I don’t drink In real life but learning about food / drinks adds more to the world building of Tamriel.

About the Bosmer fermented pigmilk: in real life the Mongolians actually have an alcoholic drink made from fermented horsemilk so it has real precedent.

It's pretty interesting that Khajiit enjoy sweet things so much when you consider real cats don't have the gene to be able to taste sweetness. Either whoever started that in the writing just didn't know cats can't taste it, or it's connected to their origin as an elven race when Azura changed them.

Mead is actually my fav drink IRL, and I've always loved to build up a collection of Honningbrew in my Skyrim playthroughs. Might be a good idea to talk about foods/cultural dishes next throughout Tamriel, you can tell a lot about a people by what cuisines they enjoy to make.

I’m trying to use lore-friendly alcohol in my fanfics, so this video will be incredibly helpful!

Fermented pig's milk actually sounds great to me - fermented mare's milk is a popular drink in some parts of the world. Not sure about the meat juice, though.

As someone who became straight edge at the beginning of the year, if someone pointed a fireball at me and made me choose between each race's most famous alcoholic drink i would choose either Bosmer or Argonians's drinks so that the true last time i drink some alcohol i drink it in a unique way.

I'd be a lot warmer and happier with a belly full of Mead

metheglin is a type of mead made in real life actually, it's just a term for a spiced mead

Always wished they included more of the various beverages from the other realms in Skyrim. I liked having options for different playthroughs so that one character might be a rum drinking Redguard and the next character might be a whiskey and brandy drinking Nord.

Ah the most important video this one. You'll want the Bannered Mare. See old Hulda, she'll keep you swimming in mead!

Bosmer can import wine. They can also import wood for use. The pact means that they just can’t harm the forest themselves.
