Nice work!! I have an 89 AMG 560SEL in midnight blue so appreciate this golden era of the 80's (also own 2 x SEC coupes) & good to see you re-waxed the underneath with the protective sealant. Glad those wheels were swapped out for the AMG/Oz 3 piece at the end.
Great job guys! The dry ice cleaning is just mesmerizing. And how you are able to take EVERYTHING apart and get it put back together perfectly is just awesome.
No se de qué países son las personas que trabajan en Iam detalling pero se nota la mano Latina que es la mas trabajadora de USA. Mis respetos para los trabajadores. Felicitaciones.
Nice Job, just for future reference. The door light bezels and the glove box bezel have the positive and negative stamped on them. No need to write them in. The wires are self explanatory. Ground is solid brown. Cheers.
What a timeless beauty. Its one of my dreams to buy and restore this classic from scratch, including a full engine swap to get it up to speed with modern standards…
What a nice car and what a nice job you did restoring it. These older cars deserve to be kept and driven :) That dry ice is really next gen. Is it as tough as aqua blasting ?
Thank you! We completely agree :) Aqua blasting will definitely be abrasive, while dry ice is non abrasive blasting method. Dry ice cleaning uses a physics process call sublimation to remove contaminants from surfaces. Super interesting stuff!
Dry ice cleaning is amazing. But I have a question: Does it clean physically - like sand blasting, because it is a solid - or does it clean because it is cold? It seems to also be an INSTANT degreaser - with no chemicals?
im so grateful for all the hours you guys put into this video. Great job. I understand the cleaning side of things! the concourse look is amazing. I do have one question ? some of the stuff you are removing is fisholine " rust protection" is removing it detrimental? do you then re coat with weather proofing? I'm not judging you I just want to learn so im formed when I do this to my 911
You guys never cease to impress! I know this job wasn't cheap! But whatever the cost, the value of the vehicle increased by at least as much! If not more so! The murdered out Benz looks sick! Well Done, guys! Cheers!

Nice work, do you coat everything you blast with dry ice afterwards? I feel like surface rust and dirt will come back again quickly (stick even easier since its new bare metal)?
On this car was the chrome trim wrapped black or was it actually painted to match the body? I have a 500SE 1990, same AMG parts as this car minus the 3 piece, I have the monoblock wheels. All my trim is chrome and I'm looking to get the same look as this car.
I wish I could find a quality detail shop in my area. I have a 1987 300sdl I would like to have a good detail and paint correction on. Hard to find a competent shop.
wow I clearly can be seen in minute 4:28 how a cable got teared apart, so it's a technique hard on plastics, and on old hardened connectors you have to be really carefull.
You have to be super careful with your settings. Things like this will require replacement. And on certain cars, that might mean BIG problems. Best to slow down, and be extra careful
Love it. Disassemble the ashtray to make it shiny - forget that you actualy can remove the headrests to clean them and seats properly. And remember to replace classic alloys with some bling-bling crap.
Master's indeed. Excellent. Side note: Could have just resprayed the horns for that added touch. Otherwise, splendid work on a splendid car. Magic Touch.
putting those wheels on was the cherry on top! once again fantastic work guys!
Thanks for watchin buddy!
It's pretty amazing that dry ice can be such a powerful cleaner yet be so gentle on everything like the delicate electrical connections/wires
It truly is! You can make it super gentle or you can strip paint with it if you wanted. Unreal

I could be perfectly happy just cleaning stuff with dry ice all day. So satisfying 😂
Best Mercedes ever made and such a beauty. Great work guys

The Mercedes looked marvelous when you finished restoring it.

How did they NOT do the headlights?
Looks amazing, best looking w126 sedan I have seen.
Why did the gas tank gauge moved at 9:23 ?
Superb. I love the tobacco brown interior, don't see that coming and going. "Lord Vader, your ride is ready"

4:25 dry ice stripped that wire, hope that was repaired
You caught that? That was very good.
That twisted rubber brake hose at the right rear wheel. Completely life-threatening.
Great work as always, your attention to detail never fails to impress. I def took a few notes. The owner must be blown away by the result.

We get this question a lot. We are removing the undercoating and replacing it with a modern coating alternative
That was amazing. Can anything be done about the sagging nets behind the front seats?
SUPREME job restoring the project better then new!
This car was iffy but now... holy mackerel! What a timeless piece of class - like an old watch! Great job!
Owner of this knows that in another 20 years this car is gonna fetch a serious premium
Thats the hope!
Absolutely stunning 😍 great work guys! 💯💥
What are you spraying on the brush to clean interior? I did not see any reconditioning the leather. THX!
4:00 those control arms are BEAUTIFUL.
Style!
The German cars had an amazing era around 80's and 90’s. I wish they all could find their way back to class and style again.
I’d love to know how much would this cost.
Completely another level.

how expensiv is your dryice machine? Or maybe the name of it would be nice thx and really great job.
