for those who are used to measure with grams and kilograms. I've used this for 1 pizza 125 gram cauliflower 100 gram of mozzarella 2 eggs Some oregano Preheat the oven on 225 Celsius (= 440 F) and then for 20 minutes.
I used the same as the recipe in this video and mine took 20mins plus another 20mins. So total I have to cook for about 40mins at 230 degree Celsius and lowered the temperature to 200 degree Celsius for the other half of 20mins. The crust took longer time because the recipe doesn't require the cauliflower to be drained so it's soggy. It is very time consuming and I have to adjust my own timing. That's why I don't like to follow videos. 🙄
This pizza just blows my mind!! I am eating it right now. So easy and one of the best pizzas ever. I didn’t put extra cheese on top, really not necessary. I used extra ripened Gouda cheese instead of mozzerella. And I put zuchini, union and bell pepper on top. Really OUTSTANDING. Thanks a lot dr. Berg!
@@Drberg That was FUN to watch!!!!!! Especially watching you cut the paper round knowing u just flip it n draw around it, I thought , ah bless him! :-) A SERIOUS GAME CHANGER I HOPE FOR MANY. Greeting *chef de jour* Berg From Europe *with gratitude for ALL you do* !
As an Italian who’s gone keto now for 2 months - you can imagine my withdrawal symptoms for pizza! They really are the best out here. This looks amazing though and very tasty! I shall try this on Sunday. Thank you Dr. Berg! Now to figure out how to make keto pasta. Zucchini pasta doesn’t cut it for me 😩
This video is from 9 yrs ago! Dr. Berg, thank you for dedicating your life to educating the public about health! You have improved so many people's lives❣️
Try using grated hard parmesan or hard Asiago cheese for the crust instead of using shredded mozzarella. It makes a firmer crust. Also one egg is better than two so it’s less eggy. And thirdly after you grate the cauliflower put the grated cauliflower in a skillet on low to medium heat. You’ll see steam coming out which is the water coming out of the cauliflower. Once the steam stops the water has evaporated. Don’t cook the cauliflower until it’s brown just until the steam stops. That helps make a firmer crust as well. And lastly just use a large round pizza pan and you don’t have to measure your parchment paper to fit. Just put a square piece of parchment paper on the large round pizza pan. Everything else just do as this recipe does as far as precooking the crust and get it golden brown.
Just want to add to this and say for the sauce, a 8 oz can of tomato paste per one pizza is also great to reduce soggy crust. Just scoop into a bowl, mix some basil, oregano, and any other pizza seasoning you like into it before spreading it on the pizza. It tastes amazing, and you don't deal with a super soggy crust or toppings!
@@claireebedard1153 That is a great suggestion. I don’t know why I didn’t think of that as I use tomato paste a lot in recipes. It’s super high in potassium. I buy the no salt added version but other people don’t have to. I know Hunt’s makes a tomato paste with Italian herbs and seasonings in it but it’s too much sodium for me so I never tried it. Probably better to buy no salt added and add seasonings your way because the hard cheese has enough sodium. Then if black olives are added or other toppings with sodium you have enough. Thank you for your idea and I’m definitely going to try the tomato paste for a less soggy crust.
@@carlalattanzi6873 yeah! I have to make everything from scratch because my husband has a garlic allergy. You learn and remember fun tricks like this avoiding allergies haha!
@@dogtail1011 And I just checked online and yes the Hunt’s tomato paste says with basil, garlic and oregano on the front. I didn’t know garlic was in it. I remembered seeing basil and oregano on the label. Walmart SuperCenter is where I saw that seasoned tomato paste. I could not find no salt added tomato paste in Walmart. I found it at a WinCo grocery store. I didn’t check Albertsons. If I was still back east I assume Publix would carry it. But if sodium isn’t an issue for you and your husband you can just get the regular tomato paste unseasoned.

Why are we here? Why are you here? If you followed Dr. Berg you would know that this recipe was designed for people who are trying to lose weight are easy healthier.
This was delicious, and with enough left over for tomorrow's dinner. To give the crust more flavor, I crushed 3 cloves of garlic, and added a teaspoon of Italian seasoning before mixing it up. As for the parchment paper, tear off a section and lay it over the pan with the curled side down, add the crust mixture, spread it thin as you suggest, and then trim the excess to the outside edge of the pan. Works great!
@@chitowngirl11 I used the largest grating feature on my box grater. I dont grate the stems, but leave them for other dishes. Also I pick out the larger chunks that inadvertently break off. They don't press as well as the smaller gratings. Happy eating.
>>>Dr Berg>>>turn the pie pan over onto the parchment paper and take a marker and draw around the pan. Then cut it out inside of the marking. Being single forever helps one to be resourceful lol Your videos are changing my health, and I believe saving my life. Blessings to you and yours.
Just made this and WOW! Love it! Also, a great pizza sauce is cheap and easy. 1 small can tomato paste 1 can crushed, diced or tomato sauce, whatever ya got 2-3 cloves of garlic 1 Tbsp dried oregano 1 tsp onion powder 1 tsp dried basil 1 Tbsp paprika 1 tsp cayenne pepper, if you like it a bit more tangy 1 tsp salt Mix everything and you are good. Zero added sugar/sweetener, and costs like 2 bucks, but most importantly, it tastes awesome! Thanks so much for this detailed explanation. I followed your advice from your 2nd pizza recipe video and baked on a pre-heated pizza stone, again - sooo awesome! Thanks, this just saved my keto diet. :-)
I made this several times. It tastes great. One tip is, after you spread the mix and flatten it like dough, dab it a lot with paper towels to soak up excess water. The crust comes out fantastic that way.
@CoachSteve4u thanks for the tip I’ll be trying that next time. And also when I flip it and cook a few more min b4 adding my toppings (I’ll dry up again)👍🏻
CoachSteve4u I just saw the video for Healthy Pizza. The video was cut off right where he put it in the oven to bake after all the topping were put on. How long do you bake it and was the temperature still 450?
Love this recipe! I added some seasonings to the crust: onion powder, garlic powder, and Italian seasonings. I made this crust also for a tuna melt and put cheese on top- that was excellent too!
Ok I just made it tonight. It was good but I will definitely try it with seasoning the cauliflower if I make it again. It came out good, its just that sometimes cauliflower tastes “fishy” to me when it cooked certain ways. And boy is that ALOT of cheese. I also had slices of onion which I love.
I just made this last night. I just steamed the grated cauliflower first, and squeezed out all of the water to master a dryer crust . I used 1 cup of grated Parmesan instead of 2 cups of mozzarella, because it tends to get harder and crispier than the mozzerella cheese. It turned out perfect and was a yummy pizza 😋💕😋 Eating without the guilt is like heaven ❤️
Aye, I think I’ve mucked up , tried to squeeze out water but after I added the egg. Also 350 is gas mark 4 but I should have done gas mark 5 as he’s probably using a fan assisted oven. I’ve got a gas oven. So live and learn... my home made sauce is banging delicious though.
Beenish Mashhadi I used organic tomatoes, ( about 6 chopped up ) add balsamic vinegar ( down to personal taste, I use probably 3 tablespoons) 4/6 cloves of garlic, 1/4 onion, and lastly any herbs ( basil, thyme, oregano) reducing this to half slowly or thickness you want and blend until smooth. Can do same with tinned tomatoes, passata or fresh. Key is to reduce it
Made this. I had to alter the recipe, though. It was limp and oily .. so, I started with 2 cups roasted, seasoned cauliflower rice( no salt), 1 cup parmesan, 1 egg. I followed the same baking instructions. I topped mine with roasted broccoli, brussel sprouts, then red onion, fresh mozzarella, kale, more parmesan. I baked it the same as you. It is incredible!! Almost entirely made of super foods! Thank you for the inspiration!
Fold the parchment paper in half. And then in half again, hold the open edge up to the edge of the Pan with the point in the middle and just cut a curve across the outside of the paper. This makes a perfect circle.
Dr Berg, I tried this recipe and it is so delicious! I no longer eat bread and make my own pizzas from this recipe. No more bloating, burping and better night sleep. I also use this base and cut it into quarters and have scrambled eggs on it instead of bread. Thank you 🙏
Lol that's keto for you - Imagine being the kids of Dr Berg, might have a cruciferous vegetable, a slice of butter/cheese and some sardines for dinner :)
I wish I'd have read your comment before I made this pizza! The way Dr Berg makes it the crust is too eggy for me, reminds me of an omelet. I was just pondering trying to make it with a more pizza crust like.
Cut the parchment paper to the perfect size by first laying the paper flat on the counter, put the pan on top and trace around the pan with a pencil. Use scissors to cut inside the line you’ve drawn.
4:46 fold the parchment paper in half then fold it again so that you get a quarter now fold the quarter 2 more times, hold the center where all folding lines intersect in the middle of your dish and cut the other side to the radius of the dish, once you unfold it it will make a perfect circle for that dish
This was 9yrs ago... and im only just seeing it for the first time 😳 im so gonna be making this! Thank u Dr Berg! U are truly awesome 👌🏼 I absolutely love u and the work u do... u have really helped me a lot with your very informative videos .
I'm surprised he is advocating cheese, even though it's organic, it's not raw and many Functional/Integrative Dr's are saying we can't digest cows milk of any kind. I know it wouldn't be a pizza most are used to, but just add lots of veggies. Cheese is also addictive.
@@olgawahl4389 I hate to even admit this, but I’m even addicted to dairy. Same with sugar and any kind of sweets. I even overate fruit, which caused my triglycerides to shoot up to 600. I also have trouble using heavy cream in moderation. I heard the Keto folks online, saying they used heavy cream in their coffee, I had never used heavy cream. But, what do you know, I started over using that too, in my coffee, in my scrambled eggs and whatever else, I told myself, I needed to add heavy cream to. Guess what my weight loss stops when I use too much heavy cream. So I have learned that I can eliminate sugar, but then my addictive brain starts looking for an instant replacement, which usually turns out to be, not any better than the food I eliminated. It’s so hard, but I just keep eliminating foods and substances, that I know are harmful to my body and my mind, hoping that my brain will catch up and stop expecting an instant gratification replacement food. Good luck to you and everybody that’s on this journey.
Im going to make this too. And thanks for the suggestion of placements. I also gain weight with dairy & it makes my cholesterol go thru the roof. We will see!
My crust is taking longer to brown.😩 at 1st Dr. Berg said heat crust @150, then later he said 450(duh) my oven only goes down to 170. So I'm going to be over cooking it will be a brick!
Put the pizza dish upside down on the parchment, then use a pencil to score round it and then cut it to place in the pizza dish. That's how we were taught at boarding school, but that was nearly 50 years ago lol. Enjoyed this:)
@@tiar476 You were lucky. It was 50 years ago when I was in boarding school and we weren't allowed near the kitchen. All done for us, and left us gastronomically ignorant.

I made this tonight. Omg this is an incredible crust. Spot on perfect. The taste is awesome and the crust does firm up. So simple. Cauliflower does make a mess grating it but so worth it. I never imagined this pizza would turn out like this. A Keto pizza that satisfies me 110%. Home run
Oh My Goodness, Dr. Berg! I'm a bachelor, having lost my wife a few years ago. I have been in a rut of meals since, but at home I am 100% organic. This pizza is amazing!!! Kool Kitties, I hear you. For my own personal mental health / transition from her death, and choose to not dwell on what cannot be reversed. Thank You Sincerely. (-:
The ‘trick’ for cutting round parchment is to fold it at least into quarters then use the pan edge as an arc guide. You have less cutting & after unfolding you have a circle.
@@Drberg I cut myself a Cardboard template, lay it on the paper and trace it, then just cut to the line and it fits perfect. Sometimes I pre-cut a few at the time.
I made this pizza when I first started Keto and was amazed how great it tasted! I hate cauliflower and was very nervous about the taste. FYI, I lost 31 pounds in 6 weeks on Keto! Thanks Dr. Berg
I just made it and the crust came out perfectly however the video cuts off before he tells you how long to let it cook the second time around. After you loaded it up with all the Sauce and veggies etc., how long do you cook it until it’s completed?
Monte Whitefield..31 pounds in 6 weeks is AWESOME..care to add some of your tips ?? Start a side conversation !! Did you also do IF while going Keto ??
Hey, I confused on the Keto diet. Internet has so many programs that I am confused. Which Site you would recommend for Keto Diet specially for fatty liver
I made a cauliflower crust pizza this past weekend and it was amazing! It was filling but unlike grain pizza, I was not sluggish or bloated after eating it.
Dr. Eric Berg🥗Great recipe BUT I’m shocked you’re ok with so much cheese? Isn’t too much cheese BAD for us? Doesn’t it make us fat & turn to glue & makes us susceptible to colds?
Yes. I, too, was thinking, "Doesn't cheese equal mucus?" I'm going to make it without cheese, but top it with sliced raw veggies and sea salt with iodine. The crust looks like it would be good for sandwiches and dipping. Thank you.
Cut the parchment like the snowflakes we used to make in school. Fold the parchment in half, and then half again (to get quarters). The centre of the paper will now be one of the corners. Lay that corner in the middle of the pan and mark the radius of the pan with a pencil. Now you only need to cut a quarter circle instead of cutting all of the edges separately.
Yeah. And I used school, too. Lol. Lay the paper down, turn the pan upside down, score it or mark it "like in school art classes". Not hard. In your example I would go low tech and just crease the wedge using the pan's perimeter and use the crease as my cutting line. Lol so many options, Dr Berg! 😉 ps. FINALLY something WE can teach HIM hahahhahaa
If you make this alot, use cardboard and make a stencil or circle template then just use an exacto knife to cut thru many layer of parchment paper. Store it for future use. Love the recipe. How long did he cook it in the oven and what temp? I missed that.
@chas766 Dr Berg stated on 450 degrees for 15 min before adding toppings. I always rotate mine to evenly bake and I flipped mine over for another 3 min before adding toppings. And cooked another 5-10 min with topping. GOOD LUCK ITS AWESOME 😎
One tip, as someone that loves to make homemade pizza, is to put the flat items (eg. pepperoni) on first, and the wetter items (veggies) on last. And the super thin items (basil) either on the bottom or somewhere in between, as they dry out and burn easily if directly exposed to the hot dry air in an oven. You get a less soggy pizza with no burnt pepperoni. (unless you like it that way) I can't wait to try making cauliflower crust. I had no idea it was that easy. As a person who's getting older and is overweight, I am trying to apply healthier eating choices in my diet, and a lot of Dr Berg's videos confirm things I've always suspected---eg. pasta isn't great for you, and eggs are healthy. Just going by how I feel when I eat these items.
pasta is good but not every day and every week... a little serving once or twice a months ... you know when you feel like it. Another thing i've learn is... only eat when you're really... i mean really hungry... I'm half carnivore, went straight for it but liver and stomach didn't enjoyed it after 3 months.. so i got back on eating some veggies and pasta.. not like I use too, meat is first, eggs, dairies, than pasta and veggies are added to my meal. I eat 1 or 2 meals a day, that's it... my body got use to it. Don't forget to drink at least 8 oz a day of water.
@@newdimension4731 thank you for that. I wondered about a carnivore diet because doctor Ken Berry swears by it because he’s carnivore and his wife I believe is keto-vore. I love eggs and bread and butter but can’t eat gluten as I have leaky gut, but I’m hungry ALL the time, even after I just ate. My biggest thing is I don’t drink enough water, cause It’s boring so I’ll make some tea but not sure if that replaces water or not, I drink decaf. Thanks again, have a blessed day 😊
For the “hardest part” cutting your parchment paper. Just lay the tin on top of the parchment paper, get a pencil and draw around it to make an outline and cut it according to that. Save it and you’ve got a stencil to use each time. 😃 Looks delicious though. Thank you Dr Berg. I’m going to try it. 👍🏼
Jacob I created a keto pizza that legitmentlly tastes like a restaurant style pizza. Check it out! Its a couple videos down on my channel. It’s got more fat and less veggies than Dr. bergs but as long as you’re careful, it’s in my opinion the best I’ve tasted so far!
Thank you! The pizza tastes great even in rectangular forms! Few notes: I had to bake the crust for 25 min at 450F (instead of 15 min) and then 7 min extre for the toppings (cheese, salami and pre-cooked bacon).
Try adding 1/3 cup of Bragg Nutritional Yeast Seasoning when mixing the dry ingredients. Adding Bragg's to the recipe will give your Pizza a tremendous B-complex boost, and it tastes delicious! I buy mine by the case on Amazon. ^^
I made a cauliflower pizza a few weeks ago and it was absolutely delicious!! Even my daughters loved it!! I put all veggies and artichoke hearts on my topping.

Hello Doctor. I am 68 and a "Newbee" to Keto having just start on 7/26. I love it even though I was for many years a bread and pasta junkie. I've found so many great recipes on TH-cam and your pizza is one of them for sure! I made it exactly per your instructions and it was delicious! You are correct, there is no need to cook and or drain the cauliflower first. The pie was quite large and I enjoyed and was full after only 2 slices (I cut it into 6). I've gotten a lot of good advice from you on how to proceed with getting healthy and losing weight. In 14 days I have lost 11.4 pounds and 2 inches off my waist. I do intermittent fasting too...11 a.m - 5 p.m., am rarely hungry or feel deprived. Also, my sleep has improved as well as my energy. Thank you, thank you!
Oh my goodness! My husband has never reacted so positive to a low carb dinner as he did tonight! The entire family loves it! Thank you Dr. Berg for this recipe.
Did not have a round pan so used a cookie sheet with parchment and still turned out great. I DID flip it over and cook another 3 min before adding all my toppings. Other than it not being crunchy enough for me ITS AWESOME!!! And pizza is the main thing I miss Living the Keto Life. Thanks Dr Berg 🙏👍🏻

Dr. Berg, you're Godsend. Pizza is my favorite. I used to cook it all the time.. I have been miserable not being able to eat it. But now that you showed us the crust recipe, it's on. It is so freaking on.

----Spray or sprinkle drops of water across a pan, then place the parchment paper on it. It will stay in place well enough to put whatever food you are baking or while trimming the paper. I do it all the time. I learned that tip years ago from Martha Stewart. (Also I never touch my food with aluminum, so I always use parchment paper.)
I experimented and used the following. Came out great. - 1 cup Dried cauliflower - 1/2 cup Tapioca flour (about 1/4 the carbs as flour) - 1 egg - 2tbsp bacon grease
I make my sauce from scratch just from a few roma organic tomatoes, chopped garlic and olive oil. No sugar and less carbs and better flavor. I will never bar canned or jar sauce ever again if I can help it.
I dry my tomatoes then blend it with lemon juice and a few raisins and a pinch of salt. Well, that's my ketchup recipe. For sauce I leave out the raisins, add oil and Italian seasoning and simmer. Delicious. BTW, are tomatoes keto friendly? I'm not keto but I'm trying to cut down on what I call insulin triggering foods.
Dr. Berg- I don’t always trim my paper and it shouldn’t burn. I did use a long cookie sheet. You can mold it however you want. I’m being lazy. It was unbelievably good. So kind of you to do this. Such a awesome person. Thank you.
Addicted to this pizza. My daughters are now making it for their families and they love it. We prefer this over traditional pizza. I have also used other cheeses, like cheddar or colby, and then just cut the crust into squares. We use it to top with various dips. Excellent. Just love it!!!
I did not have a metal grater so I chopped then blended with the two eggs a dash of water to get it moving, then added 2 cups cheese I used an Italian cheese blend usual suspects, Ramano, Mozzz, and Parm, I baked it for 16 to 17 minutes, also I added spices, garlic et cetera. Really delicious. Thanks Doc!!

Delicious! A tip on the parchment paper… pull out enough paper to cover your round pie plate, then fold into four, place center point into center of the round, then crease the edge. When you lift it up, you have a perfect curve to cut the round with scissors, then open to the full sheet, and place. I spray my parchment with olive oil first, and it gives a brown toast pizza bottom look to it also. Enjoy!

Melejoy Staten This is why we need to get the word out about Dr. Berg. IMO, he is the best because he is so committed to the vegetables, which I know from my background....vegetables - eaten mostly raw - are really the key to everything else, as he says. I tried it today. Quite easy to make and tasted great. I had one cup of cauliflower rice, so I cut the recipe of the crust in half, i.e. one egg and one cup mozz cheese. Thanks for sharing!
I've now made this a whole lot of times and I would definitely recommend substituting one cup of grated parmesan (yes a little extra work) for a cup of the mozzarella and use only one egg. Two eggs really gives you something more like a frittata.
This is truly the best pizza I ever had. I made it with a few changes, I layered the crust with fresh organic thinly sliced tomatoes (instead of store bought sauce) and added 1/2 cup finely chopped onions over the tomatoes and then added the cheese and other ingredients. Yum mm
Hey guys. I just wanna add a comment. I made these pizza bases *last year* and I froze them. I fell off the keto wagon completely, but Im back on it now. I took one of these bases out of the freezer to have with my supper, and it tastes just like it did the same day I made it. So just wanna let you know that you can make a batch, because they _do_ freeze well. And I didnt even vacuum pack them 😁
@Marie Juana - Thank you. Great idea. I also fell off of Keto, and although I was never successful on it in the beginning, I know it works if I do it properly. I ate too much dirty keto, I think. 🙄
@@greenbeagle13 I feel you. I tried the banting diet (if you arent familiar, its basically the same as keto, except a few carbs are allowed like limited amount of butternut), and I bought the "Real Meal Revolution" book by prof. Tim Noakes (and 3 other people). I was about 13 at the time, and what stood out to me mostly was the exxageration of *eat as much fat as you want*. Looking back now, I didnt do enough physical hardcore exercise to burn the amout of fat I was eating. I was having cream in my coffee every single day, and cream cheese, and coconut oil etc. Although theres are all healthy fats, I was having too much. Also the thing with banting is that they didnt implement IF, and with LCHF (low carb, high fat) diets IF is essential, otherwise you wont lose any weight. But what I basically wanted to say is that I agree with you, and I feel like when people start things like this without the proper research or focus, they tend to have too much fat and not enough veggies. (Which is what happened with me on banting) 😅
1. If you get the “blocked‘ message, just go to his website/blog, it’s there. 2. This tasted pretty darn good. It had a soft, flexible bottom, a little more than I would like. I will try baking it longer, covered with foil for half the time to keep it from burning. 3. Also, next time I will cook my sauce down to help keep the crust from absorbing moisture. Actually, this would be a good idea to do to any juicy topping. 4. Definitely adding to our rotation!
Yummm! Sounds delicious! LARGE PIECES OF CAULIFLOWER : Mash them with the fork so there's no need to remove them. PARCHMENT PAPER : Fold the corners or edges UNDER until it conforms to the pan.
Just plop the stuff on it, form it in the pan then cut off extra parchment paper. You really don't need to cut off the paper. You can use a square pan, rectangle pan.
I do the same thing but I sub the cauliflower with almond meal/flour... it makes the crust way more crispier and gives a more conventional pizza crust texture. Taste great!
You're so peaceful with everything you do. You're a light to follow for our health and pizza is just another something we need! Thank you for always having such a good variety of information and never talking down to us!!
Thanks! I guess I'm making this tomorrow. My husband was over my shoulder when I watched the video and he just ran out to the grocery to get a cauliflower. He really misses pizza.
I've made it twice now. It came out great. The second time (on advice of another vid) I used some harder cheeses in the crust. I did 1/3 each mozzarella, pepper jack, and parmesan. It held together a bit better as a crust. That might be a coincidence though or had something to do with how I mixed or cooked it. Everything else I did just like in this vid. Both pizzas were delicious.
Looks so good. Have one in oven right now. Will not hit Comment until I taste it. I got this tip from Martha Stewart for corralling parchment paper. Squash it with hands. Fold it into halves, then to quarters, to triangle. Measure to size by placing pointed end in center of pan, then cut at big end at outer edge of pan. Unfold and Walla! you have a perfect circle that fits pan. I just took out of oven, topped with more cheese, pepperoni, and spinach. Just a touch of salt and pepper ..., it's a winner! Thanks!
Delicious, just had some left over for breakfast. Pro tip, ring out excess moisture from cauliflower with cheese cloth or clean dish towel. Add a little bit of cayenne pepper for a touch of spice and slow cook crust at a slightly lower temperature to drive out any extra moisture in crust for a nice crispy not wet crust. Delicious.
fthomp01 Venture out and convert the recipes for things you love with KETO ingredient substitutes. Cauliflower, zucchini, and other veggies are great substitutes for the real thing. I've been trying this and it's amazing what you can create in your own kitchen. I've been having a ball watching TH-cam cooking videos. Some of the major/popular big name chefs have KETO versions for everything. Try some of the frittatas ...these have eggs, veggies, and spices ... for breakfast or a main meal. Some people make "mashed potatoes" out of cauliflower. Steamed cauliflower can also make a very good "potato salad". I'm finding that many restaurant's food does not agree with me now, something in their food sets me up for terrible cravings too soon after I eat, so I'm making a lot more at home. For example: Chipotle and QDoba both don't replace the fat in some of their meats with healthy fats. Some of their meat is totally without fat...like the chorizo sausage and chicken meat choice. Red flag!
I just made one...made half the recipe. Tastes awesome! I bet the bottom will make delicious sandwich wraps. Don’t overload your pizza with too many ingredients...may need to use a knife and fork...the flavour is wonderful!

for those who are used to measure with grams and kilograms.
I've used this for 1 pizza
125 gram cauliflower
100 gram of mozzarella
2 eggs
Some oregano
Preheat the oven on 225 Celsius (= 440 F) and then for 20 minutes.
Thank you
you speaking alien!
Marina thank you so much for taking the time to do this, such thoughtfulness always makes me happy 😊🌹❤️✌🏻🏴

I scrunch my parchment before laying it down.sits better in the pan
Hi! When you made it, does it appear like you can you use riced cauliflower or does it need to grated?
@@chitowngirl11 I used the largest grating feature on my box grater. I dont grate the stems, but leave them for other dishes. Also I pick out the larger chunks that inadvertently break off. They don't press as well as the smaller gratings. Happy eating.

Just made this and WOW! Love it! Also, a great pizza sauce is cheap and easy.
1 small can tomato paste
1 can crushed, diced or tomato sauce, whatever ya got
2-3 cloves of garlic
1 Tbsp dried oregano
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp dried basil
1 Tbsp paprika
1 tsp cayenne pepper, if you like it a bit more tangy
1 tsp salt
Mix everything and you are good.
The tomato paste has sugars and preservatives.
Pre-shreded cheese uses starch to keep the cheese from sticking together. Starch = sugar. Shred your own, healthier and more cost effective.

I just steamed the grated cauliflower first, and squeezed out all of the water to master a dryer crust . I used 1 cup of grated Parmesan instead of 2 cups of mozzarella,

It turned out perfect and was a yummy pizza 😋💕😋

Cut the parchment like the snowflakes we used to make in school. Fold the parchment in half, and then half again (to get quarters). The centre of the paper will now be one of the corners.

I started low carb at 72 and now at 74 i feel younger and hopeful, good luck. Now i just need to lose the quretine 15 lbs ,excessive snacking.
My son went for a routine eye examination and ended up in ER. Sugar was 400 & blood pressure was 215. His 38th birthday is today & I'm making it for his bday dinner! Thank you for everything.
My daughter and I gave this a try. It was really good! We added garlic powder and Italian seasoning to the crust. We want to do it again and tweak the recipe a little. Thank you for sharing this recipe. Are you watching this in 2020 like us?
Dr. Berg, you're Godsend. Pizza is my favorite. I used to cook it all the time.. I have been miserable not being able to eat it. But now that you showed us the crust recipe, it's on. It is so freaking on.
Love you dr Berg just discovered you a few months ago and you’ve already changed my life. Thank you so much for everything that you do for humanity. I don’t really have a lot of people in my life but I feel like I’ve truly connected to somebody and we don’t even know each other that’s a beautiful thing about TH-cam. Love you all.
Thanks!
Thanks!!
This man’s voice and enunciation are perfect. Not just the great info, but the delivery! Thank you sir! Never tire of learning from you.
Yeah. This channel is a gem.
agreed. just found him today.
Love Pepperoni!
I would cut up pepperoni to get it all over the 🍕😋
Miles better than those ASMRs (OK THEY'RE A GUILTY PLEASURE OK??!!)
Wishing there were restaurants that made food like this.
I just found a Keto restaurant in Fulham, London. And they do pizzas!
California pizza kitchen sells cauliflower dough pizza, probably not as clean as this one though.
@@burrytellam do they deliver to Los Angeles California. 🙂🙂
I guess you don’t live in California.
@@burrytellam wow......
I experimented and used the following. Came out great.
- 1 cup Dried cauliflower
- 1/2 cup Tapioca flour (about 1/4 the carbs as flour)
- 1 egg
- 2tbsp bacon grease
I make my sauce from scratch just from a few roma organic tomatoes, chopped garlic and olive oil. No sugar and less carbs and better flavor. I will never bar canned or jar sauce ever again if I can help it.
me as well with some oregano, rose marry and basil for greater smell and taste
I do that too..and add any other herbs i like..
Can I have recipe ?
I dry my tomatoes then blend it with lemon juice and a few raisins and a pinch of salt. Well, that's my ketchup recipe. For sauce I leave out the raisins, add oil and Italian seasoning and simmer. Delicious. BTW, are tomatoes keto friendly? I'm not keto but I'm trying to cut down on what I call insulin triggering foods.
Thanks, Renaissance Man - I think I'd really like your sauce suggestion with fresh ingredients..and will make it ASAP :)
Dr Berg I followed your recipe and it turned out perfect.
Dont you just love it when your pizza is "totally legal"!
😁
😂 My thought exactly! So awesome!
Yes i do lol
Yeah but there is sick people who cant eat .he did so good job telling them about this pizza
Hehe yes. We don’t want the Keto cops knocking down the door.
"eat this pizza as much as you want and you won't gain weight."
Aahhh... music to my ears.
But when I eat the whole thing (which I do) I tend to get the runs the next day....
😭🤭
@@DarkMoonDroid that's good and completely normal
How is that possible with all that cheese?
@@jennymacallan9071 It is not possible, has cal 2600 , fat: 196 grams (120 saturated), cholesterol 1034 mg. , 68% fat sounds like a heart stopper to me.. Better off with a wheat crust.
The crust is the fat maker ???
I have been almost 2 month without eating wheat flour, I feel great but the cravings are killing me 😂, I'll definitely give it a try, Also the parchment paper circle, if you fold the square in half then half again and again you get a something like a triangle figure, place the tip of the triangle on the center of the tin pan and cut the edge when you unfold the triangle you will have a perfectly fitted circle 😊❤ ready for Pizza "Dough"
Hello Abigail, thanks for reaching out. Appreciate you sharing that tip! Here are the three reasons why you crave carbs, and are very straightforward and easy to correct 👉 th-cam.com/video/ZGY2ASJ2NSM/w-d-xo.html
Enjoy!
Parchment paper: Trace the bottom of the pan on the paper and cut just inside the line, thereby eliminating the graphite.
I knew that someone (perhaps hundreds) would be able to let the good doctor know the easy solution to the paper problem. Very good. Stuff my mother taught me.....
Add 1 tsp oregano and 1 tsp garlic salt - smells wonderful while baking. Makes a difference!
Fold the parchment paper twice. Put the folded paper into the pan and either mark or cut along outside. You get a very good circle this way.
I loved the way you said not to much then just piled on the cheese, LMBO!!!
LOL I loved that. "Not too much" and then cut to the entire pizza covered in cheese. Dr. Berg rocks and is sometimes unintentionally funny.
hahahahah thats what i noticed.
*too*
yeah, that was really funny! :DDDD
Samantha James-Tharp, PA exactly what I also noticed... but looks damn tasty.
I've watched a lot of your videos doc and I honestly don't know how u don't have a bizillion subscribers! Your the best and very very educated and super informative. I've learned so much from you and how many mistakes and " traps" the food industry had me in! Thank you for you! Much love from Boston!
Perfectly stated!!!!! I'm surprised Big Pharma and Big Food doesn't have a contract hit out on him!
If he added that music crap at the beginning of his videos and wasted your time making 30 minute videos that say nothing he would have more subscribers. Plus he’s like a teacher. The attention span of the younger people these days isn’t much.
Melejoy Staten This is why we need to get the word out about Dr. Berg. IMO, he is the best because he is so committed to the vegetables, which I know from my background....vegetables - eaten mostly raw - are really the key to everything else, as he says. I notice many people are eating their own junk version of KETO and it won't work in the long run.
Very clear and no crap talk, Def one of The best on TH-cam right now

Y’all. I made this tonight for dinner. 12/5/2019. It’s so freakin great! This is going to change my fat-life. For real. Bless you Dr. Berg! And your fabulous wife😇❤️
Randi Higginbotham amazing, im going to make it tonight and I’m so excited lol did you track your macros? I’ve been looking for those
Ruth Laureano No macro checking. I’m not there yet. For me that will be some months down the road😊
Randi Higginbotham I hear you, when I started I didn’t even know how to track them lol but I learned and now I try to track them as much as I can lol thank you for the reply
That's great! I want to make this! Did you decide to dry the cauliflower first when you made it?
H H If by dry, you mean paper-towel squeeze it, no. I do recall using 1 egg after the first time. And then not another time around. I got pretty obsessed with it, lol!
Thisgirl boiled the cauliflour 5 min. then put in a towel and squeezed out extra water let cool and put egg cheese made into a ball and pushed onto a pan cooked 20 min put toppings and cooked again. Yours looks good too. 😊❤
Fantastic recipe! Thanks, Dr Berg. It turned out perfect, and I couldn't taste the cauliflower at all. I added onion powder, garlic powder and dried Italian herbs to the crust mix. I found my pizza crust recipe!
Made this pizza last night, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Felt like I was cheating on my keto life eating this cause it taste so real. Deff messed with my mind lol HIGHLY recommended
Did anyone else have a problem with the crust getting stuck to the parchment paper? I even sprayed the next one and it still stuck!!! 😩
April Anthony i has that too .. couldn’t get out that easily ..
@@aprilanthony2436 Yes,it did happen to me,next time I will grease the pizza pan and just bake the crust without parchment paper
@@aprilanthony2436 Mine turned out perfect. One little spike stuck where the cheese must’ve melted. I just took a spatula and went underneath it. That was so unbelievably wonderful. By the way I also used my pizza stone instead of the foil pan. Perfect
@@aprilanthony2436 omg mine also got stuck it was a disaster.... 🤔 the pizza came out really pretty but I didnt understand why it got stuck. Maybe because i didnt remove and ring out the water after shredded the cauliflower. I seen other videos where they ring out the water from the cauliflower with a towel
Add a tablespoon of Italian seasoning. You can use this as bread sticks also just add cheese to the top as well.
Love this. Smart
I love how Dr.Berg explains everything! So humble, so honest and gives great advice! Thank you for all you do!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I tried it today. Quite easy to make and tasted great. I had one cup of cauliflower rice, so I cut the recipe of the crust in half, i.e. one egg and one cup mozz cheese. Thanks for sharing!
2024 anyone?
Right here
October 22, 2024…🎉
Yes.
Yep , just now watching lol
Yes
I've now made this a whole lot of times and I would definitely recommend substituting one cup of grated parmesan (yes a little extra work) for a cup of the mozzarella and use only one egg. Two eggs really gives you something more like a frittata.
Good to know, I was wondering if the crust would be “eggy”
Just made this for the first time and yes, it is more like an omelet than a pizza crust. Will try your suggestions
WHERE'S THE LAMB SAUCE!!!!
Has anyone tried the canned chicken crust?
@@pilgrimlady8196 I really like the canned chicken crust pizza.
And I didnt even vacuum pack them 😁
No thanks 🤢
Thank you!! 😊
@@myrnaparedes3475 🤗

This is a great recipe, I have made it 4 or 5 times and also used some cheddar. A real life saver since I am pre-diabetic. 5 stars
Love it. I have this 2-3 times per week. Only advice would be, use a good quality grease proof paper.
IDEA 💡 - Bake it on a rectangular baking sheet. It doesn’t have to be round.
Cheers, I found a tetrahedron baking sheet works just as well too! another handy tip! : )

Thanks! I guess I'm making this tomorrow. My husband was over my shoulder when I watched the video and he just ran out to the grocery to get a cauliflower. He really misses pizza.
How was it? I really miss pizza too!

***** I tried it and it was amazing! I sure miss my pizza.
LOL...me too...I 💘 LOVE 🍕...😋
Delicious.
Omg I am on keto diet and I am dying to eat something different and this pizza recipe looks some yummy, I will make it. Thanks for sharing.
fthomp01 Venture out and convert the recipes for things you love with KETO ingredient substitutes. Red flag!
I made this a couple of days ago. My picky daughter LOVED it! It was delicious and super easy to make. Thank you Dr Berg.
I just made one...made half the recipe. Tastes awesome! I bet the bottom will make delicious sandwich wraps. Don’t overload your pizza with too many ingredients...may need to use a knife and fork...the flavour is wonderful!
