This is an Unboxing and Assembly of the Flagship Table Saw Sled part 1 Main Sled.
Part 2 will cover the Attachments.
FLAGSHIP CROSSCUT SLED Does it all! It cuts miters, bevels, compound angles, Dadoes, Rabbets, Picture Frames and More! Features both bottom and back fence- removable zero clearance inserts! Plus it works for both left & right tilting saws with no modifications!
(these make it quicker and easier to lay out holes, but they are definitely not needed. It will help guarantee accuracy if you are concerned) note: Templates are NOT sold separately, they are only sold with plans)
We decided to design a new sled that would function just as well as the old one but would also be HALF THE WEIGHT!
We liked that we could switch between thin kerf and dado blades without having to build a whole new sled, but rather than having to remove and replace the zero clearance insert every time we change blades, we designed it to move them to accommodate the blade thickness.
We also thought about the different sleds we use and incorporated some of those uses into this sled. So, instead of having a large and cumbersome sled just for making picture frames, this sled has an attachment to make picture frames perfectly. And, instead of a separate sled for cutting accurate angles we have incorporated an attachment that will do the same thing.
The movable zero clearance inserts can also be moved to allow the blade to be tilted to cut bevels. And, it accommodates both left and right tilting saws.

I used the 5 cut method in this video
• 39 - Extreme Crosscut ...
Here is William Ng's video of the 5-cut method. He invented it.
• 5 Cuts to a "Perfect" ...
Love how you stamped all the part names on the parts.
Thank you!
I have one of these! I assembled of course. Doing it today. “Everything that affects accuracy we have done for you” was music to my ears.
I wished my small contractor table saw was big enough for this awesome sled!
Well manufactured, and an awesome prduct for sure!
I have a Bosch contractor saw mounted inside a 4×8 worktable. There are no issues using James's sled for my set up.
I have a dewalt contractor , and is very easy to customize!
Thanks for putting this together. Can't wait for the second video to complete my sled!
Im so glad you made this video, I'll definitely refer back to it when I assemble mine. Thank you
Awesome!
It really shows how much time and effort you put into the plans and assembling the product! It's all the little details that really matter, labeling each individual part, highlighting them different colors in the instructions.
Glad to see these are shipping again! I'm anxiously awaiting for mine to arrive!!
Mine was delivered today!! This weekend I will assemble. Very well packed. The exterior of the box looked rough, the contents were is perfect shape!
Awesome!
Great to see a big shipment ready to go out. Hope one of those was my order.
Can’t wait. 😊!!
Another great video! Thanks
Thank you!
Received my table saw sled kit and half the fun was the assembly. I watched the video and followed along. Took me a bit longer (over a period of two days) than it took James - but I wanted to make sure I was doing it correctly - glued parts are hard to correct. Slides nice on my smaller Craftsman table saw. I need to figure out how to attach the ruler tape measure since I did not see instructions on that. Beautiful design and I think it will do everything I had in mind for a table saw sled to do. The assembly video has usage ideas at the end.
I’m trying to edit the second part of the assembly video this weekend. And it’ll show the measuring tape install.
Thank you!!
How in the hell did you get so damn smart? It seems your woodworking skills are endless and incredible. Super impressed, super inspiring and super interesting ❤
You are far too kind. Thank you.
Thank you James. This was very helpful! Looking forward to Part 2.
Looks like a good kit.
Wow. Stamping the parts is top notch.
Mine should arrive today! Thanks much for this help.
Had I known you were selling these perfect sleds for only $299 I would not have spent 3 days making one. :)
I can afford the three days easier than the $300. Of course, mine will have flaws. 😄
You saved some money and gained experience.
I was just watching your video on your table
Awesome!
Video convinced me…and promotion ….ordered!
Добрый день! Классная каретка 👍
Very nice. Congratulations, you have placed yourself above the competition. I don't know of anyone else who has offered more than just plans, but then you always did do it a little differently than them!
James you did an excellent job with the table saw sled. I like the way you put it together. Australia.
Very well done!
Got mine in this week and will be putting it together soon.
What an amazing sled!
Thanks buddy!!❤
Mr King Awesome great teacher etc Exelent Craftsmenship ❤
Guess I have to cut my credit card in tiny "shim coins" as we (NOK) got rid of them yrs ago ... in fact, to purchase a packet of chewing gum or some rubbers in any store we use a CC or mob 99% of the times ... hahah.
1. Love James passion and skill. This is the channel i am constantly turning to for plans/jigs/tips etc
2. Thought the $100 would have been better given to the first customers who took a punt on buying this sled
3. This video and plans should have been produced prior to the first sleds being shipped. Admittedly I did struggle in putting it together and have not finished it even though i've had the sled for a few months now (also coupled with injury that prevented me doing anything in the shop for a couple of months)
4. Could I please get a set of the set-up plans you show in this video
5. When is Part 2 coming out?
Despite a couple of criticisms above, keep up the great work. You really are "the guru of woodworking" in my eyes
Hi Adrian, thank you.
We did actually have a few build videos up. But not by us. I think that led to a lot of confusion and people asking us to make an opening & assembly video.
Part 2 is filmed, and will be published this week.
I’ll email you a link right now to get a set of plans.
Thank you!
James
I received mine.very nice sled.
You answered my question on the mitre bar installation I had on your other video. Tay tools! Thanks for this video James! You and your family do great work!
Thank you!
Hello sir what’s the price for this table saw jig? Thank you very much for your great work
@@pedrodheming2044
Hi. Right now it’s on sale for $299. Regularly it’s $399.
hello James & it's is Randy and i like yours video is cool & Thanks James & Friends Randy
OK I just ordered anyway while waiting for my other questions I posted. However, I checked your site and see you sell a stop block separately. Does the sled come with the stop block? I would expect it to since I saw it in the videos and all sleds usually have a stop block.
It does! 😊
Will your table saw sled fit a Ryobi table saw?
Is anything further required to align to the blade?
I was just wondering will this sled work on any table saw
I have a DeWALT table saw
Yes it will.
How about the Dewalt 7485
@@valbrideau311, yes. It will fit your DeWalt too.
Thanks!
So this will work on any table saw? Including contractor or job site saws? And do the mitre and picture frame parts come with it?
Hi, it sure will any table saw with two miter slots. Even jobsite, or contractor saws.
And yes, both the miter function and the picture frame jig come with it.
$100 off? I ordered too soon. I kept thinking that while the Molasses Creek video was helpful, why isn’t James putting out his own video instead of farming it out to others? Good timing for me though, I'm at the point where I'm about to 5 cut my fence dial in. I'll be waiting for part 2 before I go beyond that. 👏
I just looked up your order. You got the $299 price instead of the $399, so you’re good. 👍🏻
I’ll get part 2 out in about 2-3,days. I’m starting the filming today.
Thanks!
Oh! I didn't realize that. I was thinking you were selling yourself short for $200! 🤣
James, where do you source the wax paper you use for glueing? I haven't been able to find it.
Probably parchment paper precut for baking sheets. Amazon
Wish you could make one for the portable Bosch table saw
I'm using a Bosch contractor saw mounted in a 4×8 work table. James's sled works great.
Bought one about 2 weeks ago. Usual for me that I missed the $100 off sale.
Should we be expecting the second video soon? :D
Agree,...maybe Jim could provide an estimate of when the next assembly video is expected? Great Job on first! Thanks!
I know the site says allow up to 8 weeks for sales orders. However, I also know you received tons of orders previously and there were of course many folks asking where their's was. Growing pains when running a biz like yours. I am just wondering when we could expect to receive.
Do you sell these for smaller table saws?
are these table saw specific to a specific saw or are they universal?
They will fit on any table saw. And if you ever change table saws in the future, this jig is easy to swap over and be fitted to the new one!
is it for only one style saw or is unitfit
It will fit any table saw with 2 miter slots
Can you tell me please the dimensions of the sled, length and width? Thanks
I'm not being a troll, but it's BUY this shed. Do you have a metric scale version?
Can you use it on dewalt saw
Yes! As long as you have 2 miter slots.
James, I have forgotten if you were going to send out an email when you shipped? Thank you
Yes!
And if you send your order number, I can give you an exact date.
I wish I could buy a tablesaw over here that allows dado stacks. 😡
Missed ya. Where have you been?!
Hi! Mostly building orders.
Fyi: you misspelled 'buy this fence'
you forgot the links to the 5 cut method...
Oh no! Thanks. I’ll get it added. Here a link. Starts at round the 19min 32 sec mark

If I order today, what timeframe am I looking at to receive the package?
Hi,
Right now it’s 6-8 weeks. It could end up quicker, but I can’t guarantee it. Sorry it’s so slow. As soon as we put it on sale for $100 off ($299 vs $399), the sales took off. The sale does end in a couple days, and ordering will slow way down, but unfortunately that wouldn’t help right now.
Thank you,
Thanks. Will be worth the wait
I am pretty sure I saw my box in that pile in the beginning of this video. $100.00 would have been worth waiting for in these devastating Bidenomics. Hopefully I'll see mine next week. Be blessed today and always
I ordered one of these “Flagship” sleds a month ago and still have not received it! I have messaged & emailed multiple times and received NO RESPONSE! I believed that this was a reputable firm/family but not so much anymore. There may be an explanation, but their customer service is non-existent. Product looked like a winner, but apparently it’s more vaporware.
Hey, I’ve emailed you back every time you’ve emailed me.
You ordered 4 weeks ago. And the website says how long it takes. Why don’t you send me a message on Facebook and I’ll give you my phone number, since you aren’t getting my emails. I’m also going to look to see if you left a number on your order, if so, I’ll call you.
Or better yet, send me an email with your phone number.
And in the meantime, check your spam or junk email folder
I just found your phone number at area code 317, and left you a voice mail. The last email you sent me was on March 14th at 9:46 pm, and I emailed you back at exactly 11:24 pm the same day. I’ve got the emails with the header data that I’m happy to show you.
I’d say that waiting an hour and 38 minutes for a return email that came in around 10pm is pretty good customer service.
I’ll keep trying to call you.
Great design!
Thank you!
Is this guy for real? Not good at assembly and explaining.
I have tried to contact you several times. I sent emails and tried your contact form on your website but your capacha is having some issues and won’t send my message. I’m trying buy plans for a shed but no m looking for a 12x16 shed with a single pitch roof. So I’m trying to ask if you can adjust the plans for that
