Just out of curiosity, why not provide threaded inserts into the frame jig for the ruler so that it can be inserted and removed without stripping out the plywood?
The plywood is 3/8” thick. There is no threaded insert that short. And in reality, it would actually have to be even shorter. That was my first thought too, until we discovered we couldn’t find them.
