    Ive also just discovered you videos and am very taken by them - & will follow and play them regularly. Why, in this vid, is the Qi energy ball so frequently changing size? Are yu standing or kneeling? Thanks very much (from Australia)

    • @VivienChaoTaichiQigong
      @VivienChaoTaichiQigong  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I'm glad you've found this channel helpful! Yes, the Qi energy ball changes its size during practice. It's also very enjoyable to feel and interact with.
      Gently bend your knees when practicing to encourage the flow of Qi. You can lower your stance a little if you find it suitable, but be mindful of protecting your knees from injury.

    Dear Vivien, thank you so much for your videos! I practice almost every day with you!There is a question I would really like to ask you. What is the difference between tai'chi and qigong? I have tried to find it, but it is far much better to ask a devoted proffesional like you.I am Alex rom Bulgaria, greetings

    • @VivienChaoTaichiQigong
      @VivienChaoTaichiQigong  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Alex! Thanks for asking. Here's the gist: Taijiquan is a martial art where you imagine fighting an invisible opponent in every move. Meanwhile, Qigong is all about harmonizing your inner and outer worlds through gentle movements, breathing, and meditation to balance your life energy (Qi). Also, Qigong comes in different flavors: Scholar, medical, spiritual, and martial. If you're keen to learn more, I highly recommend checking out Dr. Yang, Jwing-Ming’s books on the topic. They're fantastic!

  • @andymask

    This is a beautiful complex of Qigong and you perform it very nice. Is it possible to read or learn more details about it?

    • @VivienChaoTaichiQigong
      @VivienChaoTaichiQigong  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Only if I write about it. 😁
      This is my spontaneous free flow practice, a blend of silk reeling, Taichi ball, spinal wave, and white crane movements, all combined into a 10-minute routine.
      I'm considering the possibility of reverse engineering this 10-minute sequence to create a foundational training course.
      Thank you for showing interest in and curiosity about the history and theory behind this practice! 👍😊🙏

      Stand with your feet parallel and shoulder-width apart when facing forward. Ensure your toes align with your knees when turning to avoid potential knee injuries. Great question!

      Thank you. But sorry to bother you again. Do the legs should stay bend and parallel in the same position throughout the form? Or should we shift the weight to each leg while swaying? Please advise.

    Hello master ,
    How do i breathe (inhale and exhale) while practicing ?

    • @VivienChaoTaichiQigong
      @VivienChaoTaichiQigong  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you for asking this great question! As you inhale deeply, feel your body rising up and expanding. As you exhale, sink down and release any tension. Inhale again, drawing in positive energy and allowing it to flow through your entire being. As you exhale, let go of any negativity and imagine sending out that positive energy to those around you. Continue this cycle of breathing, rising, and sinking, allowing the movement to flow naturally with your breath. Take a few moments to simply be present in this peaceful state, feeling renewed and energized. Happy practicing!

      Adjust breathing according to the flow of energy in chi .. ?
      😪
      It's not going to be easy that I know of its. ..
      But yes*
      I will practice .. again and again
      Might ask it unless it works well for me.
      I recognize you're really feeling that your breathing and your energy match perfectly 100% !
      If you’re close to where I live, ?
      I would be happy to be there to learn perfectly.
      it’s a dream!
      ‘cause
      Qi+ cultivation = alive that I believe it .
      Thank you master bless you

      @VivienChaoTaichiQigong  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You don't have to put pressure on yourself, my friend. Let your breath guide your movements, and make it your friend. If it doesn't come naturally yet, try syncing your breathing to your body's mechanics. You'll notice that opening your arms will cause a natural inhalation, while lowering them will result in a natural exhale. So, take it easy and explore what works best for you.
      I'm excited to announce that I'll be going live for the first time on this channel on August 1st at 7 pm (New York Time). Be sure to turn on the bell notification so that you don't miss the 1-hour class. See you there!

      Quiet your mind. Feel your breath, a gentle rhythm within. Notice subtle energy, like a stream flowing. Befriend your breath. With practice, your body guides you towards balance.
