@@AllfatherBlack Being able to speak up is one thing. Being able to make a difference is another. Most auteur directors like Kojima are resentful of dissenting opinions. Kojima actually knows when to accept criticism and reevaluate his ideas. Yes, any decent person would have said something. But a more prima donna director would have insisted on keeping it.
Iirc, Kojima wanted MGS4 to end with Snake and Otacon turning themselves into the U.N. It would've ended with Snake and Otacon being executed for their acts of terrorism. Kojima's team supposedly threatened to walk out if he went through with that ending.

One of the early bosses makes a crude joke about Leo flying around with his girlfriend, then the next shot shows his Frame and he's just laughing while his cockpit is pointed upwards. It's... not subtle.
I will never forget running around naked as Raiden. My friends and I laughed so damn hard, that whole game was a trip. Those were the days.

Aside from the odd video like this, and blatant ads, all they do is just pay someone to translate old Nintendo magazines. Hardly what I'd call "journalism". 90% of the crap they churn out is stale "trivia" about Nintendo.

Playing an MMO at an arcade is crazy, $1/3min or $20/hr to stand around and play a game that's about $15/mo to play at home is wild. Plus MMOs are time sinks, 3 minutes would barely be enough time to check the quest log. Easy to see why this didn't pan out.
Plus back then the internet was pretty bad so my time it connected there goes your three minutes.
Happy to see DYKG is still going strong all these years later. Them and dorkly are some of the last relics left from the 2010’s TH-cam boom. Makes me super nostalgic cuz back

Records online imply that both titans and mind over mutant sold over 1 million and a half each, which was more than enough since these games were made on the cheap going by radical's cheap, quick and high quality way of production

A developer from radical commented on Matt Mcmuscles video confirming the success of the titans series is what got Crash landed and CTR 2010 greenlit.
TH-camrs love spreading misinformation about Crash series.
However a Corporate restructuring and The dissolution of Sierra Entertainment, Along with the senior creative manager of Radical leaving Radical and Taking High Impact Games off the spin off stopped Crash Landed and CTR 2010 Dead.

Heck, even in this video when they say Titans “got lower review scores”, that’s only from the fans… which are incredibly unreliable and biased. You can see that it did better in the eyes of the critics - though it’s so marginal you may as well say it was the same.
Also, other misinformation… the actual next console Crash game after Twinsanity was Tag Team Racing, NOT Titans.

consoles have never had such a jump in power since the ps2
This is subjective. Some may say the original NES is the greatest ever since it practically saved and rebooted the American market after Atari almost ruined it forever. PS2 definitely sold a LOT and had the extra features in the DVD/CD player. Others may say that the Nintendo switch is the greatest game console of all time as it has almost rivalled the PS2 in sales in a shorter timeframe and plays many generations of games.
Me, I liked the Amiga computer and the Neo Geo.

Getting anything done in FFXI took multiple hours back in the day. There is basically nothing productive you could get done in a few minutes other than buy/sell things on the auction house. So I can’t imagine how this was supposed to work if they wanted it to be playable from arcades.
