I recently adopted a bunny who was badly neglected for about four years. The lady told me his name was bambam because he would constantly thump in the tiny dirty cage he'd been locked in. He did it exactly one time in the month that I've had him and it was when he was meeting my cat for the first time. His name is Bambino now and he's free roaming and finally fed and adored the way he deserves
My bunny screamed two years ago when she had a nightmare. My heart stopped beating almost immidiately and i didn't realize i was holding my breath until she woke up after few shakes. It was a totally traumatizing event for me. I got her at the age of 8 and now I'm 18. No matter how much i matured up, i just can't imagine life without her.. Just thinking about it makes me cry, and i know her time is nearing with each passing day... I don't know what I would do without her....
I lost my rabbit of almost 12 years when I was almost 15. It's hard, but know that time heals all wounds, and while you should definitely allow yourself to grieve, it's always best to remember the good times you had with your bunny, rather than the pain you felt when you lost it.
I often hear my bunny purring as Im petting her. I'm so pleased to now know that she's enjoying it when she purrs and I've heard her occasionally sneeze ❤🐰🐇
For Sophie, she is incredibly vocal. She gulps, she grunts at both her husbun and me when in no mood, once you put her down from a snuggle/groom if you count to 3 she will thump at you like clockwork, and occasionally she snores. My Lulu purrs the most and loves to thump the song of his people late at night. My Ozzy used to hop circles around me and honk and I miss that dearly.
I need help. I have 2 8m bunnies and 2 weeks ago we got a new baby bunny who is 2m rn. I tried to introduce them one to another slowly but my older bunnies does a weird sound (almost like a burk) and attack the little one. Rn we put the younger one in a different cage near the order's giant cage but I'm afraid the the baby will be lonely and die. How do I introduce them?
@@mayaslovik5209 a bunny should be bonded ten weeks up. With eight weeks they are to tiny and can' t defend themselves. Get a room at 6 qm for all three bunnies that they don't know. When the young one is ten weeks up you put food at several places at least 3 to six places. Then you put all three rabbits in the prepared room at the same time and then watch. If they only pull a little fur what really looks rough everything will be okay. If a bunny gets bloody bit marks you have to separate them. At first watch and take time. Bonding can endure from instantly, three days or even several weeks. To make the bonding I would choose a weekend starting at lunch time or to take three days holiday. The worst is over after 2 to 3 days. Let them stick together 24/7 so the can arrange themselves in their order. Good luck!✊
I don't have any bunnies but there are quite a few wild rabbits near my house. One time when my dad was mowing, he heard a scream. Turns out he had gotten dangerously close to a rabbit nest and the mama was screaming to warn her babies to run. The bunnies were all okay in the end. He decide to mow the lawn another day.
My rabbit just passed away 2 days ago, we had him for 7 years, sadly he passed away from an old age, I can't stop thinking of him and it make me feel sad that his friend was there to witness it, she keeps going by his cage everyday looking for him. I miss him. Your videos really do make me happy so I just wanna say keep up the great work, and thank you! ❤
Sorry to hear that but the age wasn't an issue, they live for at least 10 years if their health is good and some happen to live for 13 years. I would recommend you checking on your other bun, just in case the other one was actually sick. Stay strong
My rabbit squeals happily when I get home with presents and vegetables for her. She gets very excited. I think she is a dog in a rabbit's body, she even plays with toys 🥰❤
Our rabbit also does that! Plus always waiting for us to come home after work and play ❤️ after 1 year i still dont know if our rabbit is a he/she but definitely cute and smart.
When my bun first “Oinked” I was really scared I didn’t know what was going on! 😅She does it all the time now! She was sleeping and she “oinked” and purred! It was the cutest I have ever heard!
Thank you! My bunny was snoring at night and I thought she was whining or crying I’m very relieved it just means shes having a good rest. Hopefully no respiratory issues though.
Snoring also is a sign that the rabbit is a little overweight , which is something this video missed. It's not life-threatening, it just means you may need to re-balance some of the foods she's given.
Lorelei: 8. Growls are rare unless your bunny really feels angry or stressed. My needy boy: Why do you dare to go on your phone or switch while in my presence. This followed by him literally picking up my phone with his mouth, chucking it away then rubbing his head under my hand. I wish I could tell you this was only a one-time occurance. My other two hate being picked up, so when I have to they make quiet little squeeks like the babies in this video. It breaks my heart.
Literally if I don’t pay attention to my boy he will growl, and try and grab my phone out of my hands and throw it. He is a teen I think. He goes between bothering me during class and sleeping all day
My bunny had such an attitude before she sadly passed. She’d honk and grunt at us any time we had to clean her litter box and she loved to attack the vacuum cleaner. There were several times where she’s been somewhere she wasn’t supposed to be and got pissed when we told her to leave.
Our first family bunny was a rescue who honk/oinked around the clock. Followed by a friend added who purred. Both were very happy buns in their retirement/rescue life.
Yes my bunny had an ectopic pregnancy and I wasn't even aware she was pregnant when I picked her up she started hissing. Then a few days later died. I still feel horrible
In 30 years of caring for rescue bunnies we have had one case of what I can only describe as a roar. Yes a roar. Bovver was an intact male (pure Netherland dwarf) happily grazing in a chicken mesh run in our backyard when a magpie (Australian magpie, I think the genus is Gymnorhynchus from memory) seemed to think he was some sort of gigantic mouse that required eating. The maggie swoops in towards Bov who suddenly launches himself into the air with this roar that you wouldn’t want to hear if you were out hunting. It was hilarious watching the bird suddenly start flying backwards. Whereupon Bov goes back to munching grass. The most common sound is a form of grunt plus stamp as they vent frustration at the wife & I. Typically in response to “no you are NOT supposed to be on the dining room table eating a bowl of fruit” or “will you stop eating the door frames” Regards from Oz 🇦🇺
Do you know how long bunnies can last without food? I really need to know, i own 2 bunnies, my youngest bunny (honey) is 2 years old, my oldest bunny is 3 years old, (cookie) im not sure what happened between them. but honey stopped eating about 20 minuites ago, i went to give them their food (fresh fruit and veg) she wouldnt eat it, i gave her some hay, she didnt eat it, and she looked really scared she woukdnt even move, im so worried, what should i do? How long do they last without food?
My rabbit growls as her main vocalization. She growls when playing, if I try to pet her, when I refill her food and water bowls, when the cat gets too close, if I look at her and when her blanket moves from her digging on it. She is a MASSIVE diva!! 🤣
I was looking for someone else to say this! The rescue I got my bun from warned me she was sassy and talkative but I definitely underestimated them. She’ll literally growl at anything and at first I was so scared it was bc she didn’t like me (honestly it probably was that the first few days) but she literally just does that? She’ll even growl to herself when she’s playing lmao
I only heard mine growl once. We let her run around in our garden but at some point she hid under some firewood. We tried getting her out because we were gonna go eat out, but when we tried she growled at us. That's also when I learned that bunnies could do that.
I came here to see if she's making a noise or if there's a problem, but after watching the video, I just realized she's just oinking. I'm glad and relieved that she's making oink sounds after I gave her food. Thank you so much 😭😭
Our Starry boy makes a honking/oinking sound quite often when he's hopping around us. We sit on the floor and play with him and give him the occasional bunny healthy treat which he absolutely loves. When done oinking doing binkies, he flops over for a nice nap!
i rescued the sweetest bunny ever, she just recently started oinking after about a week in my care… she won’t let me touch her still but im so so happy she’s feeling more content and safe! i hope she’ll want to cuddle soon… i have so much love for her just waiting til she’s ready
I'm so glad I found this video, because my Ruby has been Oinking at me and I didn't know what it meant, I was so scared I was hurting her so I stopped handling her! Off to snuggle my bun now!
My bun Grunts whenever I bring out the hay bag to feed more hay and runs so fast towards the bag he slides across the floor to it whilst grunting, he is so funny and cute. He does it every single time, even if its been 10 minutes since giving him his last batch of fresh hay. He growls grunts and whines when he doesn’t get his own way with getting into rooms and bites and scratches me, he is very naughty and he is adorable
I now have 7 free roam bunnies all fixed and litter trained! They make our house feel like a home. Our pit bull was raised with them and will herd them inside from the lawn when he hears the school bus for our son. They are expensive to up keep well and keep perfectly loved but so rewarding and cuddles are the best. I often find one on our pits back flopped. They are the best with kids who know how to respect animals( as all should). Our oldest rabbit is 15 years old! Cheers from the east coast! Their blinkies are the best
@@SassyDiva53 we never planned on it but we have had them dropped off or found online after they “out grew” what people thought their size or upkeep would be. We’re are so blessed to be able to provide! ( my 15 year old is still doing well but his joint are starting to fail him, we are keeping an eye out and he goes to the vet monthly until God calls him home)
@@Purrpurrbun it really does make my hubbys day when he gets off work and my son when he gets off the bus. I’m luckily enough to be a stay at home wife and bunny mama ( my son goes to school) they make the day fun!
I took my bunny for a walk the other weekend in private area with her harness and leash. Her leash got wrapped around her leg she panicked, tried running away and was screaming. It was so scary but she mostly makes purring and honking sounds
Vincent hates being brushed, so I get a lot of grunts and growls from him when I pull out the hairbuster 😪 Aside from that he makes a lot of little purrs when he’s being spoiled like the little prince he is
Everytime I go to feed my bunny she binkies and zooms all over the living room oinking. Then when I sit down her food bowl she zooms over and digs in, it's the sweetest thing ever. 🥰
I’ve had my rescue bunnies for over a year now and because they haven’t been treated very well it’s been difficult to say the least to handle them and show them that i won’t hurt them - but they r getting tamer. Im 14 and rlly appreciate the help ur providing so I can make sure my rabbits have the best life possible. The sound my bunnies usually make is the purring, grunting and thumping but we’re working on it ❤️😂
My bunny, Cooper, often makes a honking noise but only does it when he’s circling my feet! He was a class pet at the school I work for. I volunteered to take him home on the weekends & they ended up letting me keep him :) He now roams as much as he wants to instead of being left in a cage all day & is living his best life! Because of you, I have grown such a love for bunnies & I’ve learned so quickly on how they should be cared for so I want to say a big thank you for that!
@@elliott.724 as much as emotional support animals are great for the classroom, i'm glad theyre becoming rarer, unless its like a fish anyway. Animals like hamsters, rabbits, and guinea pigs should never really be in a classroom cage all week, especially since its usually a really small cage :( im so glad you took them though!
I am always so concerned about my bunbuns welfare . He seems happy all the time. He does thump when miffed. He runs around my feet and honks. It seems to be when he wants my attention. Although the vet said he may be angry with me, it doesn't seem that way. Thank you for posting this. And I really hope that I never hear my baby scream like that. That would traumatize me so badly to know he was that upset. I am devoted to him. He brings me so much happiness. I hope Lennon and you are doing well !
Mine is very vocal. She loves to interact. She also sings when she’s happy. It’s almost like a buzz sound. And she definitely makes a “Hummm” sound when she wants my attention. Bunnies are so precious and intelligent. ❤️
I had to put my 11 year old rabbit down this weekend, and it gives me a little solace to know that he was comfortable and content most of the time. I just hope he knew how much I loved him. 💖
My bunny thumps when I put him in his cage after he's done playing and he purrs when im petting him. His name is Pretzel Bun by the way and ive hade him for 5 years now. He's awesome.
Lady Cottontail purrs when I talk cute to her and pet her. I ask her who the pretty bunny is over and over again and she loves my voice. She hopped into our life on 09-07-22 which was our anniversary (gift), we waited 30 days for her family to notify SPCA, put up signs all around our neighborhood, asked Lost pets online and took her to our Vet to see if she was chipped and at the same time to get a check-up. We didn't know her gender at the time until the Vet visit for a check-up. So now she is officially "Lady Cottontail F." She learned her name "Cottontail" super quick so she went from Peter Cottontail to Lady Cottontail after the Vet visit. She hopped onto our property, skinny, I could feel her spine bone, her ear had mites and she was dirty. She's an albino young white rabbit and she is wonderful. We give her love, plenty of good food, salads and herbs, fresh apple sticks with leaves, lemon tree stem and leaves, Timothy hay, toys, and puzzles. I built her a Rolls Royce bed. It's a combo hay feeder and a large bed, big enough so she can stretch out. It's nice and she loves it. She has a separate litter box too. She is a free-roam bunny. The baby gate keeps her on the other side of the house during bedtime. She is healthy, clean, and pure white now. She circles me any chance she gets and entertains me with binky's. I don't know her history but she doesn't like to be picked up so I get down on the carpet to hold her as I pet her, she purrs in delight and falls to sleep. She is super intelligent, comes when I call her, has mastered her bunny treat puzzle, and makes us laugh on a daily basis. I fell in love with a bunny and I don't know how that happened LOL I took a crash course in all things bunny and I continue to learn more. I appreciate you sharing your knowledge with us/the world and this new daddy. Thank you Angel from The Bay Area, CA
I’ve had my bunnies for 4 years!!! And this year for the first time I heard them grunting whenever i picked them up and making such cute little purrs. But they also give a lot of sass and rebel against me 😭
My old rabbit I had until a year ago, oinked all the time. He would oink while eating, drinking, behind massaged. Leo was always a very happy little bun
when my rabbit drinks, he is soooo loud i'm not even kidding, you can hear it across the room😂 he makes little farting, slurping, and squeaky noises when he drinks i can't help but giggle when i hear it🥺💕
My bunnys hate to drink water, today was my first time in a real long time seeing my bunny drinking! Do u know what I can do to make my bunnys drink more water?
@@cupcakestormy171 do you give them a bottle or a bowl? Try the opposite just in case they don't like the one they have. my bunny drinks very little too though, and she's fine. She's always been like that and she's over 10 years old now. Sometimes I fill up a syringe of water after giving her twice daily medicine and that gets her a little bit more.
This video was very helpful, my bunny was clucking and oinking a lot and I thought she was sick with a respiratory illness, until this video… It helped clarify sooo much!
Lorelei, I have something great to tell you!!! 😭 I adopted a bunny from the shelter. The bunny was rescued by them from a hoarder's home and the bunny was heavily abused by the other rabbits in their home. After adoption, the bunny got bonded with the bunny I already had but it's absolutely terrified of humans. He would not let me walk past him, or ANYTHING. Well, he has started to let me pet his head! I seriously cried because I know he is so traumatized, but after a year and a half of having him he has finally decided that he can trust me a little. I know it's going to take so much longer for him to let me do more, but I'm letting him do it at his own pace. Thank you for all the videos. They have all helped me make him safe and closer to me. Please give a treat to Lennon for me. 🤗
Thank you for this video! My bunny has been oinking a lot lately and I was so worried that something might be wrong with him! I thought he was whining and was in pain but seems like he's just happy to be hiding under my bed 😂
You should find out in advance where your best local bunny doctor is, in case you suddenly need one in the future. It sounds like he won't need it for that particular behavior though, which is great!
Thanks for the fun informative video. Only have heard mine thump or purr. She doesn’t warn when she’s irritated and is going to nip. At least now it’s a soft nip most of the time. Who knew rabbits could have such a two fold personality!! Sweet with a big attitude.
When my bun Matilda gets super excited like running around a new fun space she thumps and honks, I worked out she wasn't scared or annoyed, just totally excited. She also grunts and growls when you are trying to stop her doing something naughty she knows she shouldn't be doing, like chewing that cable you forgot to tuck away...yes you naughty bunny! She also sneezed and farted at the same time once, that was pretty funny and cute, she looked so indignant about it.
When I heard my bunny snoring for the first time I thought that was something wrong with her breath, but this keep happening so I just let this go. Now I will pay more attention to hear her noises.🥰🥰🥰 Rosa’s most common sounds is snoring, purring and oinking 😍
Love you Lennon! I have two bunnies that I absolutely adore, and I love all of your advice and content. Thank you so much for everything you do for the bunny community!!
I love this video!! Rabbits have their own super cute personalities! Our Netherland Dwarf likes to grunt at us when she wants treats and always purrs when being petted! Our mini lop is quieter, but loves his food and definitely makes clucking noises when eating!
Miranda is my house bunny and I love her so much! She’s absolutely adorable! She’s a hybrid…mother was a lop ear and her father was a regular bunny so she has one ear that permanently sticks strait up and the other ear permanently flops down…way too cute!!!
My rabbit Toby, that I had for 12 years, would make this grunting sound, not quite the same as in this video and hop back and forth when I got home from work. I always thought it was because he was happy to see me/glad I was home. Occasionally, he would make a thumping sound.
Wow I had no idea they sneezed! That’s adorable ☺️ my bun loaf makes all the happy noises (the purring and gulping and he really enjoys his foods haha) I truly feel blessed to have him
Lol my rabbit oinks all the time ! Whenever he smells something to eat, when I get down to his level he usually expects good so he runs at me oinking 😂 he’s just the cutest ♥️
My 3 months old bunny was sick with fever this January but was recovering and got better but suddenly 2 weeks later, she suddenly got so lethargic and weak and screamed. She left this planet 10 minutes later.
Sadly our dwarf Hotot, Cadbury, passed away a month ago at the age of 15. The only sound he ever made was oinking whenever I entered his room. He'd oink and run in figure 8s around my feet. I had to be careful I didn't step on him. He was an absolute delight.
...Oinking is the most common. My rabbit adores her petting, especially if she can feel me breathing and be petted on her head. Sometimes she even lies down for hours like this. Definitely spoiled and very, very happy rabbit she is😂🥰
I was only told that teeth clacking was when bunnies were in pain so I was very worried when my girl did it while I was petting her (despite checking with the vet multiple time back then) but it's nice to hear that it can also be when they are enjoying something.
Oh my god I came in here thinking my rabbit had a partial nasal obstruction but turns out she was just oinking 🥺. I knew it had to not be an obstruction because she only made the noise when I held it cuddled her. Good to know that she just really loves me ❤
My bunnies are rescues and come with trauma, I also have two cats, so most of the sounds I hear are grunting and growling. Up next to that is purring though, so I think it balances out. (I promise they're really spoiled and treated well, they really are just grumpy at heart but I still love them)
Did you have any issues with integrating your the bunnies and cats together? Do you leave then alone? I want to get a bunny and a cat but don't want the cat to eat or hurt the bunny.
My bunny runs around the house, oinking when he wants attention. He will run around me in circles doing it too 😂 he is very vocal a lot of the time, he constantly wants cuddles and purrs all the time when he gets them, lol
Until I got to the end I only thought my rabbit made, grunting, oinking/honking and purring but then I realized she also clucks when shes eating her salads. 😂💚 I loved the video and thank you so much Lennon and Lorelei for it. Now I know what sounds to keep and ear out for.
"Snuggles" thumps to warn us there is danger like someone (a stranger) outside. He also makes a hum hum sound (sort if like a star wars light Saber) when he's really happy - he runs around in circles when he does it and comes up for attention. Sometimes he makes a breathing quite squeak squeak noise it's like he's sulking because he's upset he's going to have something done like his nails clipped (or carries on after something like that is done)
The snoring and the gulping noises crack me up. Im pretty sure mine sleep at night. Lots of activity in bunnyland by day. Liked the vid, thanks for sharing and caring...
Omg my 8 house buns do it all… honking, purring, and my piggy oinks ALOT!!! They are so ridiculously spoiled, and my older girl ms Evelyn rose aka queen of darkness, stomps at most everything lol talk to her at the wrong time, look at her at the wrong time, be in her presence at the wrong time 😅 it’s so funny and cute I just love her! They all just have their own personalities and sounds, it’s awesome!!!! Great video! 👏
2:17 My bunny used to sneeze like this at night sometimes over 1 hour continuously, I just took my bunny and cuddle for a min to make sure he/she's fine, I was never sure why it happened and wasn't able to get my bunny to a vet, but it eventually stopped sneezing like this
There was one sound missing from this list, that sadly I got to hear for a few days last week. A regular cooing sound similar to a pigeon , was made for a couple of days by our surviving Lop bunny as she was pining for her sister who died a few days previously . This went on for about 4 days, then the next day she seemed a bit lethargic but still ate and drank , but the next day…. She decided she didn’t want to wake up :( Yes, she died of a broken heart. The vet had checked her when her sister was going , but only 12 days separated their departure in the end (the first one did have some health issues sadly). So please rabbit lovers out there, watch out for the cooing sound of them crying and mourning their hutch mate.
The very first day I brought my little Aeron home he purred at me, I got scared that he was getting over stimulated or may have been scared but it was so relieving when I looked it up and found out he was just really happy lol. Edit: the most common sounds I hear from Aeron would have to be gulping and purring, I thoroughly enjoy hearing all his little sounds 🖤
❤ I named my bunnies Sansa and Arya. They’re both red but Arya has a black face so it seemed right. Little did I know how fitting it would be! Sansa is sweet and like to be pretty and Arya is a rascal who constantly remodels her living area by tearing down walls. She bit my dogs nose once too 😂
❤I love this video!!! My daughter’s bunny Mila aka “Wheels” due to the nature and speed of her binkies, makes quite a few of these adorable sounds. She’s definitely a ruler of her own kingdom here; did I mention BOSSY, Bouje, oh heck yeah!! And OMG 😮 with the grunting and her “dukes up” when she wants her morning health bars; yeah Nana DOES NOT get them out quick enough EVER !!! 😂
My bunny never liked to be held, and we accommodated her wishes...for the most part. Sometimes she was just so cute we had to give her a little scoop and cuddle (always close to the ground and never for long), and she'd let us know of her displeasure by hopping away and giving us a solid thump or two. My favorite sound she made was honking right at meal time, as soon as she saw her dish coming in she'd honk away. At night when she got her bedtime treat she'd hop circles around her treat-giver, and we had to keep count of how many circles she did so we wouldn't step forward too early and trip over her. Most nights she did 3 circles, I think her maximum was five. Actually I lied, my favorite sound was her hiccups after a big drink at her bunny bottle. We would hear her going and everyone would freeze as we waited for her to finish. "One...two..." HIC! And then we would flail. I miss her so much.
Thank you! Lately I’ve been using your channel as a major resource to everything bunny. your so helpful, and your the person who has inspired me to dedicate my days to convincing my parents to get a bunny . I hope they will let me, again thank you so much! 💗
So basically every noise she said is very rare mine makes on a daily basis 😂 we start the day with some hangry growls, move onto happy afternoon honks and oinks during playtime and then usually finish with a stupendous snoring session for the rest of the day 🤣
My bunny, clover, thumps and grunts at me when leave home to go school and every time I leave the house. But other wise he purrs when I get home and start to pet him
I've heard my rabbit sceaming just before his death. One of the most horrible experiences of my life. Even worst my rabbit died becouse of me. I will never forgive myself and I would never wish someone to go trough this.
my bunny screamed too but she was asleep. I immidiately went to her and fortunately she woke up after a few shakes. Turns out she had a really bad nightmare, but she's been with me for 10 years straight and my heart stopped beating first few times she didn't wake up. I can only imagine how traumatizing it is for you... I'm so sorry..
When my bunny runs to greet me, she makes a sound like a bee buzzing. Its like a humming/vibration. Its so cute and happy, her little way of saying hello❤
I don't have pet bunnies, but I get to observe wild bunnies and hear their sounds when lucky! The most common sound from cottontails I have heard is male honking during courtship.🐰
One of my bunnies screamed before he died, it was an accident that was caused by built up rage on my end… it is still HAUNTING to me. Easy to say that I don’t stomp on the floor to get his attention nor get blindingly angry.
I've heard most of them, but Yenny used to cluck anytime she ate pellets, and Luna likes to honk occasionally when being attended to or squeaks when my husband gives her cheek rubs.
Thank you thank you thank you for this!! My rabbit was oinking at me when I came down to see him this morning and I was honestly so worried because he’s never done that before. He was just really excited for pets and treats, and he was clearly not in distress so this video really helped!

She growls are there any videos you have that can help me?
thumps! he gets mad if he doesn’t get hay before 9am!
Poor baby!! I love his new name though he is lucky to have you!!!
The thumping was a warning sign because he felt threatened.

I lost my rabbit of almost 12 years when I was almost 15. It's hard, but know that time heals all wounds, and while you should definitely allow yourself to grieve, it's always best to remember the good times you had with your bunny, rather than the pain you felt when you lost it.
I lost my rabbit because he had brain bleeding and he was almost 4 years old.

Good luck!✊
My bun ALWAYS circles my feet and honks when I get out of bed in the morning 😍🥰
Husbun is now my new favorite word. 🥰
Mamas care about their babies❤❤
W dad❤
My rabbit just passed away 2 days ago, we had him for 7 years, sadly he passed away from an old age, I can't stop thinking of him and it make me feel sad that his friend was there to witness it, she keeps going by his cage everyday looking for him. I miss him. Your videos really do make me happy so I just wanna say keep up the great work, and thank you! ❤
I'm so sorry, it's so sad!
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Hugs & Blessings to You from another bunny Mom ❤️🩹☮️💖
Sorry to hear that but the age wasn't an issue, they live for at least 10 years if their health is good and some happen to live for 13 years. I would recommend you checking on your other bun, just in case the other one was actually sick. Stay strong
I'm very sorry. Sending a hug to you. 💖
My rabbit squeals happily when I get home with presents and vegetables for her. She gets very excited. I think she is a dog in a rabbit's body, she even plays with toys 🥰❤
There’s squeaking and then there’s screaming. I’m guessing squeaking.
After reading many comments, i think my rabbit was a fucking idiot 😂😂😂
My rabit is cheeky
I got my rabbit a squeaky toy a few weeks back and she loves it and every day I hear it squeak once or twice 😂🥰
I got scared too its 5am I haven't slept
Thank you! My bunny was snoring at night and I thought she was whining or crying I’m very relieved it just means shes having a good rest. Hopefully no respiratory issues though.
My little boy used to snore too....cutest sound in the world. :)
A bunny snoring is so cute.
The best are French bulldogs when they snore.
Snoring also is a sign that the rabbit is a little overweight , which is something this video missed. It's not life-threatening, it just means you may need to re-balance some of the foods she's given.
Is she ok?
He goes between bothering me during class and sleeping all day
The same thing happens to me too...my baby bun literally throws my phone away just to get my sole attention on him😂
Don't give up on the other two. Speak to them in baby tones (like with human babies) and they will slowly come around. The best day when they do 😍😍
My bunny grunts when I pick him up sometimes especially until I got the hang of it and was able to do so less awkwardly
My bunny had such an attitude before she sadly passed. She’d honk and grunt at us any time we had to clean her litter box and she loved to attack the vacuum cleaner. There were several times where she’s been somewhere she wasn’t supposed to be and got pissed when we told her to leave.
I used to have a rabbit like that too. Absolute sweetie, but MAN could she be grumpy - bunnies definitely have some personality to them!
♡x
Mine gruts and growls at me all the time bc she like under the kitchen table but we gotta eat too and sometimes she'll bite our feet
Who else's heart broke when they heard that rabbit scream? Poor bun!
My rabbit got hurt once and she screamed. It's an awful, very loud scream. Almost like a small child.

Birds are predators. They target mostly insects.
Our first family bunny was a rescue who honk/oinked around the clock. Followed by a friend added who purred. Both were very happy buns in their retirement/rescue life.
There's also #14; Hissing. Rabbits also hiss, when being scared or getting ready to fight! Depending on the Rabbit of it's mood or behavior. 🐇
Yes my bunny had an ectopic pregnancy and I wasn't even aware she was pregnant when I picked her up she started hissing. Then a few days later died. I still feel horrible

Man they’re just herbivorous cats
Typically in response to “no you are NOT supposed to be on the dining room table eating a bowl of fruit” or “will you stop eating the door frames”
Regards from Oz 🇦🇺
Yes, Australian magpies are pure nasty in swooping season 😬😱 I am glad your bun was able to scare the bird away!
❤😂
Our baby girl does not stomp, but she has mastered “pouting”😂
What is thrashing in a rabbit? Idk what that looks like and I need to know before I get my rabbit 🐇 somebody help me pls
Score 1 for Team Buns.
Rabbits gathered in an elevator: "Remember, no thumping."

@kawaiicinnamonroll ur bunny may be in GI stasis. I would get ur bun to the nearest rabbit vet before it’s too late.
@@Stargirlxxxxx28 is she better now?
@@llcdrdndgrbd yes thank you! :)
Im still not sure whta happened but the next day she was fine! She is good ty!
Omg my boy too. I am convinced he learned to use his grunt to get his way.
Oh, our boy do the same
This is amazing! I had no idea that there was so much meaning in what rabbits do! Thanks for this!

i rescued the sweetest bunny ever, she just recently started oinking after about a week in my care… she won’t let me touch her still but im so so happy she’s feeling more content and safe! i hope she’ll want to cuddle soon… i have so much love for her just waiting til she’s ready
I’ve actually heard a bunny snore when we went to the bird sanctuary before summer ended and that alone made me love them more it’s also really cute
The first time our bunny oinked, it shocked us. It's now one of our favorite noises 🥰
I'm so glad I found this video, because my Ruby has been Oinking at me and I didn't know what it meant, I was so scared I was hurting her so I stopped handling her! Off to snuggle my bun now!
Should get a boy to bond with her just so you can name him Max lol.

Vincent hates being brushed, so I get a lot of grunts and growls from him when I pull out the hairbuster 😪
Aside from that he makes a lot of little purrs when he’s being spoiled like the little prince he is

Wow the exact same thing happened to me! Hazel was a class bunny that we would take home on weekends but eventually we got to keep him!

I also think they are soooo intelligent and I get 💔when I hear ppl eating them.
I had to put my 11 year old rabbit down this weekend, and it gives me a little solace to know that he was comfortable and content most of the time. I just hope he knew how much I loved him. 💖

The sound of the poor bunny screaming was so sad and heartbreaking 😭💔 I hope I never hear that sound again 😭😭😭
It was so sweet hearing Lennon oinking!
I’ve had my bunnies for 4 years!!! And this year for the first time I heard them grunting whenever i picked them up and making such cute little purrs. But they also give a lot of sass and rebel against me 😭
I can't get over how cute they are.

Richard Watterson:”NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO………….”
Lorelei, I have something great to tell you!!! 😭
I adopted a bunny from the shelter.
Now I will pay more attention to hear her noises.🥰🥰🥰

I love this video!! Rabbits have their own super cute personalities! Our Netherland Dwarf likes to grunt at us when she wants treats and always purrs when being petted! Our mini lop is quieter, but loves his food and definitely makes clucking noises when eating!
My momma bunny also sneezes at the babies when she wants them to go back in the nest box... and they all dive in too! 🥰✌️🐇
Rabbits make more diverse sounds than I know. It was an amazing and informative video. I'm enjoying your wonderful videos about rabbits. Thank you.

My 3 months old bunny was sick with fever this January but was recovering and got better but suddenly 2 weeks later, she suddenly got so lethargic and weak and screamed. She left this planet 10 minutes later.
My little bun always oinks when eating fresh hay. It's adorable! He also gulps his water down and I'm glad to know it's nothing bad lol
My literal favorite thing is when my buns gulp water, they are the best!!!
Lennons oinking sound is so ADORABLE!!!!!! It just made my day! 🥰🐰🌈
My bunny runs around the house, oinking when he wants attention. He will run around me in circles doing it too 😂 he is very vocal a lot of the time, he constantly wants cuddles and purrs all the time when he gets them, lol

14. Bunny farts (kinda' like air being let out of a balloon). A sign you're giving your bun too many sugary treats, legumes, or grain.

The hangry grunting bunny made my heart melt 😩❤️
"Snuggles" thumps to warn us there is danger like someone (a stranger) outside. He also makes a hum hum sound (sort if like a star wars light Saber) when he's really happy - he runs around in circles when he does it and comes up for attention. Sometimes he makes a breathing quite squeak squeak noise it's like he's sulking because he's upset he's going to have something done like his nails clipped (or carries on after something like that is done)
The hum hum sound is basically the oinking sound. My bun does it when she's excited too and she starts running loops as well
The snoring and the gulping noises crack me up. Im pretty sure mine sleep at night. Lots of activity in bunnyland by day. Liked the vid, thanks for sharing and caring...
Omg my 8 house buns do it all… honking, purring, and my piggy oinks ALOT!!! 2:17 My bunny used to sneeze like this at night sometimes over 1 hour continuously, I just took my bunny and cuddle for a min to make sure he/she's fine, I was never sure why it happened and wasn't able to get my bunny to a vet, but it eventually stopped sneezing like this
Maybe was cold?
Sounds like Bunz was training you to get cuddles at night.
She decided she didn’t want to wake up :(
Yes, she died of a broken heart. The vet had checked her when her sister was going , but only 12 days separated their departure in the end (the first one did have some health issues sadly). So please rabbit lovers out there, watch out for the cooing sound of them crying and mourning their hutch mate.
Watching this with my 2 buns, it’s so fascinating watching their reaction to each sound
My rabbit has only snored once, while sprawled out, and it had me immediately googling the sound to make sure she was alright. XD

What humans hear: *EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE* T_T
What bunnies hear: JOJO, this is my the last of my hamon! TAKE IT!!!
"One...two..."
HIC!
And then we would flail. I miss her so much.
My rabbit growls and lunges at me when I try to pick up or arrange his towels 😭🤣🤣
Same lol
Our rabbit growls and lunges when I walk by her and don't give her a pet. Often after lunging she will start licking my ankle. Has never bitten.
Omg so sorry
So sorry, what happened?
my bunny screamed too but she was asleep.
When my bunny's enjoying a massage, she grinds her teeth really lightly.
My buns, Rocky, oinks as he mounts his stuffed bunny friend!
Thank you thank you thank you for this!! My rabbit was oinking at me when I came down to see him this morning and I was honestly so worried because he’s never done that before. He was just really excited for pets and treats, and he was clearly not in distress so this video really helped!
