank you so much for this video! I'm really grateful for it and Binky thanks you too! He's back here happily zooming around the house and enjoying his apple treat!^^
This video is the most useful video when it comes to trimming animal nails. The pulse pulse clip thing is great. I first watched this when my rabbit was very young, and now he’s 11. Thank you!
I really appreciate you guys uploading this. My rabbit's nails had been ridiculously long and it was time we got a trimming schedule, I was just too scared of hurting her. I just got done, and she was completely pain-free, happy, and best of all, it was easy. Thank you :)
You have no idea how much this series helped me raise my first rabbit, this woman is a genius. Five years later I still come back here every time when it’s time for us to do my girl’s nails.
Great advice about the "press, press, clip," wet my Holland's paw a bit to expose the nail, and to jiggle their back foot. This makes nail clipping so much easier. Thanks!
I'm gobsmacked. "Trim Pokeynose's nails" has been on my to-do list for half a year. I have clipped nails before. It was never easy, but doable. Not with Pokey. She goes for my jugular if I even touch her foot. So today I knuckled down and watched a dozen videos for tips. This is the one I had the most faith in, and reading the comments by people with fussy rabbits, who were able to finally clip them, gave me confidence. It was easy-peasy! She didn't even hold a grudge. Thank you.
Thank you for this wonderful and helpful video! This video made me confident enough to trim my rabbit's nails on my own without getting help. I don't hold my rabbit like that, but I use press-press-clip every time I trim my rabbit's nails! It really is the best tip ever. I'm in a facebook group (about rabbits) with almost 6 000 members. Every time someone asks for advice about nail trimming they get a link to this video. Another tip: If your bunny gets stressed out (or fed up), just cut a few nails at a time. Come back and do the other nails another time, maybe the day after. I think it's better to do it less and more often, so it's not such a big ordeal every time.

You can tell she has spent so much time with rabbits and really customized this method. I hate to see a rabbit tranced on its back so it's wonderful to see her gain and keep this one's trust with such expertise.
Absolutely amazed! My rabbit really doesn't like being handled very much and it was such a nightmare before when we had to cut her nails but this method worked perfectly! Could 't believe how calm she was, Thankyou so much for posting this video, it really was a massive help! :)
This video singlehandedly taught us how to trim our bunny's nails. Excellent description of that to expect. The trimmers shown in the video will get dull. Once dull, they can injure so keep them sharp or buy a higher quality set of clippers. Using this method we have never clipped the nails too short. Our rabbit doesn't mind anymore as she knows what to expect. She will tear around the room and jump around afterward to celebrate.THANK YOU!!!
This method worked PERFECTLY for my Rex who does NOT like to be held. Thank you so much for taking a completely overwhelming (for me) task and turning into something that's just a no-biggie. 💜💜
Thank you, thank you, thank you! Pumpkin is a beautiful Lions head that was dumped in a neighbors yard. They gave him to us to care for. We tried to find the owner and eventually got a response that his name was pumpkin, he's 5 yrs old and was fixed. A family member he trusted him to (due to a new allergy) said he "ran away" we told him the story. We have made him a part of our family now and all was great ... until... he turned into Freddie Krueger . The nails were like knives sticking straight out. Long story short, using this video as a guideline, the first trim (they are super long) went fantastic and he remained calm throughout. Pumpkin says "Bravo!"
This woman, Mary E. Cotter, Ed.D., LVT, is a GODSEND. Thank you so much! Nail clipping has been the most stressful part of owning a rabbit for me and this is amazing.
This worked so well for my rabbit! Nail trims used to be traumatic for both of us but using this technique he was so relaxed and happy! He tooth purred and licked my hand while I was able to easily trip all of his nails. Thank you so much Mary, your dedication to rabbits is inspiring and these Howcast videos are so informative. Cooper is a happy bun and I'm a happy mama!
I have owned a rabbit for 7 years and always get someone else to cut her nails. After watching your video I finally decided to do it myself. You made it so easy. Thank you!
Well maybe your rabbit has had a bad experience with you or you moved to fast with bonding time with your bun. Just try to bond with your bunny (great way to bond is have your rabbit watch you do your homework or watch tv or anything that he/she can see you do) don't get frustrated if your bun doesn't want to have anything to do with you after you've tried bonding, just repeat the process of bonding for days weeks or possibly even months depends on how bad it is. Don't break the bond otherwise you'll have to start all over again.
Well. If a rabbit is scared it will freak out. (ik cuz from experience) find out what your rabbit likes and dosent like, i found out that if the rabbit is scared... cover its eyes till it stops freaking out a bit. and try not to restrain it from being and running around a bit. if you can build a little pen, that way it can still play with you and run around. i did that for my rabbit.
OMGosh, thank you thank you *thank you!!!!* I just trimmed my rabbit's nails tonight and it took 10 minutes max! That's not to say that my rabbit Daisy didn't struggle at all, she did some, but there was much less kicking and squirming, and I did them _all_ in one go (with short breaks in-between right after she started to struggle some, or got out of my hold) instead of needing 2-3 goes (both front paws, then both back paws later, or if she was struggling particularly badly, then just one paw before trying 2+ days later)! I'll be honest, I was quite skeptical of this at first, especially since she hates being held, or even just her one paw held, but even with her rapid breathing telling me she wasn't comfortable with it, she stayed still long enough for me to trim most if not all nails on one paw before she tried to squirm free. Onace again, Daisy and I thank you for this much simplier method of trimming her nails!
I just wanted to say to you guys thank you so much for these videos!! I got my little girl about a year and half ago. She was left alone after Easter so I took her in and had know idea where to start. These videos have been a blessing thank you guys so much!! My angle Lu bunny is so happy know. She's my baby!!
Ive had my bun for 2 years and I just tried this method- what a game changer! Usually we dont get through all four paws because she freaks out but she was just as calm as this one in the video- Im amazed! Best advice ever!
I have a rex rabbit, and yes, those nails are curly! Nail trimming was always a two-person deal for us. But I tried this and my Camila bun responded very well! She's a fighter, but she didn't put up much of a fight. It's a miracle!!! It took me only about 10 mins to do my first time. (I think I'll go faster here on out.) Thank you, thank you for this very helpful video.
I want to say “thank you ladies!!” I really appreciate these videos. Especially this one. My baby is a year old and I have not trimmed her nails. She roams around outside and around the house. That seems to have been sufficient enough to keep her nails at a reasonable length, however, she hasn’t been able to go outside and play as much because of winter, so her nails have grown quite a bit. I have watched several videos and you guys seem to have the best technique and one that I feel I can do! Thank you!!!
I just tried this technique thinking that there would be no way it would work. It did and now I have one happy, stress free bunny and I've saved myself £20 doing it at the vets. I swore that it's a two man job. Thank you for the video.
Thank you so much for uploading this golden video. I always postpone trimming my rabbits' nails because he really hates having his feet touched, his nails are black, and he has really hairy feet. Usually it takes me about an hour to trim his nails (between me not being able to find his nails in the mess of hair, not being able to see the quick, and him resisting big time. I just trimmed his nails using this technique and it took 10 minutes. I can't thank you enough!
I know this was 6 years ago.. but i can't tell you how thankful i am for this video :) I have a 4 month old baby lionhead and he needed his nails cut and just managed to do it all.. really easy and a simple because of this video.. thank you😊
I just wanted to say that I had watched this video - about 5 times in the last 3 years I have owned rabbits and never used this technique because I was too scared. I live alone now and people can't help me clip my bunnies nail's. I did this today and it was easy and painless, it even took less time than when my parents or friends would help me. Thank you so much!
Just tried this technique to trim my rabbits nails and I have never seen her so calm and docile. She usually hates being picked up and handled, but she was perfect :) thanks for the great tips!
This tutorial is so simple and effective. I have never had luck trimming any of my rabbits' nails and usually just go to the vet. But I followed this technique and it WORKED. Much happy dancing was done! I only needed to do the back nails and was shocked that my normally twitchy rabbit sat up and let me trim away! Thanks!
This worked amazingly well. I have a 2.5 year old Flemish Giant that refused to sit still no matter what I did to entice her to allow me to clip her nails. She used to fight me every step of the way, leaving me or her or both of us bleeding. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS VIDEO!!
I used your technique to clip both my bunnies' nails today, it was a piece of cake! Even my girl, who doesn't like being held too much, was pretty relaxed. Thank you!
Thank you! I never thought anyone would be able to trim my rabbits nails. She hates having her legs touched, and hates being restrained. I followed your instructions and it worked! Thank you again.
What about rabbits who snort, scratch and struggle while you clip their nails? Can you please make a video about how to trim fussy rabbit nails? Thank you.
+OscarBunny LOL. I agree Oscar. It seems to me that we (real life bunny owners) are all stuck with the pissed-off, snorting, scratching and wiggling bunnies while these instructors in the video get all the well-behaved ones. I have two bunnies. I love them with all my heart. But they hate to be picked up and I go through hell every 4-6 weeks when I try to get them in a carrier and take them to the vet to get their nails clipped. It's not a pretty sight.
I have been given a rabbit to foster from a friend...and she says OH the nails need to be trimmed.....arghhhh THANKS. They have only been cut once in a year.....this video is a god send...thank you
Hi! I have two male rabbits about 2 years old and their nails became a bit too long. Thanks to your video, I found enough courage to cut their nails. I was not able to exactly hold them like you did (had to use my lap). But the cutting technique worked well. No injuries to my bunnies. The 1st one was a bit harder to convince but the 2nd one trusted me more and made it much easier. I think I could have cut a bit more, but I am just happy that I did not hurt them and trimmed about 5mm. Cheers!!!
this video helped me SOOOO much! trimming his nails was a nightmare before, but with this I just trimmed all of his nails in one sitting with more ease and less stress than ever before\!! THANK YOU!!
I clipped my bunny’s nails for the first time today and this video really helped! She was really calm and that made it easy for me. Just a tip for people with restless rabbits: have food that the rabbits likes in front of them. This should hopefully keep the rabbit distracted 🙂
Thank you so much for this video. We have a rescue rabbit who ended up at said rescue because he had a very badly broken hind leg. It doesn't seem to hinder him any, but he HATES having his feet touched. Also, due to said broken foot, one of the toes on his right hind leg is dislocated, and he really hates having that nail cut. He struggles really hard when my husband and myself would try to cut his nails. I tried this method today, and he was super calm until the last nail, and after a short break let me to the final nail too! (I did his left hind leg last, so he didn't struggle at all when cutting the dislocated toe's nail, I think I may have pulled the hair a bit with that last nail). Now I can cut his nails myself, and he'll be a much happier bun. Thanks so much :)
Hi I want to really thank you both for all your advice, I got my Netherland Dwarf last month and so far we're doing great. Just managed to do all his back nails on my own. Front paws are slightly more difficult! You're one of my favourite channels.
Thank You! The first time I cut my rabbits nails myself I did so before seeing this video and he allowed me to cut them no problem. Now 6 months or so later, I attempted to do so again (expecting the same behaviour) and he constantly fought me, as such I only managed to do one nail yesterday and another today, he also hated me afterwards and stayed away sulking for a good 12 hours.... However I have just followed your instructions, and he allowed me to cut his nails without any fighting! He just laid there and accepted it. Even when one time I attempted to cut his nail too short, he kicked his leg, but immediately afterwards let me continue cutting without any problems. What's more amazing is I then retrimmed them all a bit shorter afterwards, and after the whole experience he is now laying right next to me, letting me pet him and is not sulking or scared at all! I just missed the dew claws for now as the both appeared to be reasonably short, as as he has long hair on his feet I cannot see them very easily.
Thank you so much for posting this video. I was never confident cutting my rabbits nails; I was always afraid I would cut them too short and hurt them. My rabbits are very trusting of me and I didn't want to damage that trust. Now I confidently cut the nails of all three of my rabbits. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Thank-you! I've got a bunny I'm caring for for someone else, her nails are insanely long. I've done cat and dog nails, but was scared to do bunny. I feel confident now. I will try this tomorrow. Thank-you for this video. You have been very thorough about what to do and why to do it.
This video is so awesome! At first, I laughed at the thought of attempting this with my highs-trung, 12 pound New Zealand rescue. He's a nail trimming nightmare. I cannot believe how well this worked!
My bunny hates being picked up! I was so nervous about cutting his nails because I didn't want him to panic or hurt himself! I followed every step of this video and he was absolutely fine! I still can't believe it! He was calm, did the little foot tap thing but never tried to jump out of my arms! Thank you 🐰
I'm in the research phase of owning a bunny and wasn't even aware their nails had to be clipped until this video. I'm so glad there's a technique I can attempt from the start. :)
thank you so much! my rabbit always hates me for a few days after i trim his nails. i just finished trimming his nails after watching this vid. now hes sitting beside me on his blanket doing his happy little jumps :)
I just used this technique on both my rabbits and I am AMAZED of how well it worked out. I have a mini rex and a holland lop with long hair, and this technique was perfeclty fine with both size but the only down side is that it was hard to do the front paws of my long-haired bunny since her neck hair was in the way. I just wet it a little bit like she does with the paws in the video and it was fine!
I cannot thank you enough for this tutorial! Whenever I've tried to cut my bunny's nails it's been traumatic for us both. For the first time there was no squirming or flinching. My bunny is a lop so I pushed back his fur with water and it made it so much easier. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this demo. My bunnies don't love to be handled, but we all did great on our first try. I get very anxious about the process, not knowing exactly how to do it: I hate stressing them out, especially since they have black nails and it's hard to see the quick. The little tips (like squeezing for feedback before clipping, touching the pads of their hind feet, and wetting the hair) are invaluable. Two thumbs up.
Thank you so much for this!! I was really scared to trim my bunny nails myself as she hates being picked and doesn't let me touch her paws at all... Plus she has black nails. Just tried your technique and it totally worked. It was only hard at the beginning cuz she kept on running away from me and wouldn't stay still... But after a couple of tries she just let me do it. Less than 10 min and we were done! Thank you so much!!
How cool to randomly stumble upon this "how-to" video with my favorite bunny mom, Amy Sedaris! This was very helpful. Thank you so much to the rabbit guru!
This is so helpful! Trimming nails has always been a great struggle for both me and my youngest bunny. But today I tried this on her and it actually worked! She was super calm and I got to trim all of her nails without any problem, afterwards she even fell asleep on the blanket.
I finally tryed this out today. It did not go nearly as smooth as in this video, however it did enable me to trim both of by rabbit's nails all by my self and I'm so proud! :) I think they could probably sense how insecure I was and that is why they gave me some trouble. I hope when I get more confidence they will also feel more secure. But also I think it is a matter of temper. One of my rabbits just didn't like it at all and it took me 15 minutes to cut his nails while my other rabbit reacted just like the one in the video - well almost :) I didn't expect to be able to do this - both my rabbits hate being handled and lifted. Thank you so much for this great video! :)
hey i don't know if you will see this but i really just wanted 2 thank you, i have been having such a hard time with trimming my rabbits nails and he did just fine w this technique, thank you so much.
I thought that this is impossible. I have two bunnies and their claws were a bit long and we do not have bunny specialist vets near, only 45 minutes travel away. The one near to us trimmed their claws that 2-3 of them bled. I never imagined I could do this alone Everyone I asked to help me, refused not wanting my bunnies to hate them… 😂 So I was all alone. So today I said to myself, okay, give this a chance. And it is a MIRACLE. They both only hiperventilated but let me cut their claws without any problem and without bleeding. Thank you so much! I will be forever grateful!
Success! My bunny was really nervous when getting his nails cut, but after using your techniques, he was much more calm. Still a bit nervous, but much less jumpy with the help of some treats and calming music ☺️
Thank you so much! This was super effective for me and my rabbit! He is used to being picked up and held but never was cooperative when it came to cutting nails until I tried this. He was struggling a little in the beginning until I found a good position for the both of us. The clipping noise was startling him at first, but then he got used to it and relaxed. Started with just the tiniest tips and moved in little by little, by the end, this was the shortest I've ever been able to get them. Stopped at each nail when he started to give a small tug during test pressure.
Oh my gosh, this worked so well! I've always been nervous to do my own bunny's nails because she doesn't like to be held. I just did her nails myself using these instructions and it went so smoothly and quick!
Just to let others know, I tried this and it really worked! I wasn't able to pull the bunnies back feet out like she did, and I didn't get those back claws the first time out, but I just did my best and was especially careful to just be slow and patient. I have three Lionhead rabbits and I got all four feet done on all of them, by myself. I never would have even tried if I hadn't seen this video!
I was a dog groomer for 20 years so I was surprised that I was so nervous to trim our bunny's nails. This has given me the confidence to give it a go. If I can do cats & dogs a bunny should be fairly easy! Thank you :)
This is so useful, didn't think the bunny could let you know, but actually my rabbit growls if it's too close to the vessel so, definitely a great tip!
Thank you for this excellent video. I've tried this technique twice and it made a difficult job much easier. Our bunny, who is not so calm as this one, is also a rex with very curved dew claws. I now slide a hand mirror underneath his paws when clipping those.
so.... my rabbit hates, i mean HATES being carried or picked up. but after some good amount of petting and getting him relaxed, this method worked! Im flabbergasted!!
Thanks Mary and Amy! I had your original nail clipping video Mary and went looking for it online to share with someone who needed advice....so glad I found your updated version! Thanks for advocating for bunnies Amy!
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I dread doing this every time and just using these simple tips, it has been really quick and pleasant for all of us. So grateful
I did it!! Chili did exactly what you said he would do! Especially the back feet! He stuck them right out for me to reach! I gave him blueberries and a freeze dried banana slice as a treat after!!
"To show you you have sinned" IM DYING
I just loved that too!!

I was so scared to cut my bunnies nails, because Marshmallow loves to run, but this totally worked and I feel like a super hero! Thank you!
YAY I LOVE YOU HAPPY PUPPY TRUFFLES!!!!
@@andriabittle9077 Thank you! ;>
i named my white rabbit marshmallow too, i feel not very original, lol
This is the only way to do it really. Saved me too
I have watched this video like 10-15 times with awe and respect until I finally gathered courage to do it all by myself today!
And surprisingly I succeeded. It wasn't easy but I know I will get better!
Thank you Mary and Amy! Love from India ❤️
Can I get a video on how to trim a rabbit who goes into full on demon mode when his feet are touched or the nail clippers come out?
Ahaha Im with you on that!
mzgabbster Your rabbit is probably afraid of the clipper because it has been mishandled in the past and is traumatised. You have to make your rabbit trust you :) do somethinf that it likes or give it a treat while it is on the table. Try to make it feel good. Then, grab it like in this video and try with one nail. I have been absolutely terrified of clipping my rabbit's nails for months, because he hates being handled so much. Tonight I finally bit the bullet and tried this technique, and to my amazement my rabbit remained almost as calm as the one in this video. I cannot thank you enough for sharing this.
Thanks for writing this. My rabbit is the same way--but I am going to try this since you had success. I hope I do too!

makeupholism How much does it cost to get their nails clipped? My bunny hates when I try to cut her nails 😩
makeupholism I pay $7.
Great advice about the "press, press, clip," wet my Holland's paw a bit to expose the nail, and to jiggle their back foot. This makes nail clipping so much easier. Thanks!
"Then she'll shake the paw and show you that you've sinned..." XD

Thank you!
How come only THEIR bunnies look all cute and cuddly? my bunny tries to scratch me if I try to pick it up
Well maybe your rabbit has had a bad experience with you or you moved to fast with bonding time with your bun.
+Wifiphanloser X Well my bunny already loves me but he just gets scared
My bunny is waaaaaaay cuter than their ugly rabbits like my rabbit is so sweet
you gotta bond with it, sit on the floor with it to fell secure and protected
Thanks! This really helped me trim my rabbit's nails, and she no longer damages my bed when she's on it. Super helpful as always
My bunnie absolutely hates having anything done to her this technique is a lifesaver! Thank you! Got all her nails done in one and she was so calm x
This lady is a Bunny Whisperer.Much respect! Clipping nails with rabbits is really difficult.
I know this was 6 years ago.. but i can't tell you how thankful i am for this video :) I have a 4 month old baby lionhead and he needed his nails cut and just managed to do it all.. really easy and a simple because of this video.. thank you😊
I work at a pet store and I always tell people to watch this video! It’s such a great resource
Thank you!
OMG my rabbit would try to rip my face off it I tried to do this! Seriously hands down this woman is a goddess.
Stephanie Paul 😂 I can soo relate
Probably bond with it more
I have been given a rabbit to foster from a friend...and she says OH the nails need to be trimmed.....arghhhh THANKS.
Cheers!!!
This is the best nail clipping demonstration I've seen so far.
this video helped me SOOOO much! trimming his nails was a nightmare before, but with this I just trimmed all of his nails in one sitting with more ease and less stress than ever before\!!
Omg she is such a good girl.Wow the fact that the rabbits sometimes chew their nails is so cool😂
This is an amazing tutorial. I've used this method for my rabbit who HATES getting his nails clipped. This is the only way I do it now. Thank you!
Just did this with my rabbit for the first time. Worked like magic!
Thank you so much for all the wonderful information!
Thank you 🐰
im adopting bunnies soon and this was the part that scared me the most but you've really helped and relaxed me now thank you!
I'm in the research phase of owning a bunny and wasn't even aware their nails had to be clipped until this video. I'm so glad there's a technique I can attempt from the start. :)
That's very helpful. We are new bunny owners and are learning what to do. Thank you!
thank you so much! my rabbit always hates me for a few days after i trim his nails. i just finished trimming his nails after watching this vid. now hes sitting beside me on his blanket doing his happy little jumps :)
You're press- press - clip technic is genius! Thanks so much for sharing.
Let me just say a HUGE thank you. First time doing it and it went pretty well thanks to these tips. The hind legs tricks were just perfect!
One of my rabbits just didn't like it at all and it took me 15 minutes to cut his nails while my other rabbit reacted just like the one in the video - well almost :)
I didn't expect to be able to do this - both my rabbits hate being handled and lifted. Thank you so much for this great video! :)
hey i don't know if you will see this but i really just wanted 2 thank you, i have been having such a hard time with trimming my rabbits nails and he did just fine w this technique, thank you so much.
I tried this technique with both of my rabbits (genetic siblings - opposite personalities) and they both did AMAZING!! Thank you SOOO much!
I thought that this is impossible.
I have two bunnies and their claws were a bit long and we do not have bunny specialist vets near, only 45 minutes travel away. The one near to us trimmed their claws that 2-3 of them bled.
I never imagined I could do this alone
Everyone I asked to help me, refused not wanting my bunnies to hate them… 😂
So I was all alone.
The rabbit it sooooo grumpy! 😂 she’s honking so much, yet you do it like a pro!
These videos always feature the calmest of rabbits. It's impossible for us to do this with out bunny so we have to take her to the vet D:
This works!!! Never been able to cut her nails alone and this is perfect. Thank you.
yea my baby girl said HA touch my foot? Just simply grab my paw??? FOOL!
You should write a book as a bunny. Still laughing!
Oh my gosh, thank you so much for this video! Nail trimming has never gone so smoothly!
Ur bunny is so damn calm...If my bunny would ever be this calm,I will be flying in the sky(because of happiness)...🤣
This is so useful, didn't think the bunny could let you know, but actually my rabbit growls if it's too close to the vessel so, definitely a great tip!
Wow this completely changed our nail cutting sessions. Thank you so much
Thank you for this excellent video.
What a pretty bunny! She behaved very well. Thanks for the video. I love Amy too.
Thanks Mary and Amy! I had your original nail clipping video Mary and went looking for it online to share with someone who needed advice....so glad I found your updated version! Thanks for advocating for bunnies Amy!
I've been rewatching this video everytime I have to cut my bunny's nails to help me go through the steps :)
This is great advice. I'm thinking of getting a rabbit, and now I know what to do. Totally gonna subscribe
You make it look so easy and it helped me trim my babies' nails so much!
