EXCELLENT VIDEO, I MANAGED TO REMOVE MY RADIATOR AND TAKE IT TO WELD AND THEN REINSTALL IT, AT THIS TIME YOU SEE HOW IMPORTANT IT IS TO KNOW AT LEAST THE BASIC MECHANICS SO YOU DON'T BE HOSTAGE TO THE MECHANICS. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO.
Thanks for the detailed video! Very helpful actually seeing how all the parts assemble vs. looking at a diagram in the service manual. FYI, at 24:41 in your video you ask what connectors you're looking at, the light grey connector located at your index finger at that time mark is an accessory 12v power connector. The cap is removable and is only there to protect the contacts in the male side of the connector. You can get wiring plugs on eBay to replace the protective blank cap with a wired female end of the connector. The accessory power is switched with the ignition and is on a 2 amp fuse that sits within the fuse block that you removed towards the front side of the air scoop.
Thanks for the positive feedback...glad you liked it! I know what you mean...that's one of the reasons that I started this channel was to provide videos that people could actually see what was happening up close. I actually figured out what the connector was... about a month later when I made this video....at 53 seconds in. In the description at the bottom, I left a link on where to purchase. th-cam.com/video/3rQZiyD87pU/w-d-xo.html
Thanks....the dimpled snow cliff was 200 yards from the top on the way to Artist Point near the Mt. Baker Ski Area..picture and video taken July 18 2018 when the snow was almost gone...I'm glad I'm filming this so I can remember where and how everything goes(and to help other people see the process)..If you click the thumbs up(and subscribe if you haven't) it helps my channel grow...also there is a link in the description and in the about section of my channel where you can show your appreciation by buying me a coffee...or just click the same link here ...www.buymeacoffee.com/thanksrobert
Nothing is wrong with the radiator you are correct... I just took it off so I could film the valve adjustment procedure better.... Some people just tilt the radiator forward to do a valve adjustment... It's not too hard to remove so I would probably just take it off and change the coolant while you're at....if it's time....
Thank you for taking the time to document this. Its helping more people than you realize! There are many of us that really do appreciate it.
Thanks for the word of encouragement!

@@bucheeduardo3813 you're welcome! thanks for the positive feedback.
Nice vid. By the time of my 2020 Tracer 900 GT, Yamaha has much improved the upper radiator mount bolts, which are 10mm hex-heads. Good job here!
Thanks for the positive feedback... much appreciated!

I like your new intro riding near the snow fields! Here’s hoping you don’t have too many left over parts when you reassemble this machine.
