I love agriculture if I had the skills I wouldn't even think about pay till it really mattered I love the idea of just growing a crop and harvesting it to feed people it's a satisfying looking process in my opinion. Hopefully one day I'll be able to work on a farm.
Where I live minimum working age is 14 with a permit and I am about 1 and 1/2 years from being 14 and was starting to think that farming would be a great job because I have always loved working outside. Anyways living In rural Virginia I thought this would be a good job for me because I am surrounded by farms and your video has helped me figure out what to and not do during application for a job. Thanks a lot man and stay safe.
I would ideally like to work on a homestead. Depending on the size of the farm. I have a lot of interest in Medicinal Herbs so An Organic Medicinal Herb Farm would be perfect. Not sure there is a lot of call for help in that. I love working with plants. Since I was a child I have been enchanted with plants. I am open to pretty much anything. If anyone has job. Let me know here.... Any leads welcome too. Sorry LH Farms, didn't mean to hijack your page. I am just in a desperate situation at the moment. NEED A JOB. Months ago. Earn while I learn is fine...I know a lot about gardening and plants. Also a good cook.
The problem (for me) is on full display in these comments. All the 13-14 year olds raised in that environment taking these jobs for super low wages. You can’t support a family for less than 25 an hour, but logically why would anyone train a 23 year old for that wage when they could train a 14 year old for 8.50. I just wish I was born on a farm 😂 oh well 🤷♂️
I am a fast learner I pick things up quick like super quick. I want to work on a farm anyone know where I can find a farm that also provides housing please i am homeless and I can do literally anything and very much reliable. PLEASE HELP ME
Working with a good farmer will make you feel like an extended family member. Definitely a lot of time spent together
Yessir you got that right!
It’s true

My advice would be to start out on a custom harvest crew. That was the best decision I’ve ever made. It’ll get you the experience you need.
That's definitely a good way to gain experience!

What if a person doesn't do social media?
Would that discount them?
Sure, I could set up an account, but it will be empty.
I drove a 26 ft moving truck from California to Colorado and then to New Mexico... Does that count?

Search locally. Ask them if you can work for them in person. Usually farms advertise by word of mouth or newspapers.
