  • Swimming Dragon Qigong is an ancient Taoist Qigong practice which focuses heavily on full body spiraling movements. The rotating and twisting motion of this simple and beautiful Qigong form can help releasing the stagnant energy in the internal organs, increasing the flexibility of the spine and energizing the Qi flow in Conception, Governing and Thrusting Vessel (任脈, 督脈, 衝脈). To get the most benefit of this form, practice it daily.

    Thank you for some beautiful demonstrations on your channel. I can't help but wonder if you offer instructional (guided) videos as well? For example, your previous video where you draw the yin yang symbol was very intriguing, and I would be most interested in learning the movements should you be willing to teach them. Thank you for your videos ❤️🙏

      You are very welcome! I am really happy that you find my demonstrations helpful. I am currently giving a lot of my time and energy to my semi-private in person group, so it will be taking me a while to produce more instructional or guided materials. I am really glad that you like the Yin Yang symbol movement. I will certainly make a video on this. Thank you for sharing your interests. It’s on my to-do list now! 🙂🙏

    This qigong thing is becoming ridiculous. Anyone can choreograph certain fancy movements and label them as qigong.

    • @VivienChaoTaichiQigong
      @VivienChaoTaichiQigong  ปีที่แล้ว +8

      龍游功 is an ancient Daoist martial art that originated from the Huashan school 華山派 in China. This secretive technique involves intricate body movements where practitioners twist and turn their bodies, emulating the graceful motions of a dragon emerging from water. This mesmerizing display of fluidity earned it the name "Dragon Swimming Technique." Moreover, during the practice, the hands trace three consecutive circular paths in front and to the sides of the body, creating a visual representation of interconnected rings. As a result, this art is also referred to as the "Three-Ring Technique 三環功." Through the combination of these movements, 龍游功 cultivates strength, agility, and harmony with the principles of nature.

    • @VivienChaoTaichiQigong
      @VivienChaoTaichiQigong  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Just breathe naturally. The only moment to pay attention to is when you lift your heels and bring your hands towards the sky - that's the inhale. When you lower the heels and bring your hands to the heart, that's the exhale. I don't focus on anything else, as I use this form as a moving meditation. I hope this is helpful. 🙏

      To practice yin Yang symbol moving meditation, you can imagine holding a energy ball in front of your body and letting it draw yin yang symbol horizontally, vertically, and all directions. It’s a beautiful energy dance between you and everything else (your other-selves). Enjoy! 😉
